A list of puns related to "Tubular Magazine"
Iβm making a realistic Nerf Mossberg 500 style pump action shotgun. Iβm nervous that the half-darts would get crushed by the spring of the tubular magazine. Are there any ideas on the internet to prevent them from getting crushed?
Alternatively, should I use the yellow nerf balls instead? I imagine it wouldnβt look as cool
I apologize for a simple question. I was wondering would I have any issues purchasing a lever gun (non 21lr) if the tubular magazine held more than 10 rounds?
I want an Uberti 1873 sporting rifle 24β .45 Colt. I know that 22 is legal but what about larger rounds. I thought finding a clear answer be a simple google search be easier.
Not the most amazing piece, but sentimental value is pretty high for me...
I accidentally allowed water inside the tube and didnβt clean it out properly. Now thereβs rust on the spring and tube interior wall.
I canβt see any way to remove the tube from the receiver, the follower from the tube, or the threaded insert from the other end. Am I missing something? Is there anything else I could try?
Cheers
As the title suggests, I am curious about how long ago speedloaders designed for weapons with internal tubular magazines were made, as they seem to be a much more obscure topic than, say, revolver speedloaders, where such information is quite commonly-available.
I want to do Appleseed. I have a couple center fire semi-auto rifles. But I don't want to spend the money to feed them for a whole Appleseed. And I foolishly don't own a .22. This is fine, I'm happy to buy one. The problem is... I'm really itching to get one with bolt action, and a tubular magazine (Marlin XT-22TR). And if I have one of those, getting a semi-auto, detachable magazine .22 would feel real redundant, for anything but Appleseed. I've seen people say it can be done with a bolt action, or with a tubular magazine. Sounds pretty uncommon to try both. I think I shoot pretty decently for somebody who's never really taken a class. But the tube mag accommodation really doesn't sound bad, and I feel like I could probably get pretty good at cycling that bolt. How mad am I?

Old repeating rifles and many pump action shotguns have built-in magazines (according to Wikipedia, I've never shot a gun in my life), so I'm wondering how many turns it takes to reload those.
My thinking was: 2 cartridges/bullets (whatever they're called) per turn. Optionally make an Agility roll for loading quicker (+1 per success and raise), but on a failure you drop the ammo.
Any thoughts?
I live in Chicago and am looking to buy a Marlin XT-22 bolt action 22LR rifle. I would preferably like one with a tubular magazine, specifically the XT-22TSR or XT-22TR. The tubular magazines hold up to 17 22LR rounds, more for 22 long and short. I want to know if this magazine is legal in Chicago. I believe it is exempt from Cook County's high capacity magazine ban, being bolt action and 22LR. I've been doing some research but would also like to hear other opinions. I'm trying to find an organization in Chicago that might know as well.
Is this rifle still in production? Anyone have opinions on this rifle? Iβm not certain but Iβm more into the model with the tubular magazine rather than detachable magazine model. I think with the 22β barrel it would be good to put a scope and a bipod to do some long range.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

I adore the ascetics of the pump and lever-action shotguns, admire the speed of semi-auto shotguns, and appreciate the simplicity of single-shot and double-barrel break action shotguns. I thought that was basically it in terms of variety, when I discovered the existence of bolt-action shotguns. I'm honestly intrigued by them, and really want one. But that's besides the point. I'm curious as to why they fell out of popularity, and if they are actually a very valuable and viable tool compared to the alternatives.
Why do I like them so much?
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
hello, I created a new account just for this... here is my story.
A couple years ago when I was 40 my wife (38), probably after reading some article in a magazine, ask me to get a βtoy" or some sort of vibrator. I was all up for it and one-night coming out from work I stopped at the biggest sex shop in the city.
I quickly got overwhelm by all the options. I was not sure what to take so I went for a regular one, I remember telling myself: βfuck it, since I'm here I'll make sure to take a big oneβ. So, I got an 8x5 ish massive pink dildo.
That night, when were ready to use it, I whip it out of the box and show it the wife, Other than the facts that she was expecting something more modern and slicker than a veiny pink dildo... she said: βThat's about your size...β
I startedΒ laughing out loud and saying that she's crazy, at the same time bringing the dildo next to my erect penis to show her how wrong she was.
Other than the dildo was very perfectly tubular in size she was right, I was measuring out. In disbelief I was telling myself: βI have a big dickβ?
Same night I found that sub, then measure my dick properly at 8x5.5 maybe 15 times.
Then I was like: βnow what?β
20 years with the same women, I am the only men she's been with, she'sΒ from a traditional household so she never really watches porno.
It's been 2 years now; nothing has changed, I was happy and still happy or in some case I was miserable and still miserable LOL
TL; DR: Figured out I had a big dick at 40 years Old, nobody gives a fuck.
CHAPTER 8: THE DUNE SEA
βI canβt see shit,β Cooper complained, peering through his scope as he cycled through view modes using the bulky switches on his console. FLIR, infrared, night vision. Nothing could penetrate the swirling sand that choked the air.
βIf this is going to go down like the ambush in the massif, then itβs gonna be like shooting clay pigeons,β the Sergeant replied. βThe Rask threw everything they had at us, and they barely scratched our paint.β
βYeah, well we donβt want to let them surround us either,β Cooper replied. He leaned over to give his commander a tap on the shoulder with his prosthetic arm. βTrust me, mate. Been there, done that, got the bloody t-shirt.β
βJust keep your eyes on the kill zone,β he said. βTheyβre supposed to be coming in from the West, but they may try to flank to our South.β
Charlie company was at the bottom of a three-pronged defensive formation, with Bravo and Alpha positioned North of them. The three mechanized companies had created a wall in anticipation of the Rask assault, with the Yagda and its accompanying artillery company far to their rear. The Kodiaks were spaced out far enough that they could only just see one another in the haze, positioned hull-down to make themselves harder to hit, their armor covered with camouflaged netting. Between them were dugouts that ran along the crests of the dunes, little more than foxholes that would provide some measure of cover for the huddling infantry, their rifles aimed at the slope below. Their IFVs were nearby, their own netting blowing in the wind as they stood ready to provide support for their squads.
βNo satellite imaging, no drones, low vis,β Barry muttered from the driverβs seat below. βHow are we supposed to see them coming?β
βGod gave you organics for a reason,β the Sergeant replied.
The minutes ticked by, nothing but blowing sand filling Cooperβs viewfinder. The waiting was wearing thin on him, so many hours of nothing, followed by short bursts of frenetic battle.
Something suddenly lit up the swirling dust from somewhere above, Cooper switching to the Kodiakβs external cameras to see what was going on. From far to their rear, a stream of bright tracer fire illuminated the sky, the light diffused by the storm to make it fuzzy and indistinct. It was a CIWS gun, painting glowing trails as it weaved back and forth, trying to intercept something. There was an explosion, glowing like the sun as seen through an overcast sky, slowly fading as he watched

It really does, I swear!
I don't think that the AKs are broken in any way, the RPK should have one less CQB damage, and the other two RPKs are somewhat too good and could see significant nerfs, but otherwise, the class is pretty balanced overall. However, they still could be better, mostly because of minor aesthetic problems, but also the lack of gimmicks as opposed to other classes. Also, while the SKS is not an AK, I will be considering it to be one during this post. This is a pretty big post, but a lot of the changes are relatively simple, and most of the length is from formatting.
First, aesthetics changes. The biggest change would be to completely rework optics mounting. AK-style weapons have a multitude of mounting options, but, unfortunately, this game has only the rarest and ugliest one (swept-back side rail). Additionally, AKs have a very high height over bore, so many of the optics in the game are mounted wrong. Gameplay-wise, it just feels uncomfortable to have the optic so close to your face. The way that I would suggest it be done is to divide optics into different categories.
None of this applies to AK-12s and AK-100s, except for the microdot mini not having a riser due to high over bore. Additionally, some AKs (perhaps AKM, SKS, and the krink, along with my suggestion at the bottom) should have optics in slot 2 instead of slot 1 as many people use these guns with wood skins, and wooden optics are ugly.

It's (soon to be) Wednesday and I wonder how Stace, Elera, and Ayen are doing. Let's find out!
****
Stace had been spending most of his time sleeping, but that didn't mean he was a particularly deep sleeper at the moment. The constant aching of his legs stopped him from getting meaningful rest. He had to go for quantity over quality.
That was why he awakened almost immediately to the feeling of a finger gently circling, teasing one of his nipples. His eyes snapped open, revealing Elera lying next to him, also awake. Before he could say anything, the large woman removed her hand, a finger coming up in a shushing gesture against her full dark lips, framed by two white tusks. She pointed to Stace's other side, where they could both hear Ayen softly snoring. Then Elera licked the tip of one long, purple finger and brought it back to his nipple, continuing to tease with the moistened digit.
It had been a long time since Stace had been physically intimate with anyone, even himself. He had sort of given up on it years ago. Perhaps that was why his skin felt so flushed, why he felt so sensitive. A whimper wormed its way out of him, and he raised a hand to grip hers. She kept on teasing, fanning her fingers out to drag them along his pale skin, and his hand just sort of came along for the ride. When she leaned over and ran her rough, inhuman tongue along the helix of Stace's ear, he couldn't help it. He moaned.
Ayen rolled over, an arm draping over the human's chest, and his voice came out in a sleepy, half-awake drawl. "It's okay, Stace. You're okay." The snoring returned almost immediately. Did Stace really moan in his sleep so often that comforting him had become a reflex? Regardless, Ayen's arm neatly protected him from Elera's teasing fingers.
On his chest at least.
Those fingers instead traced his abdomen, faint touches that left tingles in their wake. Her teeth pinched gently at his earlobe and Stace gasped. Ayen's arm tightened more snugly around him. His mind seemed to be locking up; Stace didn't want to wake Ayen, but he couldn't help the noises Elera was forcing out of him.
"Do you want me to stop?" The words were so quiet they were almost inaudible, accompanied by a hot breath that tickled Stace's ear. He honestl
