22F 180 cm 100 kg White/caucasian Scandinavia, Sweden Non- smoker and drinker. Although using tobacco and nicotine 'snus' on daily basis Meds: Regular - antidepressants SSRI & tricyclic (escitalopram 20mg & mianserin 30mg), stimulants for adhd (Vyvanse 70 mg and dexedrine 5mg x3). Periodwise using quetiapine in a range from 25-150 mg to relieve paranoia related anxiety night time as I have psychotic tendencies. Taking pramipexol 0,18 mg occasionally for my severe RLS when symtoms appear. Recreationally sigh doing speed.
Anyhow, um. I had some kind of hand trauma back in 2017 and went to the hospital to do an x-ray. The doctor had to discuss with another orthopedic in another hospital and came to the conclusion that it was a boutonnière (button hole) deformity in the PIP and DIP joints. He was unsure of the treatment and put a cast on it for two weeks to see if anything changed but it didn't. Since then I've had limited function and strength in the left part of my hand but it hasn't really bothered me much as I'm right handed. If I need to carry anything I'm often able to do so with my thumb/index/middle finger or else I'll hang bags on my wrist.
Well, it has worked well until today. Since I was grocery shopping with mom and carried two heavy bags from the car to the apartment two stories up I've got such pain and discomfort in this finger. It's tingling and burning from the bottom knuckles on my little and ring finger out to the tip of my affected finger. I noticed it being swollen if I'm not mistaken and it doesn't react to much pain stimulus given in the area. What should I do? Or more importantly, should I do anything at all? I mean it's just a finger and I'm afraid they won't be able to help me whatsoever because it'd be too complicated going in there when the tendons are so small. At least that's what they said when I was there but yeah, it was a couple of years back now.

Are groomsmen boutonnières really necessary? My fiancé and father (who’s walking me down the aisle) will have them, but I’m not sure if it’s worth $15 extra for each. But would it look too plain?
