A list of puns related to "Brazilian real"
My app doesn't show fiat option to top up Visa Card. This was working normally last week. I have BRL on my fiat wallet. A friend has the same problem and a lot of brazilian users are leaving negative comments on Play Store because this issue. Costumer Service ask to reset phone, clean cache, reinstall app etc., but the problem is not solved. I can trade BRL for USDC and top up USDC, but this add like 1,1% spread...
What is happening? Is it a bug or BRL top ups are really suspended? If so, why? When this will be solved?
Edit: problem solved after today's (3-jan-22) update from Play Store.
Something that comes up from time to time is how Rio de Janeiro feels Cyberpunk, how it's a city of social constrats etc., even Mike Pondsmith made remarks how the city inspired the lore. However there is one thing, one tradition the city has which involves clowns that I just realized is somewhat similiar to the concept of the Bozos gang.
In the suburbs of Rio, during the Carnival, there is tradition of dressing like a flamboyant pierrot with a clown mask. We call it the bate-bola. It literally translates to Ball Beater, because they carry a stick with a ball hanging by a thread, which they use to hit the floor. This started as a child thing in the 40s, each street had a crew that would go terrorize the neighborhoods. So, when people grew, you can guess how this evolved, or better, how it didn't: adults kept doing the same things, and for criminals it's the perfect excuse to wear a mask without raising alarm.
With time, this rendered them a weird reputation. Nowadays it continues as a popular costume, but to see a group of them is a reason to be scared, you never know what to expect, pranks, mugging, bullying, who the fuck knows.
So, yes, during carnival, if you hear the clatter of a group of clowns hitting balls on the floor, run β cause they might be real life Bozos.
Things I forgot to add:
2 The bate-bolas masks evolved to demonic clown faces.
There was a time not long ago when the Brazilian Ronaldo was referred to as the βReal Ronaldoβ. Cristiano was treated like a cheap knock off and nothing more than a showboating pony.
Given Cristianoβs crazy goal scoring record and massive stash of trophies (pritty much everything except the World Cup which the Brazilian Ronnie has).
Can we now say that Cristiano is the βReal Ronaldoβ? If so, which season did this happen?
And just to make things interesting, which Ronaldo would you have as your number 9?
A question I never get tired of asking.... What happened to the Brazilian avakin? Our page doesn't have any more content, we don't have any more creativity contests, we don't have any more selection of content creators... Anyway, there are several things that have the need to return to the community!! I make this appeal not for myself, but for several avakins who one day dream of collaborating together with the community and make it more active!! Review people who have the willpower to do something in favor, and review who is and doesn't do anything!!I don't deny it, I'm one of those who dream of one day collaborating in some way with the community, and making it more transparent...
