A list of puns related to "Cad Bane"
Since we haven't seen their dead bodies (we've seen only their sticks) many people are speculating they might be alive. If they are alive this matter is still to be solved on screen during this season. They might have been either captured or they might have escaped (I doubt that personally). If they were captured, they are now in hands of the Pykes and Cad Bane may be most likely working for the Pykes.
Cad Bane is ruthless, so he could use those 2 captives to provoke Boba. I think Boba needs to experience some siginificant loss to unleash his true self so we can see him getting his hands dirty.
I decided Iβll start posting my shower thoughts for this game. For the record Iβm a 4.9 million GP player with nearly two galactic legends (JMLS and soon Kenobi).
Anyways. The first of these thoughts is a buff for Cad Bane.
The Problem: Arguably the fourth most iconic bounty hunter in Star Wars, Cad Bane in SWGOH is relegated to a Galactic Legend requirement at best. Heβs lacking a zeta and is not good at PVP or PVE focused content. His Kit on paper is decent. Good recovery when he inflicts debuffs, and a 50% chance to lower his cooldowns when he critically hits. The issue is that his only special ability is his stun glove, which, while it does strip away a targetβs max protection, is just a half decent stun that doesnβt provide much utility outside of a few niche scenarios.
The solution: A new special ability that inflicts debuffs to trigger Cad Baneβs recovery, while also having a lengthy cooldown that can be mitigated through critical hits on his basic.
Special Ability: βDeadeyeβ Deal physical damage to all enemies. Inflict vulnerable, stagger, and daze for two turns on any critical hit. For each critical hit, Cad Bane gains 5% critical chance and critical damage (stacking, max 50%). If every enemy was critically hit, all bounty hunter allies gain 40% turn meter. Cooldown: 10 turns.
This ability should lean into the βgunslingerβ style of Cad Baneβs character whilst providing turn meter for a bounty hunter team. The debuffs should be enough to keep Cad relevant in PVP, whilst the stacking bonuses and turn meter are more aimed at Dark Side Territory Battles.
CG, feel free to steal any and all of this.
Edit: Glad to see the response. I think theorycrafting and game design is a really fun field to think about when youβre bored. Doing some further thought on this, I realized that this specialβs critical hits will reduce its own cooldown, and with a potential to reduce it by five, I think it makes more sense to give it a cool down of twelve turns, up from my original thought of ten.
I hope Cad Bane doesn't appear in The Book of Boba Fett because by the time of TBoBF Cad Bane would be pretty old and past his prime and if he was to appear he would be on the side of the Pykes as a bodyguard to protect them or to kill Boba but he would be way old by this point so I think it would be a much better idea for him to reapper in The Bad Batch S2 as still after Omega for the bounty and Boba would appear after the bounty aswell but Tech would probally recognize him in a confrontation and they explain that Omega is technically his sister and then he would agree to help them and eventually Boba and Cad Bane would fight and Cad Bane dies.
So everyone keeps theorizing that Bane is going to join Boba as hired muscle, but I strongly disagree. I canβt imagine Cad Bane working for anyone as enlightened as Boba. Fuck, itβs honestly pretty hard for me to imagine him not taking lead.
So I have said this a lot in multiple different threads, but I thought I would put it on a post but hereβs how I think this is gonna go
I think at the end of the episode they are going to reveal that Cad Bane is actually leading the Pykes. In the following episode, we are going to get a flash back sequence where young Boba left Bane for dead on Kessel after a mission went wrong. After years of being a slave, he managed to take control of the syndicate and secretly ran things behind the shadows
Remember that the bad batch is honestly the latest story we have of Cad Bane. He has never shown up in any of the stories following that series. Secretly running a crime syndicate while most of the galaxy thinks he is dead could explain why.
Cad Bane has always been a fantastic but unused parallel to Boba. This just fits with that narrative
My Bounty Hunter team consists of Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Jango Fett, Bossk and Cad Bane. Which other Bounty Hunter should I use instead of Cad Bane if any at al.
With the, correct me if iβm wrong, 50 something year old character (at the time) being confirmed alive following last years Bad Batch series, would he not be too old to make an appearance in the newest Boba Fett series?
The only thing I could find suggesting a lifespan for an average male Duros is around 70 years old.
Would Cad Bane not be well into his late 70βs or early 80βs by the time the Boba series takes place?
Seeing that his reputation speaks for himself, how much do you think he would charge?
In a match to the death, no bfr, opponents have background knowledge of each other. Cad Bane is equipped with all of his weaponry and gadgets Kylo has his light saber
Battle takes place in Teth where Bane fought Obi Won and Vos
Who wins and why?
How many of you were surprised to see Cad Bane return in "The Bad Batch" after being absent for the past nine years?
I know heβs a big part of the clone wars but would he have been alive during the era the original trilogy took place?
They faced off twice in TCW; the first time, Bane overpowered her, the second time, technically a draw... do you think she wouldβve learned from the past two experiences?
I was really hoping that in the Book of Boba Fett would include Cad Bane somehow. I had always wanted the infamous cut showdown between Boba and Cad. If it was live action just imagine how much more epic it would be.
Anyways with the direction of the last three episodes of Boba i lost hope that he would make an appearance until I remembered that Filoni is directing episode 6. I hope that episode 6 is a long flashback episode showing Boba and Cads final job together before the duel.
I've been wanting to buy the Cad Bane and Todo 360 Black Series figures. Is it reasonable to expect a re-stocking anytime soon? Or should I just give up on the exclusive and buy Cad Bane alone without his little friend.
As far as I know, the standoff between Cad Bane and Boba Fett is canon, and that resulted in the dent on Boba's Helmet, and Bane shot Hunter with that same pistol. How could a blaster so strong it could dent Beskar couldn't penetrate Hunter's armour?
Since we didnβt get the episode finalized on the SWTCW does anyone think Cad Bane will make an appearance in the Book of Boba Fett or Iβm just stupid. I really want more screen time of Cad Bane heβs my top 3 favorite Star Wars character
