A list of puns related to "A View to a Kill (video game)"
Idk, how many of you folks play vidya games, but I thought it'd be fun to discuss/recommend the very fun Mad Max game from a few years ago. I'm not much of a gamer. Between creative pursuits, movies, music, books, art, and podcasts I don't get around to a lot of games. I play maybe 3 to 4 games a year. But, with the quarantine I've had more time to play games. With the Miller mini starting up, I thought, maybe I'd give the old Mad Max game a replay. I really think it's worth a DL if you're looking for something to do between watching Lorenzo's Oil and Babe: Pig in the City.
For example, I like the idea of a game where you play as a serial killer (it is the suspense not the violence that I find attractive) and you might say murder someone and bury a body and you're playing the game years later and the AI in the game uncovers the body and begins a manhunt for you. Sort of like never knowing when the knock at the door to to speak is going to come.
How many generations will it be before something like that is possible?
I played this maybe 5 or 6 years ago and just can't think of what it was. The style looked cartoony, there were tons of races and classes you could be, but there were not many animations so your guy just moved square by square and bumped into bad guys. There was magic too which would be a whoosh sound effect and some colors would go around you. I remember in the beginning there were like bears and squirrels to kill? And later some like psychic frog people with big eyes.
Oh, and there was a class with shadow minions, and a class that was using buzz saws to slice enemies? And lots of artifacts and abilities that you had to keep on the bottom toolbar
I'll let you know if you get one but I won't mark it until both are guessed.
I've always wished that Kratos was more open about his life back in Greece, or at least explained the good side to his old life, and I really hope that Atreus will continue to pester about Kratos old life and ask Kratos to tell some old story's of legends or something, like Mimir.
Greek legend is such a thrilling tale to go through and with Kratos life, and all of his accomplishments, he certainly has some riveting legends to tell.
I've always loved the story telling aspect of the GoW series and there were so many well done animated cut-scenes that helped imagine the world's lore so I really think that while the RPG fighting element is really fun, and is always needed and improved upon, I think there always has to be that story driven element and aspect guiding us along the story and keeping us glued to this games universe.
Also I'm pretty sure Kratos is actually an extremely intelligent demi-god, who not only solved some of the hardest riddles and puzzles ever created but also outwit and conned, by killing I guess, many others who were supposed "Unlimited" and unmatched in wit and thought, so he would be able to tell some really good story's. Plus hes been a decent narrator before.
vag description but if you know any games please tell me. me and all my friends remember watching our babysitters son play the game when we were younger but no one remebers amything other then what i said above.
Around 2-3 years ago I watched a Let's Play video made by Markiplier, where he played this short game made for some kind of gamemaking contest. I think it was an annual competition where everyone can submit their games and I think it even won something.
So the game is under 30 minutes long. It was made in pixel style (looked a bit like Kingdom: New Lands , but the face of the protagonist was more detailed). And the genre is horror.
Now, the plot is more or less as follows: You (a man) wake up closed in some kind of bunker/room with a lab in it. I think it may be freezing outside. And I also think there are dead bodies around you. The place is in general disrepair. Then, you either listen to some audiolog or read notes about what happened - a fungus (or a virus) broke out in the lab and everyone inside is infected with it. What it does is, it messes with your brain and causes hallucinations and voices in your head, even takes controll of your body and makes you kill yourself. Well, you are the last person alive in there and other scientists outside are trying to investigate what happened. Ther whole time while you are looking for clues, the fungus periodically takes control of you and tries to force you to commit suicide in different ways. When that happens, suddenly the whole colour scheme turns red, there is loud heartbeat, and very ominous music plays while you struggle to stay alive. I remember in one one such scene you try to hang yourself from some kind of ventillation shaft on the ceiling. Then, at the end of the game [SPOILER] some other scientists finally manage to open the room, your son is among them. Somehow, you have a gun (I think taken from another scientist that shot himself) and the fungus controlls you to put the finger on the trigger and squeeze - you are presented with a choice; either kill yourself or your son. Then the game turns black and you only hear a gunshot. The end.
There was even a link to the game's website (or the contest's website) under the Let's Play. I even remember the website had a violet/blue background, but not the name ot the game.
Help, I promised a friend I will show them the game!
