Hello y'all. My bf just got us RFA three days ago, and I've been enjoying it a ton! As someone who isn't really intrinsically motivated to do most fitness exercises, this game pushes me in just the right way to keep going. Unfortunately, we had to dial it down on the jogging aspect of the game due to our poor neighbors being upset with the constant thumping sounds.
So, today I tried 'silent jogging' instead, and discovered it is some sort of squatting motion. It is indeed silent, but what I noticed is that it is a lot easier for me to do than the jog-in-motion, seemingly.
Now this might be because I have been accustomed to cycling ~20km daily for 7 years (I guess cycling mostly trains your upper legs right?), or maybe I am just imagining it.
Anyway, are these two types of movement actually comparable in energy expenditure/muscle use?

The community started to believe the account was legit for two main reasons: one was that their countdown predicted Hasan's video, the other was that the content of the channel seemed pretty convincing and contained hidden messages.
Well, the channel is actually fake and their videos are just a waste of time, and should not be considered as clues. I will show you compelling evidence that there is no chance that channel is legit.
Recently, I thought of a strategy to shed some light on this mess, and asked the community to come together to make that strategy a reality. Here's the post:

In short, I asked the community to mass report the YT Channel "AbandonedTheGame". This would have been a win-win situation in any scenario: if the channel was fake, it would have been taken down, and we would have cleared some mess; if it was legit, no amount of reports would have been enough to take it down, and we would have known that it was legit.
Well, the community took action, and over 60 reports for impersonation were sent to the YT channel.
Results: the channel had to take down some of the videos, it had to change some of the thumbnails, and it had to change the "about" section, in which it stated that it was the "Abandoned official channel". At first, they changed the about into the following statement:

He seems to suggest that you can do exactly what I describe (though he’d probably shudder at the use of the word enlightenment and probably substitute Truth. Actually, he’d shudder at all of this as he’s pretty picky about words, in general).

I volunteer on a crisis hotline once a week. Most of the time people who call the line just need someone to hear them. Someone to sit in the darkness with them so they know that they aren’t alone in their suffering.
We get calls from all types of people. Distressed teens, drug addicts, people fighting with mental illnesses. Elderly folks who have no one left to share their final days with. Third party callers who know someone who is displaying suicidal behavior. Many of the calls are silent, or the caller instantly hangs up.
Most calls center around loneliness. People going through hardship often feel like a burden when sharing their pain with friends and family - so they keep it bottled up inside where it festers and builds to a point where the pain is so overwhelming they would do anything to make it stop.
Our job is to listen and help them find options.
It’s not something I normally speak about, but I had once been on the other side of the line here. After years of struggling with alcohol addiction and a series of very bad choices, I’d hit rock bottom and this really had been my lifeline. Calling the hotline had been the first step on a long journey that I’m still far from finishing. But years of therapy and abstinence later, I feel like if I can be that the voice that pulls even one person out of that rut, all that might have been worth something.
I remember the first time that CALLERUNKNOWN called me. Our caller ID usually shows us the caller’s number unless they intentionally blocked it, so I thought it was probably a police department or some social service representative calling.
I work the midnight - 4am shift. I’m a pretty nocturnal guy to begin with and that shift needed the most help, so I had no problem signing up for it. Call volume is a lot lower during these hours, so it’s usually just me and a few other counsellors and one supervisor in the call center during this time.
CALLERUNKNOWN first contacted me at 1:27am on February 17th. I answered with my standard “Suicide Prevention Center, you’re speaking with ------. Can I get your name?”
There was no answer for a few seconds. This is pretty standard, especially with new callers who don’t know what to say once they’ve opened that door.

I was lying, for the third night in a row, in the dirt.
Amity, Regina, and I had taken to lying in wait overnight and sleeping during the day. The previous two attempts had been fruitless, but it wasn't as if we had much choice.
By the time we spotted them approaching, if we did at all, it would be too late to leave the hotel and try a stealthy approach. They'd be watching, likely from all angles, and they'd spot us coming out. It wouldn't take a genius to know what we'd be doing, and it would give away the element of surprise.
So we spent the nights hiding out near where we thought Simon's toys might post up.
Aside from the boredom, it hadn't been too bad. The previous nights I'd read a novel and kept the communication book at my elbow to keep an eye on any messages from the others.
Tonight was a little more bothersome.
For one, Simon's toys were finally here. That was good, right?
Not exactly.
This morning, the sun had risen to reveal a thick evergreen forest surrounding the hotel, and before getting some shuteye, I picked out a likely looking hill. Somewhere Simon's girls could get a look at the hotel while still having ample tree cover to mask any lights they might have.
Turns out I was a little too good with my guess, and by the time I realized where the girls were headed, it was too late for me to pull back. Which is how I came to lie less than ten yards from their camp, on the downslope of the hill.
There had been just enough time to shuffle under the boughs of a nearby evergreen, and now its branches brushed against my back while my head was filled with the musty scent of discarded pine needles scattering the forest floor.
I had my arms and legs spread to press myself to the ground and stay as low as possible. With The Father absent, the sky was dark, and I wouldn't be doing much reading until after midnight when it was to rise again.

Bearish side: Algo will have more carbon neutral competitors in the future... CBDC could still be the silent killer if implemented and regulated incorrectly. A CBDC isn't going to come to Algo anytime soon unless the Marshall island project provides A+ caliber data, so it looks like Algo may dip again in the near term but they seem to be way in front of the curve when it comes to creating the ecosystem for future dapps, investors, partners and CBDC's.
