A list of puns related to "Arthur Samuel"
Downstream on impassive rivers suddenly
I felt the towline of the boatmen slacken.
Redskins had taken them in a scream and stripped them and
Skewered them to the glaring stakes for targets.
Then, delivered from my straining boatmen,
From the trivial racket of trivial crews and from
The freights of Flemish grain and English cotton,
I made my own course down the passive rivers.
Blanker than the brain of a child I fled
Through winter, I scoured the furious jolts of the tides,
In an uproar and a chaos of Peninsulas,
Exultant, from their moorings in triumph torn.
I started awake to tempestuous hallowings.
Nine nights I danced like a cork on the billows, I danced
On the breakers, sacrificial, for ever and ever,
And the crass eye of the lanterns was expunged.
More firmly bland than to children apples’ firm pulp,
Soaked the green water through my hull of pine,
Scattering helm and grappling and washing me
Of the stains, the vomitings and blue wine.
Thenceforward, fused in the poem, milk of stars,
Of the sea, I coiled through deeps of cloudless green,
Where, dimly, they come swaying down,
Rapt and sad, singly, the drowned;
Where, under the sky’s hemorrhage, slowly tossing
In thuds of fever, arch-alcohol of song,
Pumping over the blues in sudden stains,
The bitter redness of love ferment.
I know the heavens split with lightnings and the currents
Of the sea and its surgings and its spoutings; I know evening,
And dawn exalted like a cloud of doves.
And my eyes have fixed phantasmagoria.
I have seen, as shed by ancient tragic footlights,
Out from the horror of the low sun’s mystic stains,
Long weals of violet creep across the sea
and peals of ague rattle down its slats.
I have dreamt the green night’s drifts of dazzled snow,
The slow climb of kisses to the eyes of the seas,
The circulation of unheard saps,
And the yellow-blue alarum of phosphors singing.
I have followed months long the maddened herds of the surf
Storming the reefs, mindless of the feet,
The radiant feet of the Marys that constrain
The stampedes of the broken-winded Oceans.
I have fouled, be it known, unspeakable Floridas, tangle of
The flowers of the eyes of panthers in the skins of
Men and the taut rainbows curbing,
Beyond the brows of the seas, the glaucous herds.
I have seen Leviathan sprawl rotting in the reeds
Of the great seething swamp-nets;
The calm sea disemboweled in watersli
I've already been digging through earlier posts with the same question, though I didn't really find what I was looking for.
I've fallen into a rabbit hole on YouTube after I got into analog photography; I think analog photography has a lot of great content on YouTube and I really enjoy watching this stuff. I find it as enjoyable and relaxing as educational. I really like the style of grainydays, Willem Verbeek, negativefeedback, Brae Hunziker... (Note: I don't necessarily watch those for the "masterclass photographs" or the LoFi beats....)
I seem to enjoy laid back, photography-focussed videos with a story, not (only) trying to sell me gear (except Squarespace subscriptions). It feels like you're talking about photography or going on a photo walk with a buddy.
I am trying to get back more into digital photography but I feel the (usual) channels geared towards digital are either often too "philosophical" (The Art Of Photography; The Photographic Eye;...) or too "energetic" (Peter McKinnon) for my likings.
So here's my question - are there any good YouTubers that do laid back, quality content about (digital) photography without too much sales-pitches, overly crazy lifestyles or getting deep into quasi-philosophy all the time that you could recommend?
Thanks for all the suggestions! Since there's so many - here's a list of the suggestions so far in no particular order other than when they were posted:

My old lists are feeling a little stale, so I’m looking for fresh ideas. I’d prefer no first initial repeats, and probably to stay away from “T” names as well, as both my husband and I share that initial. Oh, and most things ending in a “K” sound don’t work well with our surname.
So, what would YOU name a sibling for Ivy, Martin, Oscar, and June?
Thanks for your help!
We’re looking for a classic boy name with a well-known nickname for our son. I’ve come here before and gotten some great advice but every single name I like has already been used by someone (or someone’s) in our family. Another contender is my sister’s married last name which also feels hinky to me. It feels weird to give my baby a name that my cousin or my uncle has but I’m running out of thoughts.
Names we (most likely) cannot/ would not use for familial reasons:
Names we’re considering but don’t quite feel like the one:
Names not an option from my teaching background:
Any thoughts?

... keep reading on reddit ➡I am about to be 35 weeks with boy #2 and still clueless on what to name him. Our other son is William, which is a family name. My husband loves Viktor, but I really don’t. My top vote is Matthew but I don’t love it either. Would love some suggestions. My style leans towards timeless names but am open to just about anything at this point.

We currently have three children, a girl, Tate, and two boys, Henry and Michael, and are expecting another boy. We haven't been able to agree on anything yet that we could use.
Names we like but can't/won't use: Ezra, Asher, James, Ian, Peter, Alexander, William, Charles, Andrew, Matthew, Clark, Grant, Thomas, Theodore
We want a strong, classic name that isn't too overused. And of course, we want it to fit with the other kids' names.
As of right now, the only name we can agree on would be Beckett, nicknamed Kit, but I'm not in love with it.

We are just a couple months away from baby being here and still have not chosen a name for the boy. We both love the nicknames “Sam” and “Sammy” but not huge fans of Samuel, especially with the already chosen middle name Daniel (after a family member). It’s too rhymey.
Sibling names are Dexter, Kara and Robert. Last name rhymes with Sox. Husband is Irish descent, I am Polish.
We prefer traditional, but not too common names. Other names we have considered are Benjamin, Arthur, Charles, Oliver, and Alexander. We dislike names like: Devin, Eric, Patrick, Chase, Jace. Husband really loves Malcolm, I really do not.
Go here for Civil War, Part I. Go here for Civil War, Part II.
While the midterms of 1834 changed some of Daniel Webster's plans, his leadership in the Civil War remained unchanged.
The Battle of Horn Island
By the end of 1834, the Union, with British assistance, had surrounded Confederate territory and taken Cuba, but it had not taken New Orleans. Fleet Admiral John Rodgers, Admiral Henry Curzon, and Commodores Isaac Hull and Matthew C. Perry planned to change that.
They launched several offensives aiming to take New Orleans between December 2nd, 1834 and February 13th, 1835 but while all of them made progress in eroding the Confederate position there, they still all failed to take the city.
However, after its defeat at the hands of the British and Unionists, the Confederate Navy were also regrouping and gathered in one large force lead by Commodore Franklin Buchanan. Buchanan and Confederate Secretary of the Navy Clement C. Clay planned to split apart the Union blockade at Mississippi. Buchanan was successful at first, managing to outmaneuver Union forces, getting to Horn Island, an island right to the south of mainland Mississippi.
The Union responded by sending Isaac Hull and Henry Curzon to meet him there on February 20th, thus starting the Battle of Horn Island. While the Union and British navy much outnumbered the Confederate navy, in this battle, the two forces were about equal, as the Union and British still had to maintain their blockade around Confederate territory.
Henry Curzon approached the Confederate fleet first, going south from the coast of Mississippi. His aim was to distract Buchanan's fleet until Hull could arrive from the west. Buchanan, less experienced compared to Hull and Curzon, fell for the ploy and attacked Curzon's forces with all of his might. Here it turned out that Curzon had underestimated the Confederates and suffered many casualties from this first attack.
A later daguerreotype of Commodore Franklin Buchanan
However, Henry Curzon did get his job done and Buchanan was not expecting Hull's approach from the west. When he noticed Hull, Buchanan chose to cont
... keep reading on reddit ➡My husband and I decided on Theodore for our baby due in March, but I'm worried that it's too popular. Even tho we BOTH have popular names for our age and never really minded it, I've heard so many stories about kids hating being the #4 Michael in their class.
I liked Oliver, James, Peter, and Samuel. Husband liked Arthur, Matthew, Owen.
Other names kinda close, but we won''t use for one reason or another: Daniel, Nathan/Nathaniel, Arthur, Jonathan, William.
Patrick was my runner up, but husband nixed it due to SpongeBob haha.
Our last name is -N so I don't like names that end in N sound.
If Jackson wasn't so popular, I would consider Jack after my grandpa but I haaaate Jax- names. I feel like Jack runs into the same popular issue as Theodore and Oliver, I just like the name less.
I'm hoping for some suggestions we may have missed or support to go with a growing popular name. It's a huge decision haha, tell me it's gonna be okay!
Howdy! It’s that time again that where I can’t chose a name for my kid lol here’s what we like/dislike.
Our first son is Jack Henry. I like classic, easy to spell names. I like things that aren’t super popular. No extra x’s or s or anything like that. Our last name rhymes with Shuttle.
I love Daniel but don’t want “Jack & Daniel” for booze reasons. We also love Oliver and Wade. I think I’m disliking Olive solely on its popularity.
Help meeeeee
Hello
We (Ben West & Joseph Pleass) just finished our first game, Peter Talisman: Lord of the Harvest, accompanying the album by our friends Slugabed and Samuel Organ. It's browser-based and about 40 minutes long. You'll guide Peter Talisman and Arthur Portal-Dolmen to uncover the sentimental sediment that lies across the great plane of corn.
Our original concept was 'an incremental game with graphics', but we drifted a little from this during development and testing. It turned out more of a very-light-strategy/incremental hybrid. We hope this community may appreciate it and we welcome your feedback!
