A list of puns related to "Xxxvi"
[Rams have just tied up the game and kicked off, Pats at their 17 with 1:21 left]
-“With no timeouts, I think that the Patriots — with this field position, you have to just run the clock out. You have to play for overtime now. I don’t think you want to force anything here. You don’t want to do anything stupid because you have no timeouts and you’re backed up.”
- Play #1 / 1st & 10 / Pats 17 / 1:21 /JR Redmond reception goes for 4 yards
- “I don’t agree with what the Patriots are doing right here, I would (I would I would) play for overtime. If I had good field position, I wouldn’t, but in this field position, I would play for overtime.”
- Play #2 / 2nd & 5 / Pats 22 / 0:57 / Redmond again for 8
-“This guy is really cool though. I mean I’ve been impressed watching Tom Brady on film and you know television games and so on, but the way he has played in this game today, he has been very, very impressive with his calmness. . . They need 40 more yards before they’re gonna be in field goal range.”
- Play #3 / 2nd & 10 / Pats 30 / 0:41 / (Note: not counting spike to stop the clock) Redmond again for 11, goes out of bound and stops the clock.
- “And now I kind of like what the Patriots are doing… the Rams are getting a little too loose I think with their defense when they had him backed up, you think they would've pressured him a little more.”
- Play #4 / 1st & 10 / Pats 41 / 0:33 / Brady pressured and throws it away
- “Tom Brady better get rid of that ball.”
- Play #5 / 2nd & 10 / Pats 41 / 0:29 / Troy Brown for 23 yards, goes out of bound and stops the clock.
- “This, this is amazing. This is something and I’ll admit that as a coach and as an analyst, I don’t think they shouldn’t have done. But they had the guts, they have a young quarterback and they did it. They were backed up. They were inside their own 20. They had no timeouts left. And they are calling these plays, and not only calling these plays, but MAKING these plays. At some point when you’re in the Super Bowl, you have to let it all hang out, and I’ll say this, Charlie Weis and this Patriots team, they are letting it all hang out.”
- Play #6 / 1st & 10 / Rams 36 / 0:21 / Wiggins for 5 yards; Brady spikes the ball and it bounces back directly into his hands, setting up the field goal attempt.
- “I’ll tell you, what Tom Brady just did gives me goosebumps.”

It's possible to weaken the Hive, even one at the top by fucking with their Tribute. And perhaps not simply in simple terms such as killing a bunch of their underlings. Something that makes the Tribute itself of poor quality or alters its nature.
This past season we see that the Vanguard and Saint were blindsided by Osiris being replaced or controlled by Savathûn. Or were they? Ikora runs a spying ring and Saint is his lover. How could they not have been at least... suspicious that the Witch Queen had some hand in things when taking his odd behavior and dialogue into question? When Ikora talks to him about always plotting and he gets defensive she then soothes him. She gives him access to archives that no one else can access.
Eris Morn is a Hive expert. She knows what makes them tick. She knows their ways. Their magic. Some of their history. She has Savathûn in her crosshairs. But how does one take on a Hive God with not even a Ghost? If Savathûn received Tribute from mere death, it would be difficult indeed to poison such a thing. Death is simple. Secrets, not so much.
For something to be a secret, it must be true. Without truth, the secret has no value.
> I'm going to move from an existential economy based on the accumulation of violence to an existential economy based on the accumulation of secrets and the tribute of failing-to-understand-me. I shall name this tribute of failing-to-understand IMBARU, for it shall be as formless as the mist.
I feel like there's no way Eris Morn doesn't understand this. I also feel like there's no way that she hasn't shared this with Zavala and Ikora. This Season they may have suspected that Osiris was compromised and are pretending to not notice in order to poison Savathûn's Tribute. The Imbaru she relies on hinges on secrets. If she's been tricked into accepting rumors, lies, and false assumptions into her Tribute, that's certainly got to count as her Tribute being poisoned. And they can continue to make it worse the longer they feign ignorance and allow her to make moves and plans based on those falsehoods.
This is all naturally speculation, but it would be magnificent to have the Witch Queen's end involve revealing that some of her Imbaru is demonstrably false, causing her to question the rest of her Imbaru and poison it as well.
