A list of puns related to "Vinyl Radical"
Hey everyone! As the title says I recently started collecting KC vinyls and pretty much planned to go through their discography based on what I listen to the most. I was fortunate enough to get an original pressing of ITCotKC from my dad, along with a slightly newer (90s?) pressing of Larks.
My main question is this: did KC release Radical Action (to Unseat the Hold of Monkey Mind) in vinyl form? I really like that entire album and can't seem to find any online, I might just not be looking hard enough though. Any help is appreciated!
As the title says I don’t know if there is any official release of Radical on vinyl. The only thing I found is this but it says it’s an unofficial release.
A photocatalytic system was developed for perfluoroalkylation of vinyl‐substituted all‐carbon quaternary centers by using perfluoroalkyl halides with concomitant 1,2‐aryl migration. This strategy possesses good functional‐group compatibility and can serve as a powerful synthetic tool for the construction of valuable perfluoroalkylated compounds that would be difficult to prepare by other methods.
An efficient method for photocatalytic perfluoroalkylation of vinyl‐substituted all‐carbon quaternary centers involving 1,2‐aryl migration has been developed. The rearrangement reactions use fac‐Ir(ppy)3, visible light and commercially available fluoroalkyl halides and can generate valuable multisubstituted perfluoroalkylated compounds in a single step that would be challenging to prepare by other methods. Mechanistically, the photoinduced alkyl radical addition to an alkene leads to the migration of a vicinal aryl substituent from its adjacent all‐carbon quaternary center with the concomitant generation of a C‐radical bearing two electron‐withdrawing groups that is further reduced by a hydrogen donor to complete the domino sequence.

Cascade formation of two C−C bonds at an electron‐rich alkene is made possible by sequential capture of a radical (by intermolecular addition) and an anion (by intramolecular aromatic substitution), each formed in the photoredox cycle from the same organic photocatalyst.
We report tandem alkyl‐arylations and phosphonyl‐arylations of vinyl ureas by way of a photocatalytic radical‐polar crossover mechanism. Addition of photoredox‐generated radicals to the alkene forms a new C−C or C−P bond and generates a product radical adjacent to the urea function. Reductive termination of the photocatalytic cycle generates an anion that undergoes a polar Truce–Smiles rearrangement, forming a C−C bond. The reaction is successful with a range of α‐fluorinated alkyl sodium sulfinate salts and diarylphosphine oxides as radical precursors, and the conformationally accelerated Truce–Smiles rearrangement is not restricted by the electronic nature of the migrating aromatic ring. Formally the reaction constitutes an α,β‐difuctionalisation of a carbon–carbon double bond, and proceeds under mild conditions with visible light and a readily available organic photocatalyst. The products are α,α‐diaryl alkylureas typically functionalized with F or P substituents that may be readily converted into α,α‐diaryl alkylamines.

My pi and I are pursuing a new route to our polymer. Particularly transitioning from condensation polymerization to vinyl based. Our group is small and i haven't much experience with radical polymerization. I'm wondering if there is any insight here for radical polymerization of ion containing monomers. Particularly, to achieve high molecular weight you need to dilute as the ionic polymer becomes very viscous. Solvent will likely result in chain transfer and disproportionate which will kill the polymerization. Does anyone have experience getting around this? I am looking for any general insight or good references to learn more about acceptable additives and polymerization modifications for vinyl based monomers
*FINAL EDIT* So we miscalculated the response for this and we will no longer will be taking orders. We appreciate the IMMENSE support in helping a small local shop keep doing what we love for almost 30 years! If you ever find yourself in Philly, come see us at Main St. Music. Happy RSD everyone!
*EDIT 2* Hey everyone! Thanks again for all the awesome feedback. Between all the craziness I seem to have missed/possibly deleted someone's chat that made an order, can DIBS M. hit us back up? Just respond back with your full name and your order so we can confirm your paypal payment. Store opens at 12 so we will be getting back to you all around then. Thanks you!
*EDIT* Hey guys store is closing so we will get back to you guys in the morning! Thank you for everyone who has ordered!
Hey everyone! This is a first for us but we wanted to bring our left overs to the Vinyl Collectors community at retail prices! No need for finding fees or dealing with scalpers! Let us know what you are interested in and we will total you up. 8% Philly tax + shipping ($4 up to 3 records + $1 for ever 2 records after that). PayPal goods and services is cool with us! Hope we can help you out! Happy RSD!
Unless specified, the following vinyl albums should be in at least NM/NM condition (media/sleeve) with the pressing in parentheses and comparable pricing based on online resources (e.g. Discogs). Please post a comment on here first before reaching out to me via chat or PM. I would prefer to ship USPS Media Mail for $5 with the possibility of combining shipping for multiple items. If you're outside CONUS, you're welcome to message me and I'll try to work something out if possible. I'm open to discuss pricing if you find anything to be unreasonable, but please do me the courtesy of communicating with me directly first as it's rather disruptive to this post if there's an ongoing disagreement taking place which is better addressed in a civil private discourse. I have done tons of deals on here as a buyer/seller so feel free to look me up if you're concerned about my B/S/T history. \*\*PLEASE put specific info in the notes portion on Paypal with your Reddit username and which records you're buying or I'm going to have a tough time figuring out what you purchased from me.\*\* Happy hunting!

Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
A Dad.

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
Edit: Thanks for all the awards, kind strangers! I'll let my son know y'all enjoyed his joke too!
I heard parents named their children lance a lot.
