A list of puns related to "Visually Challenged"
Hello everyone,
I have recently started working as an assistant professor in a college while doing my Ph.D. My job is contractual and renews itself every 4 months or so.
I have a unique problem and Iβm trying to be as sensitive as I can be about it. My immediate superior who initiated me into it though sheβs not by boss or anything, is visually challenged. I have a lot of empathy for her and initially when she used to call me during and after work hours for trivial things I would always answer and do it.
But lately it has turned wild to the point I get anxious to the point of crying. My work hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and I answer atleast 5-6 calls of hers during then, but when its trickling beyond that it is truly affecting me.
I feel as if she is taking advantage of me because she has a tenured job and no one can remove her, I also suspect she has done this with other juniors.
How do I deal with this? I donβt want to be rude, or create a hostile work environment. But I desperately need to regain my sanity, physically disabled or otherwise, no one should be allowed to harass me on Sunday to send mundane emails which she must have a way of sending even before I arrived.
Please help me.
Tl;dr - My visually challenged boss who is tenured keeps calling me at all hours every day to the point of me getting severely anxious. I dont want to lose my job but i cant continue like this. Please help.

DM Mike is visually challenged but doesn't want to make a big deal about it. He does occasionally mention resources (and the next time I hear them Ill post them here) for visually challenged members of the gamiing community he has found helpful.
Part of this team was on another podcast (saveordiesaveordiesaveordiesaveordiesaveordiesaveordie) so there may be more info there as well.
If I'm going out for a single trail ride, the best option is probably contacts and non-rx sun glasses, but on multi-day trips with few opportunities to actually wash my hands, what do you all wear? Specific brands/models?
In particular, curious to hear if any of you have had experience using sunglasses with Rx inserts as my astigmatism has decided to start evolving again and inserts seem to be cheaper to replace.
In this situation, if a blind person wants to go somewhere, does he have to take someone every time? Does he always have to depend on someone?
When traveling, people seem to be more independent and able to go places they've never been before. For someone with a visual impairment, however, it's not quite the same experience. When someone with vision loss goes somewhere new, they often prefer to take someone who has been there before in order to feel a little more comfortable. They're not necessarily dependent on that person, but they do get a little anxious when they take off on their own.
Hi Everyone. This might be a bit long. My team Project Aakaar was chosen for the finals of MIT SOCIAL IDEAS innovation which supports social enterprises. Looking for fiction, preferably not YA/JUV.
Quick question for my visually challenged brethren...what style, or type of glasses do yβall use? If you use contacts, do you sleep in them, or put them in on the truck?
Thanks for reading, thanks in advance for responding.
