I hear Conowingo has some snakeheads up there, and a lot of southern Maryland bodys of water have them. Has anyone seen any up Loch Raven or Lake Roland? Is there any other places you’d recommend fishing for them if you don’t mind me asking? I know a lot of people don’t like sharing spots to where they catch them which is understandable. But what kinda bait do y’all like to use to catch them?
I’ve always been a casual fisherman but lately I’ve got the bug and have been getting out a lot. I live in Cecil County Maryland and Snakeheads have been all the buzz around here lately and I want one badly lol
I’m surrounded by all different types of waterways and have tried a few different methods with no luck.
Last night is was in a boat basin and could see them on top of the shallow water in the corners. I threw rooster tails and chatterbaits right across their face and can’t get them to bite.
Talk to me about any experience you may have with them. Behaviors, fielding patterns etc etc. I heard they are smart. What’s your guys thoughts. Thanks!
Hi guy i hope i can post this without it being pulled down.
I really need someones help my snakehead has started twitching 3/4 of the way down his body near his tail. Almost like he has a kink or something stuck inside him. Seems happy and is still eating checked water perimeters and everything okay. If anyone can help would appreciate as Internet doesn't help.
