A list of puns related to "Smithy"
In my game, if you want martial weapons or medium/heavy armor, those items are beyond the skill of your garden variety blacksmith out in the boonies. So if there are no weapons lining the walls of the local smithy, what is he making instead?
When I did my first playthrough, learning about smithy was like a money cheat. It was fun at first but it completely ruins the early game struggle.
Instead of trying to nerf each op weapon's selling price, which I don't think it worked so far. I think removing the ability to craft things early game might work better.
In order to use the smithy you must own it. To own it you should pair a fair price, 50k-100k?
Just having money won't be enough to own an enterprise that powerful, you should also need good relations with the settlement owner, guild leader, faction.
Just rewatched series 3 did anyone think at the end of series 3 smithy and nessa were together.
As smithy said it not a grand love gesture and said if u want someone to help with your son you have me.
But then in 2019 special in last 9 years nessa and smithy hook up alot then nessa proposes to him at the end
I've been trying to figure this out, and I'm stumped.
How does the system track the +1 between troops? Does it add +1 to all troops? Or just to the ones that came from the outpost with the smithy?
I was looking at some of my infantry, and they don't look like they have any special bonus. Even the ones that were just recruited. I've got now 3 or 4 smithies, and I can't see that they are doing anything special for me.
Anyone else Experienced a issue with the smithy when you try to level smithing skill?
Yes I tested it with my mods and without my mods both crashed.
Works until you reach a certain point then when you open the smithy it crashes due to Sandbox 1.7 being the issue?
I think it would be fair to have Blacksmithsβ bank accounts grow commensurately with the cost of repairs, making more resales possible between inventory resets.
I'll try to be short, but feel free to ask questions if needed.
I'm an aspiring future blacksmith (and long time enthusiast / armchair smith) getting ready to finally begin my journey. I've got an anvil, made up a firepot template I'll weld up after the new year, and have nowhere yet to hold my tools and work.
I thought it might be economical to build myself a small shed, but an on grade shed (temporary structure / tax purposes) plan usually has a standard 2x and plywood construction floor (sub ideal). I thought I'd just nix the floor and work on the dirt, but unsure of structural stability without a floor to tie in the bottom.
So, what do you use for a smithy? Where do you work? How do you like it, and what recommendations do you have for either a dream workshop or a humble economical beginning shop?
Many thanks to all.
My smithy bench was empty of all it's materials and blueprints when I logged on yesterday. Also my arty Pooter died by a dino who clamped down on it and wouldn't let go of him. And the backpack wasn't around. So weeks worth of drops gone in a couple hours. Anyone know what's up with the smithy?

So I've only just started but I was wondering with blueprints/recipes for the smithy and book. Do I have to carry them all the way back to their respective areas? And what's the best materials to make weapons and tools from?
I've tried selling Iron ingots and normal iron to meet the workshop's input and wait nearly a month in game to see if there were any results and so far nothing. Could it be that one of the villages supplying the Iron ores is not supplying because its part of another kingdom?
What am I doing wrong?
