A list of puns related to "Boman Irani"
Is anyone constantly getting that boman irani ad on twitch every time I open twitch his annoying face comes up.
Even when I change channels he shows up with that ad.Is it happening with everyone or just me
This might not surprising to people who know but I'm a little surprised
Appreciation for one of the underrated actor.. he can pull of serious roles like in Parmanu, comedy roles like Houseful series, negative roles like in Don series.. but his best performances have been as the dean in Munnabhai MBBS and virus in 3 idiots. I donβt think thereβs anyone else whoβd I imagine in these roles. Basically a guy whoβs for all seasons, all roles, all movies. What do you think ??
I have been rewatching a lot of old movies and Boman Irani has been in many of them and each film he has a different character and persona he creates. He makes me laugh so much I mean how he does so many creative roles is so cool. He is in 3 idiots, Don 1 and 2, Main Hoon Na, Dostana and just so many more films where his characters change.
He plays the character of Kaizad Sodabottleopenerwala, i.e., the fat guy who insults the dean and his ideas in the end.
According to Wiki, he did two more films after SOTY, namely Youngistaan (2014) and The Legend of Michael Mishra (2016). It seems like he hasn't signed any movie ever since.
Do you think he could've been a good comedic actor if he had continued to do films? Sort of like Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal?

Read on the Inspirational Life Story of Boman Irani as he shared it with the Humans of Bombay.
βI lost my dad before I was born. He ran a wafer shop & after him, my mom took over. My sisters had school, so my mom had to leave me at the fire temple with the priestβs wife, while she ran a shop.Β
I watched her fighting alone, for years. Soon I started school, but I had speech & learning disabilities. I remember I had started singing to better my speech. And once at a performance, mom recorded the applause I got. It was so loud! I kept hearing it, it got my confidence back!
I studied science after school, but Iβd still take part in theatre & other arts. After college got over, I had to start contributing to the family. So I met the manager of a Taj hotel & asked for work at the rooftop restaurant. He said, βTo reach the top, you have to start from the bottom.β So he sent me to work in room service. Only after a year & a half did I become a waiter at that restaurant!Β Soon after, my mom met with an accident, so I quit my job & sat at the shop. And before I knew it, 14 years went by β during that time I met my wife, got married & even had kids. But throughout, something was amiss. So my wife encouraged me to explore.
I loved photography & my dad was a photographer too. So I tried that & after some struggle, I started doing well. At the time, a friend got me to audition for an ad. I did & I got selected! So I decided to pursue it & in a few years, I did over 180 ads & even some popular plays. I was also offered a short film. It had a low budget & was going to be shot on a Handycam, but for me, it was a golden opportunity!
My life changed completely when Vidhu Vinod Chopra saw a clip of the film. He got in touch & asked to meet me. When we met, he gave me a cheque of 2 lakhs to be in his next film. He didnβt even have a film yet, but he didnβt want me to become famous & not give him dates.Β Thatβs when Munnabhai MBBS happened & at 35, my dream career began. It was unexpected β but I grabbed the opportunity & didnβt let go. Itβs been an amazing journey, one that did put me through some turbulence. But through all the good, the bad & the ugly, I learned to keep my hopes up & more than anything, know that itβs never too late to start over!β
