Iβm sure this has been asked numerous times, but Howlβs Moving Castle, Castle in the Sky, and Grave of the Fireflies are personal favorites of mine. Granted, they are some of Miyazaki and Takahataβs most well-known productions in addition to others such as My Neighbor Totoro. Iβm asking out of curiosity to also see if anyone has favorites that might be less popular.

A few months ago, I saw that one of the bigger Japanese publishing company (don't remember if it was Kadokawa or someone else) did a big poll on which series they publish should get an anime adaptation. There was a ton of choices, and even I voted.
So I am thinking, couldn't some dubbing studio do a poll that features either every undubbed show they have the rights to, or could get the rights to, in order to see if they missed out on some hidden gem, that people really want to get a second chance for? I mean the numbers don't lie, and it would be a good indicator on what would sell.
Also on a side note, Japan should also do a similar poll for shows that people want to see get more sequels. But who am I kidding, NGNL would win in a landslide..
Or maybe you fall somewhere in the middle. Let's talk about it.
I've only been listening to this band for a few months and I don't have the history/nostalgia with this discography that I'm sure others here must have. I've always been attracted to the heavier side of grunge (Soundgarden, Alice in Chains), but I liked what I heard of the singles on the radio and finally took the plunge last year. Here are my rankings - with some brief thoughts.
- Vs. - This is one explosive album, and probably their heaviest! Propulsive drumming, great songwriting. I loved this so much I ran out and grabbed a vinyl copy as soon as I could find it.
- Ten - Anthemic, classic album... What's impressive here is that even the songs that haven't been played to death on the radio are just as compelling.
- Vitalogy - Like the first two but I love the quirkiness creeping in at the margins on this album.
- No Code - Really appreciate the variety on here - "Sometimes" reminds me of a Velvet Underground song. Less "grunge" and more eclectic rock. Really wonderful stuff.
- Yield - This one is linked to No Code in my mind, but it ranks slightly lower because I find it takes less risks.
- Gigaton - LOVE the new album... the synth-pop "Dance of the Clairvoyants" is great and the rest of the album features wonderfully dramatic songs.
- Riot Act - A cool, brooding feel to this album, although I understand this left a lot of fans cold at the time.
- Backspacer - This one reminds me a bit of No Code/Yield, and it's refreshingly short and too the point, but not quite as memorable as those albums.
- Binaural - And this one is linked to Riot Act (obviously) but I feel the writing on that album is much more successful.
- Avocado - See Below
- Lightning Bolt - These last two albums are good but conventional rock albums. I like them fine but nothing about them stands out to my ears. That obviously may change with time...
Basically all the musicians I follow big and small have been doing videos from home, studio or even rented places. Acoustic stuff, whatever, just play some songs casual and uploading to youtube some do lives some don't. Even more worked on things and little concerts.
I don't understand why Taylor doesn't do it. She just drops something very polished when she is promoting an album, as a single or things like the long pond sessions very prepared and for a streaming service you have to pay.
Why do you think everything has to be so calculated and always related to a release?
What I mean is just something that they purposely do for the fans of marvel and its projects to enjoy. Not Easter eggs but something like >! Matt Murdock being Peter Parker's lawyer in No Way Home !> or in Iron Man 3 Yinsen making an appearance early on in the movie.
I'm not referring to movies or shows. I'm saying something that happened in the movie or show. Not an entire movie.
Iβm wondering if anyone has tried out the new studio in El Segundo, CA. I went for the first time and they mentioned to me that they are trying to become a βteir 5β studio by December 1 and recommended me upgrading my already Premium membership.
Has anyone had a similar experience, also any info on what being a tier 5 studio means?!

I can't find a post about this so I decided to put it here. It may not belong here or may be better for a megathread so apologies in advance for possible clutter report away to take it down.
During yesterday's Xbox Fan Fest Trivia stream Bonnie Ross (head of 343 industries) was supposed to be a guest but the hosts said she was pulled away last minute for something "super important". I tried to find a recording of the stream to timestamp it and get better context but could not find one sooo.... just trust me guys. /s
But in all seriousness I don't think this is a big pointer to the previous rumors but more of another hint at something pressing happening at 343. I guess that's the best way to say it. If the rumor about the "campaign bug" was true, her being pulled away would make sense if it was an important internal issue that needed addressing.
