A list of puns related to "Rubber Hose Animation"
In the short animation, the train was animated like a cartoon to give it emotion.
I donβt know what the phobia is called and it bothers me. Rubber Hose Animation is the animation style like from the game βcup headβ does anyone know what this is called? Iβve spoken to people who get uncomfortable by this art style too but the only thing I can find is βKyrofelonoshophobiaβ which is a fear of cartoons. This is different so Iβm wondering if it has a specific name? Cheers!
(This is my first time on this subreddit so sorry for any mistakes.)
When I was around 6 (still in elementary), I have a small memory of watching an animated cartoon. I think it was on Boomerang , it had the same style as some of the old Tom and Jerry cartoons.
It featured a rabbit (or to me it looked like a rabbit. He had a black suit and orange hair (Probably fake hair/Toupee) and he was a magician. He attempted to get into some concert or festival but a monkey (it could've been also a dog) refused him entry. They are anthropomorphic.
Defeated, the rabbit finds a wand in a back alley and uses it to get revenge on the monkey/person via hijinks and pranks. One of them was turning him into a tribal leader (They spoke random gibberish for a bit then shout something) and then some Betty Boop looking outfit (Red dress, blonde-maybe orange-hair and heels with lipstick and a high pitched voice). During this tiny white monkeys (could've also been gloves) start dancing along with some of the pranks.
The monkey/dog person finds out and gets revenge by having the Rabbit do the same jokes but in rapid succession to the point where the amount of jokes cause the rabbit to explode (the white monkeys are also still there) . He lives and gives the classic goofy face after someone is hit (the smile and half-closed eyelids). It ends there.
I'd say it was made at sometime in the 1900's as it was hand drawn and water colored backgrounds. I don't know how I saw or what channel (I'm only guessing Boomerang due to that Channel of broadcasting several old shows and cartoons).
If someone knows this small little cartoon, please let me know as I want to see a small bit of my childhood as when I watched it, I laughed my 6 year ___ off.
Hey there, I was quite intrigued by the animation style of games like Cuphead and cartoons like Mickey Mouse Short films. Can you recommend me some games (or even movies/cartoons) of the same animation style?
I am working on a character design for a protagonist in a game I want to get to (I am very new to dreams and I have a lot of work to do in order to reach that goal).
For my first character that I want to sculpt, I made a fairly simple design based off of rubber hose animation. In fact, that's exactly what I want the arms of this character to do; moving wobble around like a wet noodle but still be able to animate punches and stuff.
So is it even possible? I could probably do a whole bunch of segments and just sculpt out hose-like arms, but that just seems incredibly complex.
Any help would be great, as well as any ideas for bouncing effects.
Thnx.
The entire video is CGI but is made to look like 1930's old cartoons. Near the end the little black and white anthro animal is scared and crying and is brought back by a friend into his original cartoon, I think the friend was a rabbit. The music was relaxing but spooky IDM-like music. Found it around 2015-2016 on youtube.
I know why characters back then often wore gloves and had dark bodies, but why did many of them have Pac-Man shaped pupils? Was there an actual reason for this?
