They finally got the MRTP approval... Time to start making sales and making $$$$$$.

XXII, or 22nd Century Group, is a plant biotechnology company focused on tobacco, cannabis and hops. They are competing in, and working on disrupting, an $800B+ market size between tobacco, hemp/cannabis, and hops. Most of this comes from the 700B+ global tobacco market - which I am going to be focusing on here. If you want any other info, check my post history.

With Tobacco, XXII has the ability to grow the plant with extremely low levels of nicotine. 95-96% less, to be exact. This allows them to make a cigarette with said tobacco that has 95% less nicotine than the conventional cigarettes on the market. Over the past decade or two, the FDA, NIH, NIDA have invested ~$100 Million into research of these Very Low Nicotine Cigarettes (VLNCs) and the research is... compelling.

Cigarettes smoked per day down 50% after 20 weeks. Cigarettes per day down even when using VLNCs and regular nicotine cigarettes. Cigarettes per day down even when not intending to quit.

On top of this, studies were done to measure compensatory use in response to using VLN, and they show that compensatory smoking does not occur, even in vulnerable populations. Because cigarettes smoked per day decreases when using VLN, exposure to toxicants outside of just nicotine will also occur.

Most adult smokers want to quit and regret ever starting. Many of them attempt to quit each year and less than 10% succeed. There is massive demand for a tobacco product that will help people smoke less and stop smoking.

“Boss, picked up a phase signal.” Lora called out.

“Where’s it coming from?”

Lora leaned closer towards the screen, reading the information rolling across. “Looks like the same direction the Maneaters went.”

“Hmph. About time those stupid cunts-for-brains got back. Tell them to link up with us as soon as they leave phase. And contact their loose clam of a boss Herin. I have some words for her and her wayward whores.”

“You got it boss.” A few seconds pass by. “Herin is waiting for you. The others will be exiting in roughly thirty seconds.”

“Good girl.” Pirate captain Belnex coos out. Watching a crewmember work, and listen, like they’re supposed to always gets her excited. But right now she had other business to deal with. Namely another pirate captain who has no control over her own people. Belnex pulls up Herin on her personal screen, the two steel-eyed and manic-looking pirates glaring at each for a tense few seconds before relaxing their postures.

Belnex is the first one to speak up. “So, your girls are back from wherever they went. Just picked up their phase signal a few seconds ago.”

Herin looks confused. “They weren’t supposed to be back for a few days. Have you contacted them yet?”

“Not yet but as soon as they exit I will. I’ll be sure to give them enough screaming to dry their clams up for months since someone takes it easy on them.” Belnex couldn’t roll her eyes

It rallied to $6.07 on April 26, 2021 in large part because the market believed that MRTP would get approved. Now that they got this approval, shouldn’t the price go back to $6+?

WOW it’s almost the holiday season AND we only have 1 post left for the year. I kind of can’t believe it. How is everyone holding up?!

Brief Introduction

This series is different than the Project Pan series put on by /u/ohkayeisee because this series is focusing on going through your collection and curating it to better suit your needs. The goal isn’t necessarily about downsizing your collection; it’s about creating a collection that works for you and is filled with your favourite items. Whether that means you destash items, re-test others, keep samples, or full size them. This series is open to any and all indie products!

I plan on posting every ~2 weeks. This will give people time to go through their collection, try out products, and (hopefully) make decisions. Posting will hopefully provide people with an avenue to discuss what works for them vs what doesn’t, maybe get some encouragement for destashing products, sharing strategies and creative ideas.
