A list of puns related to "Che (2008 film)"
Iβve always loved this film and thought it was really intense and super effective. The plot is simple and executed so well. The direction/cinematography is amazing and really makes you feel like youβre there with them or experiencing the events yourself. The entire film Is so well shot and staged. I love the wide shot of Liv in the kitchen only for baghead to walk into frame from the dark room behind her and just stand there and watch her without her knowledge. Love how this shot lingers. I also love the moment where we see them each take off all the masks only for the camera to cut away right before we see their faces. Overall such a well directed film.
The cabin out in the middle of nowhere is a great location and one where itβs layout is used well. Itβs a beautiful cabin, but feels scary at night because of itβs secluded location and grows to feel less safe as the film goes on. The killerβs that pop in and out and float around the property are so menacing as well. Their quietness and calm nature as they just watch our couple adds to how scary they are and feel. Every shot of them is great and threatening. I also love the masks and thought they were creepy and the perfect touch. Visually theyβre great.
The performances are strong and I like that our two lead characters are just these average mundane people who happen to be going through this awkward, uncomfortable personal situation only to then be dropped into this terrifying situation. The atmosphere, suspense and tension that this film ratchets up is amazing. I also really liked the filmβs soundtrack and itβs unnerving usage of country music. Specifically the scene where baghead surprises Liv at the patio door and she knocks into the record player and the song just starts skipping. Also later on when one of the killerβs turns it when Liv and Scott were hiding is a creepy little touch.
Overall an effective home invasion film that still manages to make me uncomfortable and tense after repeat viewings. I also love how this film doesnβt feel safe like a majority of otherβs do. This film is a total success and one that manages to be so because of itβs simple ideas that are so well and eerily executed.

I've seen How High. I would like to watch some mindfuck movies with dark and unpredictable stupid humor,in order to me to laugh uncontrollably.Waiting for some suggestions.Thanks.
I revisited The Ruins the other night and I still think it holds up. I think one of the things that make it a good horror film is the killing aspect without an physical killer (if you donβt count the Mayan natives). I know in a lot of horror movies you have your tangible killers (Jason, Michael Myers, Freddy, etc) but with this is different. Rather than a human doing the killing, itβs the plants. Just like in Cabin Fever (2002), itβs the water that is actually the βkiller.β Now, I know that there are humans killing each other in these movies but just the psychological aspect of something nonhuman doing is pretty neat. Anyway, thatβs all I have to say.
Saw it again today after a long gap and it continues to hold up very well. Top shelf horror with a distinctive premise, well-acted, grisly and gripping all the way through. The book it's based on is also an interesting read, albeit a long one, and honestly the film probably does a tighter job with the story (some variations), not surprising as the author also penned the screenplay. The one possible criticism is that the doomsday twist traditional to this type of film was left on the cutting room floor. Likely because it was difficult to juxtapose tonally with the actual ending sequence shown (which was also a nice touch).

... keep reading on reddit β‘Hi, in 2008 when I was 20 and superiorly stupid, I hopped on a skateboard with my best pal Mike Kosciesza along side two other good friends on bikes as our support and camera crew. 36 agonizing days later, our trip was finished.
When you're done watching Shred America, you will know exactly how NOT to skateboard across the country, because we fucked up all along the way.
The journey was half the battle, as it took us 13 years to release the film with Gravitas Ventures after a failed festival run. The trailer should fill in some blanks.
Mike will also be answering questions here. He was the producer, editor and skateboarder in the film. His answers will be signed -M

1:07 CST- We are back
Edit 01: Significance of the iphone: Yeah smart phones are a total crutch. Nowadays, if I need to know something I just Google it and find out instantly, back then you were kind of shit out of luck. You had to just wing it which made the trip way more interesting and caused us to fuck up way more than we would have liked haha.
If I didnβt know how to do something I would just call my dad.
4:44pm: Off to see my parents here for a bit and fix a flat tire. Thanks to everyone who participated in this AMA. Feel free to message me personally on our instagram page @ShredAmerica. I will still answer things as they come in but might be a bit delayed.

Theres a scene at the end where they are leading some humans into a forest (that is completely symmetrical). This is all I remember
I remember it had a yellow background and something like "Find that film" in black. It was different because you could participate in helping others remember titles and because you could search the log to see what ppl had described and what it turned out to be. I had painstakingly saved every page before they deleted it but a hard drive crash lost it all. Would love to have that site saved again if you remember anything at all about it that would be helpful. Thanks!
Two of my friends (they are sibling) tell me about a funny movie, I tried to find it using google by searching the plot of the movie but I can't find it and I can't ask them because I don't know where are they now, cause they move out when they're young, the story they told me is about an actress got in an accident and thought to be dead, but when she came back to the set the staff of the movie she is filming got scared because they thought she is already dead and they're seeing ghost. I don't if they just made up the movie they're telling me, but if anyone knows if theres something similar can you comment it. I thought the story is made from Korea or Thailand because of how the humour of the story or maybe I'm wrong.
