I was sure that I didn't receive any request but still I didn't confront them over call and told I will think over paid membership plan. Now as soon as I hang off the phone, I saw 6-7 notifications in app which was sent during last 5 minutes (when I was answering call from their marketing team) any else have similar experience?

I had a breakup 6 moths back and looking forward to more serious relationship now. I'm based out of Bangalore, India. Also I'm independent in choosing a person, with family criteria being minimal.
Since All of these sites have paid membership, can you Just me one? What are the pros and cons of major Indian Matchmaking sites and are there any other sites that are better than this?

Facts about me: Happiness lvl: 1.8 lpm at 30 Diet: super bike ride to office followed by chicken curry for lunch and KF for catch up with friends Delhi Belly size: not much but on special request can roll my belly like a bowl full of jelly Have an own house and car etc etc all those "material possessions" are there.
Problem: failed relationship two years ago, then focussed completely at work to forget it. Now it feels like I've woken up from a bad dream with a bad hangover. I've been searching for a suitor on the aforementioned sites and have been dealing with crap literally, it feels like I've been walking through the Kuuvam ( or sewage). Most of them reject me because my horoscope doesn't match theirs. I've walked away from a proposals too mostly because they weren't my type ( too enthusiastic or hyper). Now at 30 staring at my bedroom wall while waiting for the storm called 31 to hit. I don't know why is it so difficult for me to get a companion. I hate to be a guy who complains or looks at the dark side, but reality is like this.
My question to guys how hard is it for you to marry someone through this process? What's the success rate like? Should I leave those matrimony sites and branch out.

They have also not been shy of accepting defeat in cutting out and writing-off some of their investee companies.

Well I have tried tinder, ok cupid, bumble, shaadi.com, jeevansathi.com, bharatmatrimony.com. nothing seems to work out, I had dated during my college days for 2 years, after that my dating life became non existent. The sad thing is when I am matched on shaadi.com, jeevansathi.com I haven't connected with anyone of them intellectually, got rejected by 21 girls & have rejected 111 girls on shaadi, rejected 178 girls, got rejected by 2 on bharatmatrimony, went on 7-8 dates from tinder, 2 from bumble, 3 from dilmil ( app for usa desis). The date from dilmil whom I was matched, we dated for 1.5 years on/off but eventually the girl said she wants to marry from her region oly ( Bengali) & the one from tinder lasted 6 months, she started giving me 1 word for every conversation I broke it off, she returned after 6 months but told her to buzz off.
Most of the matches from matrimony look for guna matches/maanglik/non-English status/raahu dasha 😒😒😢😢 I am old school romantic trying to find my soulmate through many mediums,but as sima aunty from indian matchmaking says she can't help If the stars are not aligned, I am truly disappointed, angry with this indian society where you are not allowed to marry a different religion or caste even if it works out/ everything has worked out but just coz you don't speak their language ( hindi/kannada/guju/punjabi) parents doesn't approve/ now parents also have approved but guna matches has come less than 20/36 or rahu dasha some bs in one's natal chart.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
