As someone who grew up on Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play and other games games which focused on Mii characters, I've always felt that they should receive some more spotlight in newer games. They put an obscene of amount of effort into creating the interconnected world that is Wuhu Island, with some areas suggesting a large ancient history, and managed to make almost all of the 12 sports incredibly fun and almost addictive.
Should Wuhu Island + Miis return, or should they remain in the past? If yes, how would they execute it? Should it be a remaster of the previous games, or completely new games with plenty of new mini games?

I'm trying to play Wuhu island but when i do i get placed in the ocean, all the map animation work and so does my body because i can hear the sound it makes when I jump but I'm just a floating camera out there i've reloaded all my mods and tried to spawn it in blankbox, but my other custom maps work just fine
I'm on oculus and it had an update. Was getting excited but it's still bugs. Do you know if the modder is trying to fix it or if it's actually oculus's side

Please join the bw discord and go to mod help and ask for the oculus camera fix then when you get it put it in your mods folder and it will fix the bug

Stage appreciation day: coolest edition Wuhu Island Favorite normal stage. Hams down. I love Wuhu. And it's not just cause im the weird mii thing the place is so cool. Coming straight from the Wii, the vacation destination of your dreams became a stage in smash for the wii u and 3ds or I guess just the Wii U since the 3ds didnβt have Wuhu. It's made an appearance as a stage long before smash though, as the final track in Mariokart 7. In smash, it's a tour stage that takes you around the island and brings you to different locations where some of the sports you can play in Wii Sports Resort take place. Thisl be a long one since im so passionate about it and there are 9 places to visit plus the platform that brings you there. AND ONE OF THOSE PLACES IS Cool thingus: youβve never seen a transition so smooth. Also im gonna talk about each place in their own section with stuff about it from wii sports resort then stuff about it in spash. so first off is
Not a location actually: The taxi platform, the platform that takes you places, is kinda cool itself. Im gonna call it the taxi platform whenever I cover stages like these now. There are 4 different taxi platforms between locations each with the icon of a different sport, those being wakeboarding, Frisbee, and Jet-sking. They donβt have a specific order that they come in but the first taxi platform is always the same when the stage first starts. During the intro to the stage, the taxi platform will skim the water and if you touch it during this point, you'll take a little damage but its like 3 percent you'll be fime. Also the border of the "going up" sign is made of seahorses. Ok NOW we can talk about the
SWORDPLAY COLOSSEUM: the ultimate colosseum where only the most LEGADARY battles took place. The sport played here in Resort is of corks swordplay where you have to knock your opponent off of the platform it the water below. Speaking of legendary battles, in resort, when you fight the final boss of swordplay, you'd have a duel at sunset and if you won you'd be able to play with a purple swrod. There was also a nerve racking sudden death system where if the time ran down, the small circle in the center would rise up and you fought your opponent on that tiny platform in the sky. It was just as tense as it sounds im sure you know. In spash it maintains its duel nature having nothing but the one platform. It's also the setting for the omega and battlefield forms of Wuhu. This is easily an s tier stage imo. Honestly this is my favorite battle stage in the series. It has a very complex design, but in a non confusing way unlike some other battle courses. Since the course is mostly flat it is easy to navigate. On top of that, it does a really good job representing Wuhu Island from Wii Sports Resort, along with Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu. And since like I said before it is mostly flat, it makes the items more fun also in my opinion. Unfortunately the battle mode of this game isn't that great but it's really fun paying it in MK8DX on Shine Thief or Renegade Roundup.
So anyways now I'm done with all of the tracks and battle stages.
Whenever I load up wuhu island I will spawn in the ground without my hands and the only way I can exit is if I close the game. I really want to play this map but I can't find a fix for it anywhere online. Every other custom map has worked so far. If you know a fix tell me please
