A list of puns related to "Waterfall Model"
Hi all,
I'm currently making a development proforma for a hypothetical development to work on my Excel modeling skills. The prompt is asking for a 3 hurdle waterfall model, but doesn't describe whether it should be on an annual layout or a monthly layout. I've done both just for practice but the contributions and distributions are widely different even though they use the same DCF model. Is this typical with waterfalls when you vary the time layout (monthly vs. annual)?
If I see such a prompt that doesn't describe whether to do an annual or monthly waterfall, would I be fine with just doing an annual layout?
Would appreciate any insight! Thanks!
Hi , just had a class on Software development life cycle and it's various models but I couldn't understand a word there. Now I do know the basic SDLC model i.e. the waterfall model and the V shaped model, as per google, is the same thing with testing and validation after each stage.
But I can't seem to understand it. Could someone explain it. Sorry for the trouble
Hi all, I'm writing this post and listen to your opinion about the best Methodology in implementing a medium size ERP project. Let's say for a company which will use it for Finance and Distribution.
There are many Models out there, the well known one are Agile and Waterfall. In general, Agile has less documentation and usually deploy the features every 2 weeks. Whereas Waterfall emphasize more on Documentation, less interaction between Development team and User.
Here are my thought:
I personally prefer the Agile method for ERP implementation, but I haven't seen any Vendor practicing this. Probably due to the costs.
What do you think?
Does anyone have experience with waterfall modeling for partnership payouts?
How do the partners receive their allocated payment from a promote / waterfall payment structure? I understand how to model a waterfall pay-out in excel. Specifically, who organizes the rent payments received and then allocates the payments to the various partners based on their promote structure?
Do the partners send the payment structure to the bank that tenants will send rent payments to, and then the bank will organize the rent payments and pay the partners in accordance with the deal structure?
OR is this something the partners have to handle on their own?
Sorry if this is confusing. Thank you for any insight.
Hmmm, after I took delivery of my 2018 used Model X a few weeks ago I brought up that the liner on one the Falcon Wing door seemed to be off. They told me it was fixed. But, sadly today it rained and when I opened it in low mode there was still a waterfall inside the car π€£. Fixing the seams should have fixed this issue correct?
Also, there was a lot of water somehow inside the unit that houses the front passenger seatbelt. That did not seem right to me.
I'm trying to read it from a book but it sounds like jargon. Any simpler explanations?
