A list of puns related to "Tattletales"
Iβm a month into a Culinary Director position overseeing both front and back of house. Iβve got a pretty good staff, but thereβs one prep cook that really just irks me. When sheβs scheduled I get almost no work accomplished that day because sheβs in my office every 5 minutes, or following me around the kitchen, to tell me what someone else is doing or show me a TikTok recipe. She desperately wants me to write up the breakfast cook because she feels he doesnβt do enough, but yesterday all she accomplished in 8 hours was to make 96 (4β) apple pies with frozen shells! And she literally cried because of how stressful that was for her.
Normally I would push on her until she either became more productive or left on her own, but the rest of the staff loves her. Many have known her for over a decade and worked with her at other places in town. They knew her when she was an addict and saw her go from her lowest point to where she is now. (Sober, house, stable job, car, etc.)
Iβve been working really hard to gain the staffβs trust and judging from the feedback they have been giving my ED, they really enjoy working with me so far. Iβm worried any kind of corrective action with her will really upset the balance I have in the department right now. Seriously though, I canβt listen to her tell me again that the dishwasher took a second smoke break since he got in. Like I donβt care, he can take 50 smoke breaks as long as the dishes are clean, his closing duties get done, and Iβm not looking for him to run silverware or glasses in a rush.
Seriously replies please, Iβm banging my head against a wall with this one.
I want to see Tattletale's power pushed as far as it will go. I want to see her wielding information as viciously as possible. None of this woobie-saintly-Lisa shit, let's see the Lisapocalypse.
I.e., would her powers tell her there was a magical perception filter if she encountered the Leaky Cauldron or the Ministry of Magic phone booth? And if someone cast a Memory Charm on her, would her powers tell her "Hey, that guy just wiped your memory of magic, using magic?"
I remember Dinah in (I think) Trailblazer making a comment about a possible timeline where Lisa is Coil, or at least the villain thatβs looking to kidnap her.
Are there any stories where this is the case? Where Lisa is Coil or at least Brockton Bayβs resident Bond villain?
Iβd really like to see a story where the plot progresses through Calvert dying and then Lisa has a monologue explaining how Calvert was her patsy the whole time and does a 180 and turns on the Undersiders.
As a teen, I learned a valuable lesson: your co-workers are not your friends.
When I was a teenager (waaaaaay back), I worked for about three weeks in a grocery store in the Netherlands. When I had to come in on a saturday, I sprained my arm and tried to call in sick. They didn't think it was a good excuse to stay home, so I had to go to work. In their infinite wisdom, they decided that the kid with the sprained arm had to put up posters and scan produce all day, both for which you need both arms constantly.
I wasn't impressed by the galaxy brain manager, to say the least. So when one co-worker which I kinda liked stood next to me, I told him that "I must be invaluable, otherwise I could have stayed home", with a laugh afterwards.
Well, one hour later, the manager was fuming with rage and called me in his office. I was fired on the spot for my remark against my co-worker. Apparently, the guy was a freaking toddler and ran off to daddy to tattletale on my mean, mean words.
I was actually glad I got fired (it was a shitty job anyway) and soon after, I got to work for the national mail as a mail delivery, making sure I just got to listen music all day on my bike while being outdoors, with no co workers in sight. Best decision ever.
Saw someone in r/Parahumans talk about not wanting to see a Psychic TT. All I see here is a brilliant idea.
Dont care who the MC is and if its a crossover or just an alt power. Bonus point if the bank scene with Vicky claiming TT isnt one only for her to prove that she is.
Thank you!
Hello, I'm looking for any and all fics that have Lisa's Interlude or POV and explores her power.
Not those ones where Lisa sees a raised eyebrow and instantly learns everything from the persons social security number to their sexual fantasies, but those clever ones where little details keep adding up and forming a cohesive picture.
Doesn't have to be completely canon-like, but not cartoonish and outlandish either.
Thanks in advance.
Daddy spills tea on the white fence Mummy has recently painted. 3yo: "Mummy is not going to be happy about that." Daddy: "Should we tell her the truth, or shall we say someone else did it?" 3yo: "We should tell her the truth." Daddy: "Yup, fair enough. We should try to always tell the truth, and we should definitely always tell the truth to Mummy. Will you do that?" 3yo: "Yes, I'll definitely tell Mummy that you spilt tea on the fence."
I see tons of fanfics where TT meets an OP Taylor who just one-shotted Lung and practically instantly begs her to kill Coil to set her free.
But I feel like those authors are jumping the gun quite a bit. Coil may have press-ganged Lisa into joining him, but she still has a really cozy job where she gets paid to do low stakes crimes for fun and profit. I feel like in canon it wasn't until after Coil pulled the Dinah stuff and broke the unwritten rules against the E88 that she started having any serious thoughts about getting away from Coil. Before that she seemed to be generally alright with how her life was going and I severely doubt that she would risk it all by joining up with a random strong cape she just met.
I really liked Lisa when I originally read canon, and somehow still like her after years of fanfic, so I'm looking for stories either from her PoV or heavily involving her. Ideally, without severely twisting her towards the woobie or bashing ends of the spectrum.
Shamus and The Typewriter Chronicles are already on my to-do list but I think pretty much anything else is fair game.
I just had a discussion with my daughter about her class and some "pushing, shoving, and kicking" happening. She wasn't involved in any of those instances. She said that the teacher told the whole class they need to "not be tattletales" and that they need to talk to the person before saying anything to a teacher. What concerns me is that my daughter is very literal and that saying something like that to a child that young just encourages them to fear speaking up when they see/encounter something that is wrong.
Edit/Update:
TL;DR: Didn't work, but his folks are now seeing if they can pay me back (in lieu of the roommate) for being "a good person".
I contacted both his parents on Facebook, and his mom got back to me a few days later. I made clear I wasn't asking them to pay his tab or anything, just that I had hoped they could talk some sense into him. She said she tried to contact him, but he has distanced himself from them (not quite "estranged" level, but close to it, apparently). I said my thanks and to have a blessed day (even if I'm not religious, why not punch up the politeness factor, eh?), and she said they will be "praying he sees the light".
A few days ago, I got a message from the landlords saying that the doucheroommate STILL had some stuff in the house (mind you, our lease-end/final moveout was July 12). This stuff included his bible, his police certificates (former/disgraced cop), a bunch of summons paperwork (that he legally had to destroy on termination from the job, but of course didn't), and a large stack of pictures "of a personal nature" according to the landlords.
I figured this would be a great opportunity to get his forwarding address (to later serve him court papers) with him being none-the-wiser. Unfortunately, he said to just throw 'em out and to eff off. Being the vindictive mfer that I am, I decided not to let a petty revenge opportunity go to waste.
So I contacted his mom again to explain the situation and see if she knew his forwarding address. I emphasized that "I can't, in good conscious, have the landlords throw out his personal bible, certificates, and pictures that should all be very important to him."
Unfortunately again, his mom didn't have his address, and he had been ignoring them lately, so she couldn't get it from him. Luckily, though, she said she could pick up the items. So I middlemanned between her and the landlords and set up a time for her to go pick the stuff up.
She messaged me later that day to tell me she got the stuff, had a nice chat with the landlords, and thanked me profusely for "saving her family bible" (like this douche was going to have the landlords throw out a family heirloom like that?! I didn't even know it was that important to his fam). She didn't say anything about the pictures, but I can only imagine what "of a personal nature" meant and how tragically hilarious it must be for his mom to find them.
Then she messaged me today thanking me again about the bible and the rest of the

Basic info? I(22F) may be the asshole? I work for a pizza chain in the us. Two of my coworkers(26F) (24F)(who trained me and were what I considered to be very good friends) have recently stopped speaking to me for the most part. I was transferred out before this because I was promoted and given my own store.
My store was going through it I kept losing managers(another story) our boss asked them to send over some managers to help so I wouldnβt be working 60+ hours a week. I was grateful! Still am. The thing is they think Iβm a tattle take? The guy came and helped but wasnβt fully trained. I wasnβt made aware of this at all so when my boss called and asked how his close was I was honest. I had already spoken to my coworkers about and even said they got a rush super late so I understood that some of the state of my store was due to this. I just wanted everyone to be on the same page. A week passes and he closes at my store again so I decide to close with him to help do some training because he obviously didnβt understand how to do the money and thatβs important lol. I asked if he received any addition training at his home store and he said no. I was a little upset because yeah I even closed with him myself already working 60+ hours a week. So our boss called at the end of the next week and asked how it went and I said better that I had closed with him but that he hadnβt received any training at his home store so idk how much it helped. I guess he brought it up to them maybe? Because the 26F sent me a screenshot of their convo of her saying he wasnβt ready. I was like? Where did this come from? So I just said I was confused and that all I was told is that I was getting help so I said thanks. All Iβm trying to do is make sure this kid is fully trained in the long run to help all of us out. But yeah she told me it felt like I was telling on them and now they both ignore me so AITA?
Edit: in convo with 26F she told me to help them help me and train him as well she wasnβt even aware I had already closed with him myself.
The Entites crippled Contessa's shard because she was using it against them, but Tattletale was able to use her to figure out about shards and the Endbringers without the Entities doing anything. So, what was Contessa crippled but TT wasn't. It it because Eden is dead and Scion didnt know what to do about it?
There is a TLDR at the end.
A year ago on September 4th 2020 69 dropped his follow up to his studio debut (Dummy Boy) titled TattleTales. 69 is no stranger to controversy but received his most after turning state's witness and testifying in court against the 9 trey bloods. This angered many people that cosplay as gangsters on the internet and many thought 69 would be finished.
About a year later 69 on is released on house arrest and goes on insta live and sets the record at 2 million watchers (has since been broken). He then goes on to make the "house arrest trilogy" releasing videos for 3 songs GOOBA, TROLLZ, and YAYA (PUNANI was released when he was free). Contrary to what others thought, not only was 69 still here, he was still rapping about the same old gang stuff and embraced being a snitch. And his songs were very popular, even securing a #1 spot and forcing Billboard to change its merch bundle rules. Things seemed to look good for 69, until TattleTales came out and sold 56k copies first week, well under its 150k projection charting at #4 on the Billboard 200.
TattleTales has a half hour run time across 15 tracks. It has less features than "Dummy Boy" due to a black ball on 69, much to the project's detriment. 69 also employs a much more subdued rap style on most of the project. I'll go track by track rating it and giving my thoughts.
Akon got a lot of heat for putting 69 on his classic song "Locked Up". 69 is introspective here reflecting on how he got in his predicament. It is interesting to hear his side, but his vocals are grating at points and Akon is the best part of the song. - 4/10
No feature listed but it sounds like there is someone else hitting high notes. Personally this person hurts the song. The song is basically a "I have a lot of money and you're all my sons" song. It isn't that bad and is a good example of the more subdued 69 rap style employed on the album. - 5/10
The first single from the project, this song is a normal 69 song having him yell and threaten you. He also embraces being a snitch and calls out people clout chasing him. 6/10
Another example of the subdued rap style 69 tries to employ on this project, I think it is pretty solid and it definitely helps that the song is under 2 min. - 7/10
This song features SMILEZ, one of the biggest goober nerd ass jocks in the world. And he's 100% an industry plant. His verse isn't terrible he

Here I am, driving home from work when suddenly the thought hits me. Everyone seems to compare Lisaβs power to βSherlock on steroidsβ, but has anyone ever put this to the test?
Iβm looking for any story, snippet, omake, or half-baked thought thatβs been posted where these two meet.
Bonus points if Sherlock wins on a technicality, such as Lisaβs power blue screening because βYouβre not even a real person!β
If you read the title in the ERB announcer voice, congratulations because thatβs what I typed it in.
I'm re-watching the series. And unlike normal, when I would start over about the time Elena turns into a vampire, I'm forcing my self to finish it. I've always disliked Enzo but I forgot how much of a absolute piss-ant he was. Every time he is on screen I want to fast forward. He's like a little vindictive high school girl. (sorry for the stereotype, but that's what he reminds me of)
