A list of puns related to "Stars Of Cctv"
Surely having CCTV would help solve crimes/mysteries or find alien intruders a lot more easily. It seems to take days for them to piece together clues when something like that happens.
Edit: Thanks for the great debate people. It just isn't as common as I expected it to be.
I really like that, sticking up for freedom of expression and not bowing down to China. This press conference is definitely going to help people build their respect for him back up.

Bike was in my flat block's bike racks, chained up and under CCTV. Stolen in the wee hours by someone with a set of boltcutters. Pretty conspicuous, you'd think. Notified the police, they said they wouldn't review the footage due to lack of resources. Said to tell the housing association so their security could review it instead. Fair enough, I thought, police are busy and don't have the time to trawl through about 9hrs of footage.
Housing association said they wouldn't have their security company review the footage, and that this was a job for the police. I offered to do it myself but that's impossible due to "data protection". Informed the police, they said they'd order the housing association to order their security company to review the footage. Since then the police have let me know the matter is now closed due to their receiving no CCTV evidence.
Now this either means one of the other organisations didn't play ball, or the police never ordered them to do so. I've received no response either way. Whilst speaking with the police, they kept asking as to the value of the bike, as though this only qualifies as a crime worth investigating if the bike is above some arbitrary value, even though this is likely to be one of a series of repeat offences.
So I pay my taxes, and pay the housing association a monthly fee so they can do the bare minimum in maintaining the block's common areas/facilities (i.e. CCTV). Is it entitled of me to expect that to mean something?

Obviously we all know that at the end of the year the channel's current iteration is going to be gone, but listening to them talk about it today on the podcast made it more real to me today for some reason.
Along side of that, it's kinda weird to listen to people talk about "When I know I lose my job in 6 months...", and then 5 months, 4, etc.
It just seems like a really weird life for the crew to be living at the moment, and it's interesting to hear them speak about it as the end gets closer.
Is there a subreddit for CCTV footages of these?
So this morning (between 0400-0415) I was jumped by a group of 6/7 young guys on my way home from Shooshh. The attack happened on East Street in the south lanes.
During my walk, I was spontaneously hit on the back of the head, I turned around to see a blonde chap aged between 18/25 that was shouting some crap about someone and something, although I think he was just looking for an excuse to beat someone up. I had never seen this person before and I had certainly done nothing that could provoke such an attack.
After I turned around, he hit me some more. I stood my ground and did not retaliate, I simply told him they obviously had the wrong guy. At this point, 3 more if his mates (same age) start walking towards me and proceeded to hit me. It was at this point that some older fella (50s) who was also with them came up between them and me and told me I should run. I turned and ran. Luckily I am quite a fast runner so I made some good distance (still down East Street) until I slipped and fell. It was at this point that 6 of them turned up and proceeded to kick the shit out of me while I was on the floor.
Eventually I got up and ran, where I called the police and explained everything stood next to a pub called the plump something (i can't remember). The police then came 15 minutes later and took me home as I was bleeding all down my face and my side. My phone has also been completely smashed to pieces.
Soon after I went to A&E in the early hours of this morning where I've had CT scans and have been told that my nose is broken and my thumb is also broken. My head is in a lot of pain at the moment and I have a constant ringing etc.
Due to the time of this incident, I doubt there were any witnesses, if there is any shop owners on East Street that may have some CCTV footage then I'd be very grateful if you could contact me.
Luckily, I came away quite well off considering, but if this is a regular occurrence, I doubt others will be so lucky. Especially if there are any girls walking back at this time, as I would be fearful of they're safety.
I hope I can get the police to do something to catch these assholes.
Stay vigilant.
Edit 1:
Thank you everyone for the kind comments and advice about how to proceed next.
After reading these comments and having conversations with various people over the weeked, I have noticed concern over the polices grasp of the situation, so I thought I would go into more detail on this matter for people to consider when thinki
