I got gifted a pack of dried alphabet pasta as a joke and really want to use it to make something delicious, but everything I google just comes up as recipes for toddlers. Anyone got any ideas?
I was thinking of pulling a subtle prank by serving some of my friends a meal of alphabet soup that they think is normal, but when they start to eat it, they'll realize is a joke, because the only letters are HA or LO(L) or something like that--something with so few letters it'll naturally spell out something funny.
Anyone know of a place I could buy alphabet pasta by the letter? Or some sort of "custom pasta" site like Customink is for shirts (a stretch I know)? Pasta is normally cheap but I'm willing to be upcharged significantly for the joke value. I don't wanna go through a box of alphabet pasta and sort it manually if I don't have to.
No I don't want to make the pasta myself, that's way too much work.

You could buy alphabet pasta
The mince looks like it has some freezer burn on the bottom
So you are going to boil the flavour out of the mince
So you cant be bothered to find some alphabet pasta so you are just going to use normal pasta
Look at the scum on top of the mince
Maybe you should remove the scum before adding the carrots
So the carrot are going to be very mushy when the mince is finished
Why add a oxo stock cube when you are already added gravy granules
That is just a thick gravy with mince and carrots in it not a soup
Maybe if you added some of the pasta water to the soup it would make it thinner
Yes dogs can have pasta, mince, carrots but the gravy granules will have lots of fat and salt in it and they can have oxo if they are low sodium

-Take first noodle that comes randomly from box
-Write outcome down
-Put noodle back in box
-Shake closed box

I'm new to the very idea of making my own pasta. I'm curious - how would you go about making pasta in complex, detailed, small shapes like alphabet pasta? I'd like to make alphabet pasta with a non-Latin alphabet. I thought about buying lasagne pasta sheets and trying to cut them and building a small machine to automate the process, but I've never worked with the material and don't know if I'm thinking into the right direction at all. Any insights would be so very welcome!
