A list of puns related to "Acclaimed Music"
I feel like the critics this time didn't even listen carefully and read through the lyrics and what Lorde said in interviews that she just wants to chill.
What do they want? For Lorde to always put her trauma on paper or make dark music and repeat herself as an artist?????????? It's like they only want Lorde when she's heartbroken and despise her in her happy and peaceful era.
The comparison are all on her this time because all the girls that seek help from Jack Antonnoff - Taylor, Lana & Clairo have released records already.
Smh. I'll just enjoy the music for what it is. I will listen to it again. It is a great record!!! If you look closely, from Pure Heroine to Melodrama to Solar Power - this is a big 180.
We recently took by storm one of the largest European music festivals, Untold, a world-acclaimed event that drew the worldβs top DJs and Europeβs most enthusiastic fans together in an epic setting.
Located right at the heart of the event, the Elrond lounge was one of the most popular venues in the festival area. It hosted everything from the official launch of the Untold book to festival-goers hanging out in the coolest tech spot.
Thousands of people dropped by to meet us, talk to other crypto enthusiasts, get help with installing Maiar, entering the 50 EGLD challenge and of course, take pictures with the customized Lambo that one community member lent to the event, complete with Elrond decals.
Our presence at Untold was a catalyst for new users to join the ecosystem, with the majority of the 20,000+ new accounts created over the last weekend being attributed to the festival-goers.

Look forward to us dropping by more of the worldβs hottest events and coolest venues, to plug all the like-minded unstoppable builders and forward-thinking enthusiasts into the new and unstoppable digital future unfolding at an internet-scale.

Sorry for the charged topic title.
But it seems that a lot of very creative, inventive and critically acclaimed albums were written by people who had surprisingly little knowledge of music theory. The Beatles being one example where all 4 members didnβt really know that much theory at all and couldnβt even read sheet music.
One of the principal song writers of Radiohead, a band known for producing quite a few critically acclaimed albums supposedly canβt read sheet music as well.
Kendrick Lamar would be another example of someone producing pretty original and critically acclaimed music.
And then you have people like Andrew Huang (a YouTuber that teaches a lot about theory and music production) who seems to be pretty educated when it comes to theory. Who has produced over 50 albums now, covering various genres yet his educational content has way more views than any of his actual music. I personally feel that his music is good but pretty formulaic and not super interesting.
Doing some research on the topic there also seems to be the idea that knowing too much theory could potentially destroy your creativity.
It just seems odd to me. As youβd think that people who were more educated in theory would have a far bigger advantage over artists who might only know the basics?
I live in Europe and have a few friends from Texas who listen almost exclusively to country music, and it made me realize that I virtually never get exposed to it.
Obviously I know some of the big hitters who are known internationally (Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Sturgill Simpson, etc) but beyond that I know basically nothing.
I was wondering if people could point me towards some of the most interesting, exciting, and genre defining releases? And obviously, since it's /r/LetsTalkMusic and we don't do list threads, could you please give a bit of an explanation as to why they are so seminal?
Edit: So many good recommendations, but I donβt want to just spam the entire thread saying βthanks!β over and over, and for obvious reasons I donβt have anything meaningful to contribute to the topic, so Iβll just say one big thanks to everyone here instead.
