A list of puns related to "Voyage 200"
I just received the Voyage 200 calculator today, and it is behaving very weirdly. I am just wondering if there is something I'm doing wrong, or if there's an actual hardware problem - in that case, I'll contact the seller and try to return it. When I received the calculator and turned it on, it was getting stuck at the OS update message with "Do not interrupt" in the middle, but the upper part of the screen was glitched out. I tried all possible reset key combinations and after trial and error I reinserted the batteries one time and it woke up correctly. Once I even got the "illegal instruction" notice. The problem is gone now. When it finally booted up, I cleared RAM and flash. The weird thing that is happening now is that the calculator is turning on and off, on it's own. It's turned off, just sitting on a table and it wakes up, which seems odd. But the major problem is that I can't send any files to it, not even OS update! I received the SilverLink cable with it, and I tried to send files to it using TI Connect, TILP on Windows and TILP on Linux. The programs can detect the calculator, when I scan with TI Connect it detects it as Voyage 200 on SilverLink. But whenever I try sending a file, I got a communication error. I thought the cable was broken, but when I tried it out with TI-89 Titanium it works perfectly. I thought that it was a software problem, I got the Voyage 200 into the recovery mode with battery out, press [APPS], battery in. The LCD becomes black and text is almost unreadable, I have no idea if that's normal. But even here, I can't send an OS update to the calculator. I'm wondering if anyone has had similar problems with this calculator, if it's just me being stupid and doing something wrong, or if there is something actually wrong with the calculator? Thank you for any help :)
Hi there, apologies if this is an easy issue, I just can't seem to find it. On the TI Voyage 200 how do I type a comma in the text editor?
I'd like to take notes in the text editor, but none of the other 2nd level characters look like a comma. The only other character that looks like a comma is above the B but that is a single quote.
Ta-Dah!!!!
I'm back and I've read 100 more chapters (116 to be exact)
WOW!! Where do I begin! Well I'd like to thank everyone who liked and commented on my 1-100 post! Thanks for all the words of encouragement and for welcoming me into the community! Please feel free to recall your favorite moments of chapters 100-216.
I found myself getting excited while reading to the point where id get up, yell the lines and making all the sound effect in the fights out loud for everyone to hear, I'm pretty sure my fiancΓ© thinks I'm going crazy!!! I wont be summing up every arc I will just highlight my favorite moments of each one.

Reverse Mountain
I love how Oda Sensei introduced the Grand Line. I love the world building and how small he portrayed The Straw Hat Pirates to the creatures of the Grand Line. It made me excited to see what was in store!
Whiskey Peak
The fight between Zoro and the Baroque works was great! He demolished everyone that got in his way and this fight just made me love Zoro even more. It caught me off guard when Luffy wanted to kill Zoro but it did make a tiny bit of sense but i think it could've been left out. Not a big deal though i still enjoyed the arc.
Little Garden
I don't mean to make this a Zoro love letter but gosh this arc was top tier for Zoro comedy. I loved how he picked a pose while in the process of becoming a wax figure. During all the fights i completely forgot about Sanji until he showed up answering the call from Mr.Zero. That moment was great and very unexpected. Oh and The Straw Hats exit that was assisted my the Giants was Awesome!
Drum Island
Tony Tony Chopper!!!! I love him so much!!!! His back story was great and emotional and i actually felt sad for the reindeer. This arc was so unexpected. The snow boarding Lapins was one of my favorite parts and Usopp and Vivi's interactions made me laugh out loud. The only thing was how boring Wapols character was. Gosh was that enemy so predictable. He is definitely the worst Enemy in the story in my opinion. Dr.Hiriluk was .... Meh ... kind of an asshole to me. Oh did i say Chopper! Gosh I love him.
Alabasta
This was THE BEST ARC by far in my Voyage (SUBJECT TO CHANGE). There is so much to talk about but at the same time i cant get my mind straight so I'm sorry bu
... keep reading on reddit β‘I just found an old TI Voyage 200 in an old closet and found out that the OS is outdated.
Sadly, I couldn't find a way to update it using my computer.
The Ming Emperor had good reasons, in his mind, to cancel the voyages, but western minds have failed to understand it. But how would it have changed history if the fleet had continued around Africa and confronted de Gama in his four tiny ships?

So I just stumbled upon this particular calculator and thought it was really unique and the qwerty keyboard/ form factor seems cool. But other than that I know next to nothing about it, if yβall have ever used or seen one Iβd love to find out more about, especially how it compares to a ti 84/83. Thanks!
So, my new Voyage 200 finally arrived to its new owner and one of the first things I did (after playing some Mario and Doom89) was installing Lars Frederiksen TI-89 RPN calculator programΒΉ on my 200. Besides not specifically written for the Voyage, the program worked wonderfully (image) and right now I am tempted to say a Voyage with this program is maybe the best RPN calculator I could ever wish I had (at least one inside my budget. I got lucky this crazy guy was selling brand new, original-box new-toy-smelling for about 50 dollars - converted from brazilian reais to dollars - on my country's main e-commerce website. If I had more money I would buy extra):
However I got some problems and I don't know whether is a matter of syntax or just a bug for using a TI-89's program on a Voyage: pressing ln, e^x, x^-1, sin, cos, tan (and their respective inverse functions) buttons won't return anything. The calculator seems to respond to the command (as the "2ND" screen indicator disappears when typing 2ND+9 ( x^-1 ) and the typing dash sign freezes for a second) but no answer is returned, despite d() and integral functions working perfectly (as seen on image). Do someone have any idea why that could be? Thanks for the attention and help!

(I made another post about this program before here on r/calculators. This link in the internet archive seems to be the last functioning link to download the program on the web. It seems people sadly lost interest in this great program very quickly and it has been a long time since someone talked about it and we never heard from the author again. I only hope this post can maybe regenerate some discussion about this program again)
P.S.: It seems I had installed the wrong version of the program, the 89 version instead of the 92+ version. Now that I installed the 92+ version I can type [8] [sin] and all these fun
... keep reading on reddit β‘I heard there is a program you can load in a TI 89 and get RPN while the calculator still displays your inputs in algebraic. I am planning to buy a TI Voyage 200 (mostly because of the qwerty keyboard, easier programming, big screen and just the cool odd look of it) and I heard the Voyage 200 is very similar to the TI 89 models. Does a Voyage 200 RPN program/mod exist? I appreciate your engagement
I am trying to use the silver USB cable to connect my voyage 200 to a win 7 PC. After plugging in the cable, drivers were automatically installed via Windows Update. I also downloaded TI Connect. When searching for devices in TI Connect however, my voyage is not found. Even worse: After rebooting my PC, the USB device in the device list is gone. The silver link USB cable shows up in the device manager, though.
Any tips on how to get the calculator connected to the PC?
What's a good strategy?
I think I've found the perfect form factor for the homebrew UMPC project of my dreams in the TI Voyage 200. My only question is: how large is the actual physical opening for the screen? I'm calculating the cost and would like to know if LCDs I already own will fill the opening before I start bidding on devices.
