A list of puns related to "Scalia"
thoughts? not particularly interested in public interest or politics, but GMU seems like a solid school and I love the D.C. area. I'm interested in IP law atm but that's always subject to change
Stats in flair. Applied 10/29, interviewed on 12/8! Really loved the school and area when I visited so super excited about this one!
Hey everyone. Does anyone here have any information on the timeline for those who applied to the George Mason University Scalia Law Scholars program?
Itโs early decision (aka binding) but only if you get a full ride. I applied back in November and havenโt heard anything besides having my status change to Under Review recently.
I heard from someone that an interview is pretty much unofficially required to be accepted. I have not been interviewed. My stats are close to both medians.
As a guy with a wife and kid, I was hoping Iโd know a bit sooner than the mid-February date they give on the website, especially since I applied several months ago. I also only applied to this program because I own a house in the area and have no interest in commuting elsewhere (I.e. into DC. Iโm staying in NoVA).
If anyone has insight, I would very much appreciate it. Has anyone been accepted through this program?
Thank you.
I'm interested in applying to GMU through their early decision Scalia law scholars program since it offers a full ride. I've got a 165 lsat and a 3.6mid GPA so I feel I'd be a good applicant. However, I've looked at scholarship info for people with similar stats and it looks like they get close to a full ride, 100k+ of 122k tuition.
Regardless, should I decide to apply, does anyone know anything about the essay? the description on both their website and lsac says only "please submit an essay describing your interest in and eligibility for the Scalia Law Scholars Program."
Has anyone applied/ heard anything from an admissions counselor about what the paper looks like?

Trying to decide if I should apply for the ED full tuition scholarship at George Mason Scalia Law. GPA: 3.66 LSAT: 159 The main draws for me are being in the DC area and the full tuition scholarship. Iโm hesitant to apply ED because the school doesnโt have a study abroad program in Paris (which is in line with my career goals). Curious as to my chances of receiving the scholarship with my numbers. If I end up going there anyway, Iโll kick myself if I didnโt apply for the scholarship. Please help!
Applied 10/29, complete 11/1 no change to the tracker since. Stats in flair. Email invite said to sign up to interview before Dec 13th or they will proceed with the review of my app without the interview.
Any tips on how to prepare/ what to expect are much appreciated!
hi friends has anyone had a Scalia law interview yet and can offer some perspective on what to expect? Itโs only a 15-20 minute time block. (What the heck can we accomplish in that span of time???) if anyone can provide insight I would be so grateful so Iโm not neurotically preparing for every possible thing they can throw at me hahaha
Got the email invite today.
Applied 10/5.
Just got an interview invite at George Mason! Anyone have any insight on the structure/topic of the interviews? Any information would be much appreciated!
Oh boy, oh boy! And I thought the Stydia romance in season 6 was forced. I wasn't prepared at all for the atrocity that is the Scott and Malia "romance". It's so forced and unthought out๐คฎ
Re-applying to GMU/ Scalia Law School was waitlisted the last time around due to applying late into January. My question is: do I need to redo my whole Mason Statment? Or can I just tweak a few things? I redid my whole Personal statement and resume... honest opinions please!

So I absolutely used to and still do... dislike this pairing. I always was annoyed that Scott would even consider it after she dated his best friend. It's like bro code not to date your best friends ex... but I just realized something.
Malia and Scott start to develop feelings for eachother after stiles is taken by the hunt. So, neither of them have any knowledge of thier best friend. The feelings developed naturally. That being said he "technically" didn't go after his best friends Ex. Still don't like it tho
Huge edit** My point to this post was that noone can say it was bro code.... stiles didn't exist when they started developing feelings...
Mission failed
GPA: 3.6x, LSAT: 17low. Applied 10/29, interviewed on 12/8! Really loved the school and area when I visited so super excited about this one!
