What do you guys think are some of Tori’s most underrated songs? I feel like there are some real hidden gems that I rarely see anyone talk about. For me, 16 Shades of Blue is criminally underrated, I just love that song but no one seems to acknowledge it’s existence.

I was a huge Tori Amos fan in the nineties; those first three records have been major fixtures in my life since I was a teenager. But I didn't love Choirgirl or To Venus And Back with the same passion (I think I found them over-produced) and then she somehow dropped off my radar.
But I've heard some songs off Ocean to Ocean, and they're great, and I feel like I want to make up for lost time. I've got two decades of albums to catch up on, though, and it feels a bit daunting.
If you were trying to get someone into post-nineties Tori, where would you start?

So I am watching Legion on Disney+ and I am loving it! It's so so good. Better than I ever expected. It really exemplifies the chaos of life. At least life as I know it.
Cornflake Girl was mentioned in the series a few times. And I wondered if that is a reference to Tori Amos (who made a song Cornflake Girl)
S2 - Ep02 - David says to Lenny at the beginning of the episode. When the are on the merry-go-round. When David asks Lenny if she is really her. "Are you you at all? Lenny from the hospital, the cornflake girl?"
S2 - Ep09 - When Lenny talks to the blond lady painting her toenails - after she introduces herself she says "Cornflake Girl"...and then the girl just says "Cooooooollll".
I did a quick search and found a Cornflake Girl cover by Noah Hawley Jeff Russo which was done for the the Legion Show it seems.
I'm a huge Tori Amos fan. Her music saved my life many times. So was really excited to see her song referenced in the show! And thought I would ask some of you to see if you had any information on the relevance of it?

Tori Amos came out with an album recently - Ocean to Ocean. It is a gorgeous and intimate album.
To me, it has similar vibes to Aerial. Mainly, the storytelling, reverence/awe of nature, and some sonic connections. The first released single (Speaking with Trees) starts with Tori singing vibrato just like Kate did in Bertie.
Aerial is more upbeat and varied, but OtO is a very cohesive, gorgeous album that just brings me back to when I started to fall in love with Aerial.
