A list of puns related to "Thimerosal"
When looking for information about the HepB vaccine I see multiple studies that are on the old vaccine that contains thimerosal. They seem to point towards a high potential for developmental delays, so they removed thimerosal. However, it appears as if no similar studies were done on the newer version that substitutes high doses of aluminum for the thimerosal.
I ask this because the day 1 HepB vaccine is the only vaccine that my now 1 year old has received. The hospital insisted it was necessary despite my wife and I being negative for HepB, and I didn't think to consider it after 2 relatively sleepless days in the hospital. A few hours later he was crying uncontrollably. At that point I started looking up information about this day 1 vaccine for a disease prevalent in IV drug users, sex workers, and medical professionals exposed to infected blood.
I've read the series of articles from Children's Health Defense that contain a few studies from Chinese researchers on mice over the last few years, but it's unclear whether they're on the thimerosal free vaccine.
Now at 1 year old my son doesn't say any words, vomits when he eats most solids, and is only just starting to take steps, doesn't respond to his name, and I regret letting him get that vaccine. At least if he hadn't I'd know his delays are natural. We had intended to start his other vaccinations at 1 year with only 1 a month, but now that's even questionable. He has had no fevers or illnesses otherwise.
All multi-dose vaccines except for 5 use Thimerosal as their preservative.
None of these 5 Thimerosal-free multi-dose vaccines are in the common schedule of vaccines a normal person will receive in their lifetime.
Thimerosal is an organic mercury compound.
Some single dose vaccines still contain small amounts of Thimerosal.

"activity of low doses of Thimerosal against isolated human and animal brain cells was found in all studies and is consistent with Hg neurotoxicity"
"Thimerosal at concentrations relevant for infants' exposure (in vaccines) is toxic to cultured human-brain cells and to laboratory animals."
and yet... https://www.cdc.gov/flu/protect/vaccine/thimerosal.htm
"Flu vaccines in multi-dose vials contain thimerosal to safeguard against contamination of the vial. Most single-dose vials and pre-filled syringes of flu shot and the nasal spray flu vaccine do not contain a preservative because they are intended to be used once."
Hi, I need help finding studies on:
I used to have access to search engines through my college student account but have lost it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Anti-vaxxer relative sent me a link to this article: https://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/2014/247218/. Not questioning the safety of vaccines but I'm genuinely curious if thimerosal is harmful in vaccines or not?

>SYMPTOMS: Symptoms of exposure to this class of compounds includes aphthous stomatitis, catarrhal gingivitis, nausea, liquid stools, pain, liver disorder, injury to the cardiovascular system and hematopoietic system, deafness and ataxia. Exposure may be fatal. Headache, paresthesia of the tongue, lips, fingers and toes, other non-specific dysfunctions, metallic taste, slight gastrointestinal disturbances, excessive flatus and diarrhea may occur. Acute poisoning may cause gastrointestinal irritation and renal failure. Earl signs of severe poisoning include fine tremors of extended hands, loss of side vision, slight loss of coordination in the eyes, speech, writing and gait, inability to stand or carry out voluntary movements, occasional muscle atrophy and flexure contractures, generalized myoclonic movements, difficulty understanding ordinary speech, irritability and bad temper progressing to mania, stupor, coma, mental retardation in children, skin irritation, blisters and dermatitis. Other symptoms include chorea, athetosis, tremors, convulsions, pain and numbness in the extremities, nephritis, salivation, loosening of the teeth, blue line on the gums, anxiety, mental depression, insomnia, hallucinations and central nervous system effects. Exposure may also cause irritation of the eyes, mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract.
