A list of puns related to "Coffee production in Costa Rica"
Can anyone recommend a coffee tour that would cater to people who are really into coffee and drink 3rd wave coffee in the US from roasters like Stumptown, Intelligentsia, Onyx, and Counter Culture. Preferably somewhere between Arenal area and San Jose or a little out of the way. Thank you.
Hello All,
I started this run feeling good because I did awesome on the speed run the night before and was looking forward to this well-needed recovery run.
All was going well I was learning about coffee, and then it hit me. Wait I've been to Costa Rica, I've seen these coffee farms, (Not this one in particular) then my fears were confirmed. Tommy has this way of talking to you and gassing you up saying this is going to be a 77 of your heart rate, don't go over all this while going down a hill.
At this point, my treadmill is at a -3 and I'm saying to myself, we are going to have to go back up this damn hill, I'm sure of it. When Tommy said we are going to do a U-TURN and go back, clearly from a -3 to a 15 on my treadmill, allow me to digress for a moment in the Marines we have an obstacle course, and on that obstacle course, there is an apparatus that's called the dirty name. It's nothing more than three structures strategically placed five feet higher than the next and further away than the next. You see a lot of Marines failing miserably while trying to complete this obstacle in order to move on to the next, and nothing but angry Marines falling to the ground, and foul language is used when trying to complete this obstacle.
Tommy is the freaking Dirty Name. What the hell Tommy, it's clear that my definition of recovery and yours are so not the same. Let's suffice it to say that I did complete the run, and oh yeah I did use complete stinking sentences to voice my displeasure at Tommy. LOL, A freaking 15 man.
Hell, there was a part in that run where there were some benches and I told Tommy if you don't sit your ass down and give me five minutes man..... of course, that didn't happen he just jogged his ass right by them talking about the coffee and pulp. I think I'm just going to have tea in the morning before the run screw coffee for the rest of the week.
Anyway, this was my share I hope you guys at the very least chuckled a bit.
I plan on bringing back home plenty of costa rican coffee.
What are some of the ones that I can't miss?
Already tried the ones from Britt and 1820, definitely will be getting those. But what others are worth taking home?
My aunt in Costa Rica has stomach cancer, and she's having a hard time with her appetite.
At first I thought I could just bring her some of my medical marijuana, because I have a prescription for chronic pain, but since I'm flying, the last thing I want is to get arrested before I even see her.
So I thought I'd ask the wise folks of the internet: what would be the least risky way to get my aunt some ganja? Should I just find a dealer? How does one locate a dealer these days?
Thanks in advance!
My wife and I just booked 6 nights in Guanacaste for our honeymoon, and the only thing I want to do is go on a coffee tour. Does anyone have any experience?
