A list of puns related to "Carnivore (restaurant)"
I travel a lot for work, which requires eating out for multiple meals per week. What chain restaurants (fast food or dine-in) are your go-toβs for decent carnivore options?
Edit: thank you all for the great options - itβs much appreciated!
So for the first time in three or so weeks I went out with my family for an evening meal at local Turkish restaurant. Typically I would put on four or five pounds pre carnivore but last night/this morning what a success.
I had one gin and tonic, rest of the time sparkling water, calf liver as starter and mixed grill as main course, never touched anything other than meat. Had a thoroughly good time with the family, felt guilty when the waiter picked up plate with uneaten vegetables (as they looked perfectly fine) and this morning only weighed in 0.2 pounds heavier than day before! That will soon disappear and am very enthused with the way things are going
For my UK colleagues this was at Percios (Turkish restaurant)
looking for patio as well
Other than Brazilian (yum!) what are some carnivore friendly restaurants/cuisines?
If you've ever gone to any right-wing leaning part of the internet, you will be inundated with the craziest fucking pro-meat propaganda on the face of the planet with an unbelievable (as in I think they're lying) amount of conservatives claiming to be former vegans of 36 years that switched to the carnivore diet and had every ailment known to man cured.
But irl, I don't see it. I mean I live in the south and can find vegetarian and vegan restaurants. I never saw a carnivore restaurant in my life. No one would go to one. I've never even seen a carnivore option on a menu. Jordan Peterson seems to be the only celebrity carnivore in existence.
Are these online people just lying about being carnivores, or are carnivore dieters just all shut ins that you never see irl, because something isn't adding up.
Do you know any carnivore friendly restaurants in the UK?
If so would you mind to add it into this website?
I'm trying to help people to find some Carnivore friendly restaurants nearby their location.

Esquire Korea published an article in March, 2020 which described 5 vegan restaurants in Seoul that met with the author's emphatic approval, including Plant which was . Though with Level 2.5 social distancing in full effect this month there might not be much opportunity to visit, perhaps this can provide a resource to help you eat well and support local businesses during the pandemic recovery period. This did come out in March, and a lot of good restaurants have gone under since then, but all 5 of these still appear to have their IGs up and running. Each entry in this article has the IG link present to help you get to know them.
Though the page, like many Korean webpages, has disabled right clicking you can still copy and paste by highlighting your desired text and hitting Ctrl+C.
So, hopefully y'all have something to look forward to around New Years'.
Happy Eating!
I am a disgusting meat eater and want to take my son and his SO out for a really nice dinner. She is vegan, he is pretty much vegan as a result of her being one, but I do the whole meat thing.
Any ideas on nice places with a menu that will satisfy the whole party?
Nice, but not a place that would require taking out a second mortgage. Appetizers/Dinner/Drinks for three running no more than say, $200??
Any ideas? No real preferences on cuisine.
Thanks!
I love the carnivore diet but I also miss eating out. Does anyone know of any carnivore friendly restaurants in the United States?
Preferably grass-fed-finished local beef. Any tips?
Which restaurants are OK?
McDonalds / Wendy's burger patties are OK right?
How about going to steakhouses and asking for a ribeye with no seasoning, no butter, no oil? Anyone tried this?
With the exception being family pets, if you save one animal from another, it kinda cancels the good deed you're trying to commit. Yes. You saved one things life but you potentially ended another's.
Why arenβt animals who only eat meat ALWAYS constipated?
Being vegan always terrified me. I was, on reflection addicted to animal products. They are so EASY to create food, any food, taste superb with virtually no effort.
Over the lockdown period, I found my weight baloon to 101kg, 222lb (I am 37m 6ft) the first time I had been in triple digits, and I was horrified in myself for letting myself get to such a state, so, I decided that I would get down to 75kg, where I feel most comfortable, in the safest way possible.
I have been using huel as a meal replacement, three times a day, to intake 1200 calories. Now, to be frank I didn't realise Huel was vegan until I starting using it, but after a week using it I found I felt immesurably better, my skin was clearer and I felt more alert and less groggy.
I add Oat Milk to Huel to bulk it out and stop me getting hungry (Oat Milk is bloody amazing by the way, if a bit expensive) and found I was enjoying it more and more.
I have slipped up a few times, eating out as resturants is HARD as I am so used to going to chicken/steak route but have found that by avoiding animal products the range of foods I am tasting is VASTLY suprerior and has always made me a better cook, by forcing me to think outside my comfort zone.
Tofu Salads? Get in my face.
I slipped up at a friends house and had a cup of with cow milk for the first time in 3 weeks, and it honestly made me recoil. The cloying, overly pungent flavours of the milk meant I was unable to finish my tea (which literally never happens). I have been making oat milk lattes at home and they are pretty good as well! Tea with oatmilk still doesnt taste right, input is welcome.
I will slip up, and I will fail on the way, but I have been feeling much better about my inadvertent desicion.
I would encourage anyone on the fence to give Veganism a go, I am honestly so happy with my choice, and while im not so arrogant to claim I will be 100% animal product free instantly (i'm having a hard time letting go of cheese and honey, and the cheese alternatives are terrible).
Is Honey vegan by the way, on paper it's not but is it doing any harm?
Eating out, takeaways, any food-related social event. What do you do if steak isn't on the menu?
We are going to attempt the much less meat thing next year and just realised just about everything in our repertoire is meat based.
Any good online sources/ideas?
So Ive been in a long term relationship and after we got together I went vegan. He makes fun of me just like my family used to for when I used to be vegetarian. I brush it off but it happens semi often and isn't very respectful of my decision. He also hates any food that isn't meat or cheese and pretty much only eats stake or ribs which makes it hard to eat together. I never once forced my beliefs onto him but anytime I offer to share my food he refuses. Animal cruelty documentaries like dominion didn't phase him whatsoever so there is 0 chance he is going to try it out anytime soon. Any advice?
Scenario: In-laws are coming through. One parent has declared veganism while the other maintains a strict diet of "meat, potatoes, gravy" type foods (not very adventurous).
What are your favorite places to go that have a little bit of everything?
I am interested to know what health issues you have all fixed or reduced with this WOE. I see a lot of people saying they have reduced inflammation but I don't understand what that really means. Also, I believe I may have histamine intolerance, has anyone felt better after doing this WOE?
I just don't feel well, other than being fat, I have joint pain, back pain, my joints crack almost everytime I move, my face goes red all the time, my legs are puffy, my joints also feel puffy and swollen, I have acid reflux, heart palpitations, I can't breathe out of my nose because it's so blocked... it goes on and on.
Also, does beef kidney capsules really help?
Hey guys, I know you can order carnivorous meals at almost any restaurant but I was wondering if you had any favorites around town!!! Just trying to expand my horizon
I know there is some beef going on between the carnivor and vegan guys, so I just wanted to add my 2 cents from being a former active member in the r/carnivore subreddit.
So I was/am moderately depressed and some major gut issues I wanted to adress. I got persuaded initially by Jordan and Mikhaila Peterson because the only beef diet seemed to work for her especially. Being desperate for a cure, I eventually bought into all the crazy theories of the carnivor lifestyle and started the diet.
I want to keep it short, so essentially I tried it out for 1 month and became severely underweight, dizzy all the time and pretty much miserable all the way. Then I seeked validation in the r/carnivore sub asking for help and describing my bad reactions to the diet. The moderators immediately banned me from posting there and started to question the validity of my diseases and then got really fucking hostile.
I guess what I am saying, is that the people there really really filter out the negative reactions to the diet and only let pass the positive ones. As a consequence people fall into this crap way too deep, even when being fucking miserable on the diet.
This was my first and hopefully last experience participating in a cult. I always thought I would be immune to this shit, but I guess desperate people succumb to desperate shit.
