A list of puns related to "Uniform Crime Reports"

(DOI) Unknown.
Introduced: Sponsor: Rep. Scott Perry [R-PA10]
This bill was referred to the House Committee on Financial Services and House Committee on the Judiciary which will consider it before sending it to the House floor for consideration.
I also posted this as a "news" link, but I'd love to hear about what the criminologists here think about how the loss of data during the transition from summary UCR to NIBRS will affect their work. The DOJ estimates that one in four local police agencies won't be ready for the switch over in January, but the old system is being shut down regardless -- meaning that a lot of cities/counties will just disappear from the UCR dataset until they're ready to move to the more detailed NIBRS collection. I co-authored a story about it here.
*group members wear uniforms that symbolise a war crime*
βbts can do heavymetal concept omg theyβre sooooooo cooolβ
*group member wears uniform for attention*
βomggggg loook at meee Iβm so cute in this uniform get me a German bfβ
I donβt understand how their satireness allows them to disrespect victims of war crimes just bc itβs not their culture or history they can disrespect it okay they titled it time traveler for a reason
bts have voices but they only use them when itβs to make them look good or innocent, itβs just obvious that only their culture is spoken about when it comes to others fetishising it but when their faves do it to others itβs acceptable and hollow apologies are good enough?
even other YouTubers can distinguish the performance relating it to the war crimes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwGfwerABfQ
i watched this video too and itβs quite interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewPJ5dz
oh they know of their ignorance but ignorance is bliss innit tho? Anyone will claim how their faves are controlled but they arenβt being shackled in the basement, they arenβt held ransom nor do they have guns pointing at them, theyβre fully capable of using their voices they just prefer not too simple as that
but then they release a drama snowdrop which continues to mock other countries history and base it around war crimes
bighit instrucitng bts be like u can wear that butβ¦

>βHispanic effectβ skews crime stats
>Posted by A'ndrea Elyse Messer-Penn State on April 1, 2011
>PENN STATE (US) β The share of violent crimes committed by African Americans has not dropped as dramatically as previously thought and has even risen in some areas.
>The rise in the U.S. Hispanic population and the sharp jump in black violent crime during the late 1980s and early 1990s may skew statistics reported by the FBI and National Crime Victimization Survey that appear to show a recent drop in black violence, says Darrell Steffensmeier, professor of sociology and crime, law, and justice at Penn State.
>Details of the study are reported in the journal Criminology.
>Studies on black violent crimeβinvolving force or the threat of forceβoften fail to account for the rise in the number of Hispanics in the U.S., Steffensmeier says.
>Since there is no Hispanic category in the FBIβs Uniform Crime Reports and approximately 93 percent of Hispanics identify themselves, or are identified by law enforcement officers, as white, most arrests of Hispanics are added to white violent crime rates.
>βThe result is that the violent crime rates for whites are inflated and the black rates are deflated in these studies,β says Steffensmeier.
>When the researchers adjusted for the Hispanic effect, there was little overall change in the black percentage of violent crime.
>Using arrest statistics from 1980 to 2008 in California and New York, two states that include a Hispanic category, the recalculated national figures indicated that the black percentage of assault increased slightly from 42 percent to 44 percent and homicide increased from 57 percent to 65 percent. There was a small decline in robbery, from 57 percent to 54 percent.
>βIt is the case that violent crime rates are lower today for blacks, as they also are for other race groupings, but the black percentage of violent crime is about the same today as in 1980,β says Steffensmeier.
>Studies that purport to show declines in black violent crimes may also rely on timelines that are too short to be effective.
>For instance, studies that start in the late 1980s and 1990s cover a period of rapid increase in black violent crime fueled by crack cocaine use in the inner cities. The recent decrease is more likely a return to the average.
>βA study that uses statistics from a short time period can lead to a regression to the mean effect,β Steffensmeier says. βWhich basically me
