Today is day 1 of the half marathon - rides are open 11:30-7:30pm. Anyone there and can report what rides are open and what queue times are like? I'm going tomorrow and looking to plan the day.

Is it possible to get to Alton Towers by coach trip from Manchester?
I have looked into this and cannot find a way to get there without having to take other transport additionally. I know that some areas go to on Alton Towers trips directly. Just wondering if there is a way to do this from Manchester as public transport and planning gives me anxiety, if I could just stick to one coach it would be manageable.
