A list of puns related to "Tendulkar"
Hello Reddit. This is the first article/stat analysis I'm posting on r/Cricket. I hope to continue doing this on a regular basis. Would love to hear feedback and get a discussion going on how to improve upon this work in the future.
Sachin Tendulkar was perhaps the most complete batsman of his generation. A prodigious 16 year old who tantalized the cricketing world when he played with poise in England in 1989 and then ended his career with a hundred centuries to his name, he remains the most popular cricketer on earth by a fair margin even a decade after his retirement.
An interesting aspect of Sachin's career has been his massive fandom. The sheer number of Indian fans makes every dismissal a tragedy and every boundary a joyous celebration, each getting replayed a thousand times over. Going over Youtube videos of Sachin Tendulkar has been a guilty pleasure of mine over the past year or so. I do appreciate good punches off the backfoot. In one of these binges, I stumbled upon a gem of a video by the peerless Robelinda. This is a video of the infamous LBW decision that Steve Bucknor gave to Sachin in a test against Australia at the MCG in 2008. Even without a replay one can see that the ball was clearly going well over the wickets. As of this moment, the video has been viewed over 4 million times with most comments ridiculing the decision. Bucknor himself has stated that there are two occasions in which he deemed Sachin to be out on an incorrect decision with the 2008 decision being one of them. We must also remember that Steve Bucknor was universally regarded as one of the best international umpires going around for the majority of his career. It was only later when he was getting older that people started questioning if his decision making was beginning to suffer.
Some of the comments on the Youtube video are quite hilarious with several noting how Bucknor was the only bowler that Sachin ever feared. Another comment mentions how Sachin had to settle for a hundred centuries thanks to Steve Bucknor. Anyways, this led me to start questioning whether Bucknor was actually responsible for bringing down Sachin's average in a significant manner. Did Sachin perform significantly worse in innings that were officiated by Steve Bucknor? Or was it just several incorrect decisions due to h
Common men are paying 115 rs/litre. 1000 for cylinder. And sachin is keeping money in Belize. Can't get any more fucked up.
Excerpt - Kartik Aryan is smitten by Sachin Tendulkarβs daughter Saraβs all smiles picture. Going by her post, Sara is in London and she captioned the picture as, βAll smiles in the city.β Her post caught the attention of Bollywoodβs heartthrob Kartik Aryan and he is smitten by her all smile picture.
My personal thoughts - Tbh, would have cared less about his "like" on a post on sm but as I was going through the articles, had the below questions and I am hoping this sub will add some color.

The former President of Cricket Club of India (CCI) Madhav Apte was so impressed by then 15 years old Sachin's batting that he amended the rules so that Sachin could get entry in the club. The rules have never been changed since then for any other player. What a freak genius Sachin was.
I saw this in a Sky Sports series on "Cricket in Mumbai" by Nasser Hussain. What an extraordinary service Sky Sports, Nasser and Atherton are doing for the cricket community. Kudos to them. Here is the playlist.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Dr. BR Ambedkar, and many more have won the Bharat Ratna for their outstanding contributions to the development of the country. Giving the same prize to a fraudster invalidates the work of these great individuals.
