A list of puns related to "Wankel Rotary Engine"
I just learned that it is a thing today. Unfortunately the FAA Powerplant handbook had only a paragraph about this engine type. I am perplexed by how a triangle with rounded sides spins around in an oval cylinder. Any wisdom about this engine?
I wish that rotary engines were reliable, with nothing else changing in the car industry
I'm planning to investigate or compare wankel engines and their piston counterparts, and thought it would be most suitable to compare the efficiency and output of both engines placed in the same car. I don't have much experience when it comes to cars so I've been finding it difficult to find what I'm looking for.
It seems that Mazda's RX series is based around the Wankel-Engine, but I'm unsure if there were any that also applied the piston.
Any help would be appreciated.
So I finally unlocked the engine swap for the Mazda RX-7 FD3S, ponied up the hefty price for it, and was sad to notice that the engine barely hits 7k rpm. Not only that the engine sounds THE SAME as the stock Rotary engine that comes with the car.
Here is an example of how the car should sound, fully upgraded on 1000bhp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWr51ovhENI
I'm deeply saddened by this :(
