Humans don't stop believing, it's just what they believe in changes. The ideology of the Christian faith is being replaced and the new religion is political faith. Faith in ones political team. The left draw no distinction between science fact like climate change, and science fantasy like gender being fluid. To them, its all a matter of belief, and a member of the faith does not get to choose which parts of the ideology they believe in any more than a Christian decides which part of the Bible is true. On the right the same is true. So many followers believe thier saviour had the election stolen from him, but he will return to them as king shortly.
