Anyone know the story on how Bob McGrath was first invited to telemiracle?

/r/Bertstrips mocks the show Sesame Street on a daily basis. We put a perverted spin on the show and it's characters, but we do it because we find humor in doing so. Having grown up with the show and it's characters, we find amusement in lampooning it as adults. We do so out of satire, while not going out of our way to diminish the message it continues to send to children of all ages to this very day. So it is with a great deal of sadness that we acknowledge the departure of three iconic characters that many of us grew up with: Luis, Bob, and Gordon. All of whom will not be a part of Sesame Street after this season.

These men have been a part of Sesame Street for decades, and I truly lament the fact they will no longer be a part of the show moving forward. Bob McGrath, who is 84, has been a part of Sesame Street since it's very first season, which aired over 45 years ago. Emilio Delgago has been a cast member since 1971, and Roscoe Orman (who plays Gordon) has been a cast member since 1974. These three actors have spent the better part of the last 40 years educating us, our children, and our children's children. And sadly, their tenure has come to an end.

It is my hope that all of you who are reading this now will try and remember the impact these men have had on your lives, as well as the countless lives of children around the world, and celebrate their accomplishments. They have done phenomenal work, and have taught generations upon generations of children knowledge that will prepare them for life.

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, for financial reasons, I have to sell my entire game collection. A bundle of games, consoles, and accessories. The asking price for the complete collection is 9500 euros. The asking price is about 35-40% lower than the complete market value of the items. For more details on the games, I have an excel spreadsheet and can send more pictures.

(Price does not include shipping because this bundle will be shipped in the pallet, and it can vary greatly depending on the location of the buyer.)

I have an eBay seller account with good ratings, but at this point, the bundle's value is too high to be sold on my eBay account.

For local pick-ups, my postal code is 33100, Tampere, Finland.

I'll also post pictures of the package and send you a tracking number, and of course, the (package will be insured). I'll make sure that all packages are 100% secure. I pack every game, console, and accessories well. The games have been preserved out of sunlight in my office. The sealed games are stored in bubble wrap and inside a thick plastic bag in cardboard boxes. Inside the opened games, there is bubble wrap inside the covers to prevent the discs from moving in any way.

I am trying to sell this collection as one. So, no separate deals at this point.

Hey all. I've had this little interaction bouncing around my head for a bit, so I finally decided to write it down. First time posting a story, so I hope you enjoy.

The Hunter stared at the campfire; the crackling of the wood mixing with the jazz album her Ghost was playing. In her hands she held a faded ID. The laminate was peeling in the corners and the string that once attached it to its wearer frayed nearly to the point of disintegration. Still, it was probably her most prized possession. Maybe prized wasn’t the best word, but she couldn’t bring herself to throw it away.

“Tallo?” she asked quietly.

Her Ghost turned to her, bobbing slightly to the music. “Hmm?”

“Tell me again about how you found me?”

Tallo looked at her warmly. He had told her the story several times, it was a type of grounding ritual between them. Reflecting on where they started and how far they had come.

“Well, I was floating around the ruins of Philadelphia. It had been decades since I was created and oh boy, I had searched everywhere for my Guardian: from the settlements in the Andes, to the derriks of Old Texas. The farms of the Yuccatan, to the remains of the Manhattan Nuclear Zone.” He leaned in close. “That one was my least favorite.”

The Hunter chuckled but continued staring at the fire; her thumb grazing the ID’s face.

“So, there I was, floating down the boulevard, scanning everything in sight. I turned my eye and found myself at the foot of a grand building. Even after the Collapse, and all the years of abandonment and neglect, it still looked magnificent. I turned to continue checking the cars when I felt this pull. Even now, I can’t really describe it. It was like someone was pushing me towards the building. I stared in stunned silence,  frozen in place. Then I knew.”

Tallo floated down to look his Guardian in the eyes. She glanced up, face etched with a myriad of emotions.

“You were in there.”

The Ghost suddenly spun dramatically through the air, flying around the campfire. The smoke danced around him before billowing up to the sky.

“I don’t think there has ever been a Ghost who flew faster than I did. I literally smashed through a window. Like full on “CRASH”, right through the glass! With every passing moment, I felt the pull grow stronger. At one point, I wasn't even sure if I was moving, or if I was just being dragged along by this force. I zipped past paintings and sculptures, through corridors and checkpoints into the basement until I came across

A couple months after they made the channel, my mother sent me photos of some makeup and asked me if I knew what it was. Some of the stuff like Pat McGrath, Jeffree Star, Urban Decay, and Too Faced I was familiar with and let her know.

She then asked if I knew how much the items cost, and I gave her general estimates, ie a Jeffree Star palette is about 50 bucks. For the stuff I couldn't identify, I told her that since I didn't know the brand, I couldn't really say, because makeup varies widely depending on brand.

Well, apparently the stuff I identified came out to 450 dollars.

Unbeknownst to me, my sibling had just called our mom to say they couldn't make rent or food, and asked for 600 dollars. A week later they posted their makeup haul online.

You can guess how upset my mom was.

My sibling is upset because they feel I should have known this was about them, and that I told my mom the cost to get them in trouble.

I feel like I might be at fault because I should have stayed out of it and let my mom go to my sibling about makeup info.
