A list of puns related to "Saintes"
I am very new to this fandom. I picked the books up recently and I am nearing the end of book two. I am making this post now because I am annoyed. This is a nice concept and I am enjoying the whole idea behind it but the fact that they're only 17 (right??) doesn't sit right with me. I am (only) 22 years old but the way they don't talk to each other and especially Mal, who acts like a child most of the time is so annoying.
His miserable circumstances aside he is insufferable and selfish. I have read some other posts and yes there are "worse" characters but that's not the point. I cannot deal with the childish behaviour of him running away from her and then talking so condescendingly (Example: when he appears after this big showing and says: I wasn't on duty etc. and walks off).
Alina is no saint (pun intended) but she TRIES to talk to him and seems to reflect on her behaviour and stuff but Mal? I know we don't know his perspective but in comparison to alina it doesn't appear like he is doing anything to help their relationship in these difficult times.
I WISH these kind of series came with characters who are more my age and a little more mature. I know that people are childish sometimes, no matter how old they are, but this is just so insufferable sometimes. Why is it always the 15 - 17 year old's who have to save the world?
Jimmy Graham has been rampaging his way through the NFL this season despite a couple of injuries, and has been arguably the most productive player in the NFL out of everyone who plays a receiving position. He is on pace to catch for 1400+ yards and about 18 td's, and might surpass those numbers if he recovers from the injuries that seem to have had his yardage figures down lately.
What kind of contract do you anticipate him pulling this offseason? I would think his production would justify a major deal that could be $14+ million per year (Percy Harvin's contract averages almost $13M per year), but there might be some kind of positional bias against him simply because TE's usually don't make the same amount of money. Graham is simply monstrous as a player, however, and really has no true injury concerns. Also, as far as I know in terms of character and locker room presence, he's a saint (pun intended).
I simply have no idea what kind of numbers he'll get offered, so what do you think?
Edit: I forgot that the tag could be in play for Graham, so what kind of money do you think he could get assuming that they do not use it?
Edit 2: Even if the tag comes into play, Graham is still probably going to get a pretty big contract extension after he accepts the tender, but it would just come from the Saints seeing as NO has a pretty tight cap situation this offseason. New Orleans is projected to be something like $12M over the cap this offseason, and even if they cut Will Smith for the $11M savings, the Saints will still have to clean house just to afford the ~$6.5M TE tag figure for Graham plus their rookies, other FA's, etc. If Graham manages to get the WR tag figure, it goes up to almost $11M, which the Saints would have to really work to accommodate.

Last year I finally purchased a vintage of one of my bucket list wines, Clos Sainte Hune. 2016 was the oldest/only vintage in the store, and it was "only" $270. ๐
Life is short, and I'm impatient. Would it be infanticide to open this now?
I'm okay missing out on some minor added complexity or funky tertiary notes that come with major age, but I'm not fine cracking open a bottle that would massively under-deliver or taste out of balance.
Playing as the attacking Americans, I was an Officer and we had a fantastic commander telling each squad what to do, asking them to set up garrisons in key positions before pushing in on the points from multiple directions and overwhelming the enemies.
We started having difficulties trying to cap the Dugout point in the middle of the map, thanks to enemy armour and infantry placed along the roads leading up to the point, but eventually with about 10 seconds left on the countdown we all managed to rush in and cap it in overtime, which was honestly such a fantastic experience and probably the highlight of all my time in this game so far.
We then started making our way up to Hugo's farm, but were again seriously struggling with enemy infantry, especially behind the point, and a Tiger tank as well which took out my OP and a friendly garry, but I was still having a good time.
I started to push up around behind the point to hopefully establish a new garry, but got hit, and then kicked from the server because my connection spiked for a second. Mood completely ruined. I went from being really ecstatic and having a good time to being filled with pure fury.
All that time spent in such an incredible match, all the progress I had made, and I lose so much of it because of connection issues that I have no control over.
Such a shame. I feel bad for the rest of my squad since I just randomly disappeared, but I hope the team did well in the end.
I really wish the devs would implement a better system for keeping progress in situations like this.
Event is listed as 4:00pm to 3:00am. That's quite a Window. What time should I expect Rufus to come on? Any help is appreciated.
