A list of puns related to "Sunbonnet"
I wanted to share this free sewing pattern because it's the cutest thing I've ever seen. Brb making this hat/bonnet for all my friends with babies.

So, no matter if your little one is big enough to toddle around this spring or is still just snuggled in your arms, sheβll look good doing it. Oh, and the sun will be out of her eyes too. Β β Corinne

Someone else posted last week, a video of loading a quilt to be longarmed (is that a word, even?!). I took a quick video of myself stitching out a single square of this Sunbonnet Sue appliquΓ© I have on my frame. Iβm just outlining things right now, while I figure out what to do for filler around things.

And here's the finished product from a different block. I'll trim and bury all the threads when it comes off the frame.

I swear to god it looks like a plastic UFO hovering 2 cm above Nikki's head. This was my best attempt at making an outfit but it still looks absolutely ridiculous Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

Hi! I'm a newbie to quilting. My grandmother used to make Sunbonnet Sue/Dutch Doll quilts and so I wanted to make one for my mom. She used to hand quilt though and I don't hand sew. The only quilt I ever made was a strip quilt, so not too difficult, and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on sewing a Sunbonnet Sue/Dutch Doll quilt on a regular sewing machine. Is it possible? I'm still saving up for a longarm.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
