A list of puns related to "Williamite"
I also plan to go in Ireland next year and maybe follow on a PhD there. I fell in love with your country many years ago during a schooltrip and I can't wait to join you!!
Let's start to mass report him for harassment and racism
If u want to see what he dose dm me I know alot about him I know a shit load of shit
I just listened to the Succession Crisis episode on Year of Polygamy podcast, and had a few questions about each of those groups.
Williamites β They mentioned a small group in Texas that they called the Williamites. Does anyone know what happened to them? Are they still around? I canβt find much on them.
Snufferites/Remnant β Are they still growing? Is anyone on here a follower of that group? I know someone who occasionally meets with them, but for several reasons I canβt discuss it with them too easily. Just curious what is going on in that community and what life is like as a follower (i.e. meetups, current teachings, future plans, etc.).
Community of Christ β Admittedly, I should know more about them than I do. I keep hearing something about how they took a more nuanced view on Joseph and such, after accepting that he actually did polygamy. Just curious, how important Joseph is to that group. And how important is the BOM? I could be mis-remembering, but I feel like Iβve heard there is a sub-group within the CoC that is more focused on him/primitive Mormon teaching, and the rest have become more βtraditional Christian churchβ (whatever that means). Is that the case? If so, how does that work for those who are more primitive? What is the dynamic between the subgroups? Do you have the same meetings? Or am I completely wrong? The CoC is a smaller group, right? So how do meetings work? Online to cover distances? Any other insight? I know u/gileriodekel probably has these answers for me (and forgive me if youβve already posted them; if so, please share the link).
Thanks!
Once isolation has ended, Iβd like to take my other half on a trip. His favourite part of history is the Williamite Wars. Heβs taken me to the Boyne and his face lights up when heβs talking about it.
I was wondering does anyone have any suggestions of places I could take him? I was thinking of Aughrim (Battle of Aughrim is his favourite) and then we could stay in Galway. Suggestions of places along the way or other suggestions are very welcome!
Thank you in advance.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
