Shield Maiden Puns

I have had shield maidens for a long time. Every time I use them in battle, they just get killed easily. They aren't max yet but I maybe using them wrong. Any suggestions?

When Royal Champion uses her ability on shield Maiden during shield maidens ability, it stuns her and shes able to move/attack while her shield is up. Makes Shield Maiden feel so strong when she can attack when her shield is up.

The return on damage is too much. The shield duration is too much. She's very tanky too but hey that's her literal role. But these 2 abilities on top of the tankiness is op. Literally lost a 3v shield maiden coz she reflected all damage lol. Pekka is good counter but when trying other decks it's tough tho since majority of the minis don't do burst damage.

So...the ShieldMaiden:

A lot of people are complaining that she's OP (which she really isn't)

•To be able to counter her you gotta understand her mecanics first:

1°- She only charges her ult by the time she gets Hit not by the Damage she takes.

2°- Damage over 1 still goes thru her shield.

3°- She does not reflect 100% damage back,she only reflects 1 damage

So,How To Counter Shield Maiden:

•Heroes:

The absolute worst matchup against Shield Maiden is Barbarian King and ArcherQueen,since they don't deal 1 huge amount of Damage,they deal a lot of Damage with a lot of Attacks, and this feeds the Shield Maiden making her get her ult fast.

The best Heroes against her are: ShieldMaiden, Countess and Monk

•Minies:

Since we now know that damage over 1 goes thru her shield,why don't we build a deck around that.

Things like Giantskelleton will be our main tank, (I suggest placing them in the 1° Lane to bait out any Tank/DPS troops of the enemy,while we place our Hero in the 2° Lane,so that he/she can Flank the Troops and Charger his/hers super.

Stuff like MiniPEKKA, Guardian, PEKKA will be our secondary Tank,the tanks that flank the enemy Troops with the Hero so that if the First Tank dies,they can jump into his Place

Support cards are also important,in this case i Suggest Lumberjack,since the GiantSkelleton is our main tank and is expected to die healers would be a NO GO but you can probably play around that.

DPS units are quite important,so i suggest playing SpearGoblin/Mage bc their second ☆ abilities are busted and defenetly worth the 12 elixir, also other things like Miner are also important since his 1°☆ Ability with the Backstab can and will save you a Round...

I don't have video for this but when the shield maiden was struck the royal champion shield and musk shot at the same time after it was no longer stunned it moved when in shield and was reflecting shots.

I have a thing for Vikings, and shield maidens, but not enough so that I don't want a good story as well. It's a five-book series. Is it worth getting into?
