Was wondering if I could use a Carbon Fiber Brush and grounding resistors (2 x 470 k) to ground the equipment under test (EUT). The EUT would be tested with to discharges up to 25kV.

I’m scared this is a start of a miscarriage? Mucus plug? I’m terrified. I’ve been feeling so sick all day and so tired. I am just waiting for the cramping to start…

Kind of freaking out but hoping it’s just old blood or something? I recently stopped syringing (but started loosely again) and recently started brushing the extraction site areas. I have mild pain still but more just annnoying aches or jaw stiffness. The last couple days I seem to get some mucus-y brownish (like dark, old blood tinted) stuff in my spit. Seems to be maybe coming from this one specific tooth. But it’s not swollen or causing more pain than the other areas. Any thoughts? The doc told me to just pick up another syringe and give it a few days. But I’m just nervous because I’ve had blood when I brush before in my lifetime but never brown? Should I not be brushing the sites yet or something? Ugh!

I'm just a volunteer and I'm seeing people dying (or at least dying quicker) due to short-staffing. I had a really horrible experience today on my shift that I wanted to share.

A sobbing woman came up to the desk when I was literally the only one at the nurse's station because everyone was with patients. I was juggling transfers for about four calls at the time so I didn't notice she was upset and crying for a second.

She asked if she could talk to the charge nurse or a social worker or someone with power to transfer or discharge a patient. Her mother, who is hospitalized for CHF exacerbation at 80ish and otherwise pretty good health for her age (no obesity, diabetes, cancer, etc, just an old lady whose heart is giving out), hasn't had meds or vitals or breakfast or anything done since the daughter had gotten there at 7 am. It was around 11 am when she spoke with me.

She wanted to pull her out of treatment and sent her to a hospice instead of continuing to suffer on the floor. I did my best and tried to comfort her and got her mom a sandwich at least, but what the fuck else am I supposed to do? 5 nurses and 2 techs between 30ish patients on a stepdown cardiac unit. We've got transport and patient safety people helping with vitals and basic tasks like bedsore turning and helpijg people brush their teeth or go to the bathroom between their actual jobs it was so short-staffed today. I can't actually do anything to help them other than get water and blankets, keep stuff stocked, do charts, and whatever other busywork needs doing. I just wanted to cry with this lady for her mom but there were calls to transferred, patients to get water for, and everything else. The day moves on.

I let the charge nurse know in the hallway and she started tearing up and just went on break in the staff room. I called SW and the woman on the phone sighed and sounded exhausted. I spent the rest of my shift helping our TWO TECHS restock linens and clean out rooms because we're also down janitorial staff. It's been getting worse pretty much my entire time volunteering, but this is as bad as I've seen it. Everyone is one inch from breaking point and there's nothing I can do to help except offer to break down charts or wipe down wheelchairs.

I’d really like to utilize this discount before I quit to buy the 21° framing nailer, angle grinder, and a (separate) combo pack that includes the hammer drill, impact, sawzall, flashlight, and they’ll throw in the 6.5” framing saw with 2-3ah batteries for my cost of ≈ $420.

Sorry this post wound up longer than intended

I woke up on New year's Day in the afternoon, feeling hungover. I hadn't been drinking because I'd been feeling sick for a few days so I thought it was weird, but I kind of left it at that. I started to make a coffee, my side and my leg were hurting, but I'd fallen over because of a wobbly leg going to the toilet in the night so again I just brushed it off as nothing.

A few hours later and I was watching a YouTube livestream of some baby ducklings hatching and the pain had started to get a bit worse and I was a bit dizzy. I thought maybe my cramps were out of sync and I was just unfortunate enough to have a second period this month. (It happens). I told my friend (who visited for Christmas) that I was going to finish watching the stream and have a nap.

Part of the way through the video, my friend asked me if I wanted a cup of tea and I said "no thank you" Then he said he was ordering my favourite fried chicken and I said no thanks again. He thought maybe, because I was watching the baby ducks, I'd want something else, but I again said no thank you. He phoned the non emergency ambulance service because he'd never seen me refuse food or a cup of tea in the whole time I'd known him and I thought he was being over dramatic and rolled over to yet again try to see the ducks before my nap.

Two paramedics came in and asked me a million questions. I kept insisting that it was probably just gas or another period. I get this pain all the time and it's usually nothing. One of them pressed on my stomach and the next thing I know I was being dragged into the ambulance (thank fuck I'm in England).

I had to stay in hospital overnight and sleep with a cannula in my arm, which, usually would have set off my anxiety to a level I'd not like to think about, but I was just so tired. I still couldn't sleep though because medical staff were zooming around me and worrying and fussing. I wasn't really with it enough to really understand what was happening, but suddenly it was the next day and after an ultrasound, a CT and an x-ray, a doctor with a clipboard approached me and said "something something surgery something" and I basically just said "I have no idea what is happening, but go ahead" and signed the little box.

Turns out it was appendicitis.

I was being wheeled towards surgery and I very abruptly told everyone to stop what they were doing because I hadn't washed my hands in a few hours and I NEEDED to go wash my hands. I'

Elliott (34 White male) and I (teen Black female) have known each other since late September and I talked about him In another post on here. A little back story; Elliott was in the Marines He served and got a not so honorable discharge which now leaves him with PTSD and a hero complex.

I listened because I thought that was what he needed . He always cut me off when I talked. I didn't say much when we talked. He had said the n word more than once twice and an 'A' and one with an 'R' he had even admitted to getting cornrows and beads in his hair in high school. He has commented on the features that have to do with my race saying he liked how my lips were big or how my hair is puffy saying it was "sexy"

I cut off our friendship after trying to get him to hate me. So we just didn't follow each other on Instagram and barely talked. I was simply tired of him bringing up things about me like my weight, my mentality, my mental health, and a bad thought I act on.

This leads to today; I had some drama that happened and figured I wanted to tell him because we hadn't talked much. We talked just fine until he brought up how I could decorate my new room since my family moved. I told him there was no point as I wouldn't be there as I would be at military academy though I won't be joining a branch and he had told me that the academy would be good for me because it would help me "grow up" I brushed it off since it's the most unoriginal jab he has. He asked where the school was and I told him it was in the same state then told him what I want to do after.

He asked if I was gonna go to college and I told him I didn't know. He told me I'd have to pick and make that "adult decision" and I joked saying "well you're an adult make the decision for me" and he asked where I wanted to go naming some places. I said I'd go anywhere as long as I wasn't on a plane. He was chuckling as he asked the question : "is it because you're more.... Heavyset? I tried to put that in the nicest way possible". I quickly became angry since I just had a fear of planes and heights I told him that he was also fat so he didn't get to bring up my weight or me at all and to worry about himself because he is a fat, ugly balding, bitch that works and Applebee's and lives with his mom.

He told me this is the first time he's brought up my weight when it wasn't. It did nothing but make me more angry. I cussed him out saying how ugly he was and it eventually turned to bringing up deaths in his family be

Him and I did long distance the entire time up until recently due to him being in the military. He discharged and came home a few months ago and last night, two days after I introduced him to the entire family at Thanksgiving, he fell asleep with his phone unlocked. I’ve always had a gut feeling that something was going on in his Snapchat because he would never open them around me. When I mean multiple I mean at least 6 and possibly more I didn’t see. I confronted him and he broke down crying and started literally throwing up. He said that he would only ask these girls for photos and admitted to doing it just to see if he could get them. He swore that he never physically cheated on me, and part of me wants to believe that because I couldn’t really find any evidence of that happening, but I am so shocked and hurt. He said that he knows he has a problem and talks about it in therapy and begged me to stay with him. He said he would do anything to keep me and we went through and blocked every girl. I told him that I would give him a final chance because I genuinely thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with him. I can’t help but feel like I might be making the wrong decision. I don’t know what do to. He kept the photos of these girls saved in Snapchat the entire time he was talking to me. I just don’t understand it. I’ve been cheated on in the past but never like this. I’m so close with his family and deep down I don’t want to break up. But I’m so hurt. This is our first major fight.

After spending months seeing people constantly ask what kind of upgrades their 1/16 E-Revos need, what kind of suspension setups people recommend, and seeing how many varied and contradictory answers end up being posted... it all has led me to write this.

A QUICK DISCLAIMER: I don't mean to scare any prospective owners away from owning one of these little buggers. They're great trucks that perform very well out of the box. Most of these upgrades make the vehicle objectively "better" but realistically speaking, you don't need any of them. This guide is intended for people who enjoy upgrading their vehicles as much as I do – keep in mind that most of what is suggested below is purely subjective and my personal preference, formed after extensive research and experimentation. The Revo platform is often misunderstood – it’s what I like to call a terrain basher, designed to be driven quickly on uneven ground, and NOT driven roughly on uneven terrain. It was NOT designed with jumping in mind – that’s not to say you shouldn’t jump it, but be prepared, if you do, it WILL break. Traxxas calls it a monster truck but really, it’s a hybrid between a short course truck (low CG and slim chassis, plush suspension) and a monster truck (raised ride height, big wheels and tires, insane suspension travel). It’s a very versatile platform which can be driven in pretty much any type of terrain. The "tune" I propose below is a versatile setup mainly intended for general purpose "bashing" on pavement, low traction surfaces and with minor jumping (sub 5 meters) in mind. People have different driving styles and needs so this setup will not suit everyone.

A common misconception I’d initially like to address concerns the use of aluminum parts. Avoid them as much as you possibly… aluminum arms may look cool, but they’re heavy, expensive and will deform irreversibly in the case of a strong impact – you will NOT be able t

The night before, the two eastern ships had only relocated ten miles. Seeing some measure of success, the Joint Defense Force decided to repeat the day before with similar forces. The fighting was a brutal as the previous day’s and carried the same high cost.

The idea that we should just evacuate ahead of the aliens and give them whatever they wanted began to gain ground across the United States. The loudest proponents were those who felt they were out of the path of the alien ships.

The buses carrying the Aussies and Kenyans pulled over just northwest of Clayton, NM just after 10 a.m. The soldiers had been watching streams of vehicles evacuating the entire ride from Albuquerque. They were somber as they formed up beside the road.

“OK, listen up you blokes,” Colonel Lindemin said, voice aided by a bullhorn. “There!” he pointed to the massive shape hulking two miles away, “Is our objective! It’s hard to miss! Our job is to have battlelines formed by 11:45 local time!” He looked at this watch, “It is now 10:21. So, let’s get our assess in gear!”

As they dug into the rocky desert, the soldiers heard explosions from the distant town as the aliens began to rout any stragglers. They dug into the desert soil quicker - trying to ignore the smoke beginning to rise from Clayton.

“Not a lot of cover out here,” A Kenyan corporal observed as they finished settling their position.

Wow guys, what a wild ride!

My first birth involved broken waters with no contractions and 21 hrs of unmedicated labor with Pitocin (took forever for contractions to pick up) plus another couple hours with the epidural. Pushed for 45 mins and she was finally born 23.5 hrs after my water broke.

Her brother was a COMPLETELY different experience.

I had been dilated to a “stretchy 3cm” and about 50% effacement since 38 weeks. [Side note: when I begged for the epidural at my daughter’s birth it was after a nurse checked me after hours of painful contractions and announced I was only 3cm dilated.] I spent 2 weeks thinking it could happen at any moment and was feeling antsy as my due date (12/12) approached.

Early on the morning of 39+6, my husband and I both randomly woke up around 1:45am and ended up having sex. Around 2:30am I had my first contraction, and it immediately felt different from the Braxton Hicks/prodromal labor I had been experiencing previously (only slightly more painful at first, but that tightening sensation seemed sooo much stronger). I let a few of these contractions come and go before I decided to roll over and try timing them.

The first contraction I entered into my app was at 2:54am and lasted 49 seconds. They came regularly 4 mins apart, then 3.5 mins apart by 3:30. Around this time I woke up my husband and let him know that I thought this was the real deal but to just relax and sleep because contractions (at the time) were not very painful and sometimes only lasting 20-30 seconds. I laid back down in bed with him and fell asleep off and on between contractions for about an hour, and then I began needing to breathe through them. I got out of bed again around 4:45am and did my makeup, brushed my teeth, and packed up the final items I needed in my hospital bag.

At 5:15ish I began to feel things really pick up, and suddenly contractions were intermittently 2.5-3mins apart and lasting for a full minute. Up until that point, they were definitely painful but still pretty irregular in length/spacing (anywhere from 20-50 seconds) so I didn’t think we needed to rush. But I had a contraction on the toilet that made me poke my head out of the bathroom and say to my still-sleeping husband, “You should start doing what you need to do to get ready to leave.” I also texted my mom (sleeping in the next room with my toddler) that it was baby day and we were heading to the hospital soon.

i thought i would make a post of things you should be aware of or buy.

spares

rc cars break, its part of the hobby so buy some spares, every car has different weak points but ones i always see going are;if a car has plastic drive shafts get a few spares

spare spur/pinon gear, if the spur is plastic probs a good idea to grab a couple

in arrma cars ive seen a lot of people who strip a diff so id grab a new sun and input gear

for traxxas ive seen a lot of spur gears go so defo pick up a spare (also seen issues with the esc`s but just run until something goes wrong and decided if you want an upgrade)

tools

i can not stress enough how important nice tools are, i love my arrow max hex drivers and id recommend them to anyone getting into the hobby, if you want something even nicer mips do VERY nice tools.

as well as a set of hex drivers id get something for the wheel nuts too, having a well fitting tool can save a lot of pain from rounding a wheel nut.

i would NOT recommend using cheep Allen keys as they tend to have a lose fit so can strip the head off a bolt very easily which leads to a world of hurt, also they are not very ergonomic.

if you get really into working on your own stuff a light electric screw driver and some nice hex bits (again im using arrow max bits) is very useful for undoing stuff but not for tightening stuff up as it makes stripping plastic threads far too easy, ask me how i know.

if you work on your own eclectics, ie swapping plugs and such get a helping hands, they make holding stuff in place so much more easy, and there is no way to hold a metal connector by hand as you solder to it

upgrades

if you have just bought a car id not worry about upgrades, i like to upgrade stuff as i break the parts.

but if you do want to do some upgrades a nice first upgrade is the tires, if you cant put the power down or get round a corner then no other upgrade matters just make sure they are round the same size and off set (going wider can put more stress on hubs and kill bearings faster and too narrow can lead to the rims contacting the car) and most importantly that the hex is the same size as this is the part that hold them to the car.

If you are cracking a-arms then look to see if RPM makes parts for your car, their plastics are great, they have a little more flex so tend to last much longer than stock stuff.

avoid "upgrading" plastic suspension parts like a-arms to metal as these part

This timeline is for the fanfiction, "Summoning India", which is currently being written. It does not describe what is going to happen, but what happened before the teleportation event. This would help give anyone a brief understanding of this Alternate India from 2000, so that no one gets confused with the IRL one.

And yes, I know this is like a bio chapter but hey, I don't want people coming to me and being like, "Hey India had Su-30MK in the year 2000, not the F-16! And why is India using the M113 and not the BMP-1/2!!!"

*Update #3: his doctor just called and said he doesn't believe the negative test results...so he's asking for us to take another blood test.

Update #2: so we got his blood test results back for HSV1 and HSV2 both NEGATIVE. I did not get a chance to take him to do a swab test because our urgent care had a long line and by the time Monday came around to ask his physician his ulcers had cleared up. I guess the only thing I can do now is wait to see if he has another break out or test him again in the future thank you all so much!

Hey guys, before I go into a long post I just want to say I have gone to two doctors and a dentist already. just posting here to hear some thoughts on the situation.

So last week I was taking my son to preschool (this was his third day at a new school) and on the way he got carsick(motion sickness is common in our family) so I took him home to clean him up and then took him into school for the rest of the day. his teacher called about 3 hours later and said he wasn't eating and didn't want to play. I picked him up and he looked so exhausted but then was fine once I he relaxed at home. the next day on Friday, I kept him home because he did in fact have a fever of 101 and then I also noticed a little bump on the tip of his tongue. over the weekend his health plummeted I was so scared for him. He developed multiple mouth sores all in his mouth and a few bumps around his mouth. He refused to eat but also refused to let me brush his teeth so his gums had become irritated and swollen as well. He also had diarrhea the whole time. no bumps on his hands and feet the whole weekend but on Wednesday his right hand did show slights red dots but not a rash or bumps. As soon as he got sick I shortly followed with fever, diarrhea and sore throat.

So I take him to the ER on Monday because I was worried he was dehydrated but the doctor there said he looks fine and that it just looks like bad oral hygiene... ok I thought that wasn't helpful at all because we take care of his mouth but his mouth sores progressed so fast over the weekend. so then I take him to the dentist, his dentist says the same thing and that he isn't able to do anything that day because he didn't want to make my son more uncomfortable..ok that's fine I understand that. then I take him to his physician and as soon as he walks in he just says "ah yes your three year old has herpes, I can write you a prescription to help" I f

There hasn't been a post all year!

So I guess I'm gonna start from the time I went to the hospital in 2015. Apparently I had high blood pressure and it was disecting my aorta. I was rushed into surgery to save my life. I was out for two weeks but within that time I had what I called nightmares. But, it was two straight weeks of complete terror.

Sometime I experienced myself in my everyday life but each vision,dream or nightmare always ended in the very hospital I was in. Sometime I woke I'm the morgue surrounded by bodies while I was yelling to get attention and nobody could hear me. Other times I was in a completely different life but, I was still me. One I was a rich entrepreneur nightclub owner. I am not the nightclub type.

Other times I was a soldier in Iraq separated from my platoon. I was captured and tortured and forced to denounce America. Another dream I was trapped in a strange restaurant that I owned and ran. Anyway let me digress.

When I finally came to I just wanted to see my wife. The nurse said that she was coming and should be there any minute. My wife did end up coming and when I saw her I knew it was her but, she looked different. Her weight had changed and so did her voice. Our memories were mostly on par with slight differences. I just wrote it off as perception of events and carried on waiting to be released so I could go home and finally feel safe.

So as I was discharged and sent home with a huge amount of medication and new life rules to live by. So they wheeled me down to my wife's car but, only it wasn't the car I remembered. She owned a Hyundai Tucson but, this new car was Chevy Equinox. I only knew it was her because I could see her get out to help me in the car. I asked her when she got the new car and she said she hadn't.

We get home and she helps me out and into the house. At this point everything else looked normal. Same furniture, same color walls. So I began to brush things off again figuring I would eventually circle back to what I have noticed. I asked where the dogs were and she said she put them out so they won't jump on me because if my chest incision. So he got me upstairs and put me in bed and turned on the TV and, that's when I started to notice more strange things and, this stuff can not be a perception problem.

Okay to make this as short as I can, I already have hysterectomy scheduled for the 21st of this month. I am on day 4 of what I am hoping will be the last period I ever have to endure and I have suspected endo. Y’all I am freaking out here. My period this time has been he’s her than ever. I mean at one point I bled out past an ultra tampon in less than 30 minutes. The heaviness lasted a couple of hours and then tapered off some. Today I began bleeding heavy again, an ultra lasted me about an hour maybe a little past that and I went to pee noticed I was leaking so I took out my tampon to change it and when I pulled it out a huge blood clot fell out of me, or at least I hope it was that it was blood red and was about the size of a ping pong ball. Now here I am laying on the couch with my legs up in the air, fighting gravity feeling like my insides are trying to kill me, debating an ER trip.

I don’t know what to do but I’m scared and also worried the ER will just brush it off.

Looking for words of encouragement or y’all’s thoughts.

Editing to add that I am now at the ER where I changed my tampon and it slid right out of me with a slight pull as it was drenched in blood and blood clots and straight after another large blood clot fell out. My cramps are getting worse and the bleeding isn’t slowing. Hoping they take me serious.

I am home from the ER. I feel the for the staff that was working it was sort of busy when I got there but quickly became to where there was no room left for people to sit. They did ultrasounds, bloodwork, urinalysis, EKG (my chest was hurting) and they said that everything looked good. No cysts, fibroids or any ovarian torsion. I hadn’t lost too much blood either even though I I felt like I was bleeding to death. The doc wrote me a script for Norco and told me to follow up with my GYN, so I’m calling him Monday. I cannot wait for my hysterectomy. They also gave me fentanyl as I was being discharged. Now that I’ve showered and finally ate something, I’m in bed with the heating pad and watching Jersey Girl. Counting the days until my uterus gets evicted.

I met April (not her real name) at a state psychiatric hospital in 2018. I was there for 5 months, she was there for a year. We have been friends for 3 years.

Since discharge, we have kept in touch. I have recovered, got a good job, and a nice apartment. In August I visited her (she lives an hour away) and we had a great time until we went back to her parent's house and I used the bathroom. It was so disgusting thinking about it makes me want to gag. I had to wake her up every morning she was here so we could follow the agenda which included going out to eat, going to the museum, etc.

On Tuesday I woke her up because I had bought tickets to see Spiderman. She didn't get up until an hour later. I changed the showtimes but we had to leave halfway through the movie because I had to go to work. I was extremely pissed.

She also sat on my couch and put her feet up with the shoes still on. When I confronted her she said it was normal and her family did that all the time.

I was embarrassed to be out in public with her because her clothes didn't fit and her butt crack would show.

A QUICK DISCLAIMER: I don't mean to scare any prospective owners away from owning one of these little buggers. They're great trucks that perform very well out of the box. Most of these upgrades make the vehicle objectively "better" but realistically speaking, you don't need any of them. This guide is intended for people who enjoy upgrading their vehicles as much as I do – keep in mind that most of what is suggested below is purely subjective and my personal preference, formed after extensive research and experimentation. I highly recommend you experiment on your own - this guide is simply meant to nudge you in the right direction. There is no "perfect setup", it's all about what YOU want and what YOU like.

If you want to extract everything this platform has to offer, read on! If you just want to have fun... you might as well skip this.

The Revo platform is often misunderstood – it’s what I like to call a terrain basher, designed to be driven quickly on uneven ground, and NOT driven roughly on uneven terrain. It was NOT designed with jumping in mind – that’s not to say you shouldn’t jump it, but be prepared, if you do, it WILL break. Traxxas calls it a monster truck but really, it’s a hybrid between a short course truck (low CG and slim chassis, plush suspension) and a monster truck (raised ride height, big wheels and tires, insane suspension travel). It’s a very versatile platform which can be driven in pretty much any type of terrain. The "tune" I propose below is a versatile setup mainly intended for general purpose "bashing" on pavement, low traction surfaces and with minor jumping (sub 5 meters) in mind. People have different driving styles and needs so this setup will not suit everyone.

A common misconception I’d initially like to address concerns the use of aluminum parts. Avoid them as much as you possibly… aluminum arms may look cool, but they’re heavy, expensive and will deform irreversibly in the case of a strong impact – you will NOT be able
