A list of puns related to "Rotomolding"
Hi, im 25 years old welder by trade. Been working in the rotomold industry for 3.5 years now. I dont run the machines, i build, repair, modify and maintain the molds so i have a very strong understanding of how these things need to go together/come apart to get the part out when its done cooking. Im just wondering if theres anyone out there who has experience cooking smaller molds, for instance, a bong. Id have to design maybe 20 of them all the same, build a frame that allows them all to be removed and put back in once the part is made and taken out of the mold, as well as be bolted to the arm of the machine that spins them in the oven.
Usually a bong would be injection molded but i figure using the rotomold technique could increase production and therefore profit. Has anyone done this before?
I'm designing a plastic case for a project for the company I work for, but I've never done anything in rotomolding so I want to shorten my learning curve.
Thanks!
Cypress Designs is a local rotomolding company in Bellingham, Washington and they've been working on a new project called the Dogfish boat. The project is well under way but they've discovered that a $100,000 grant from Chase bank is available to them if they get the required 250 votes for eligibility.
I'm not normally one to share things like this, but if you'd like to help support a great local business and encourage some of that big bank money to be used for something good, consider giving them a vote! It obviously only takes a minute.
If you're curious, check out the project right here.
Also, here is the link to his company, Cypress Designs. He created a neat free water rain collection container that you've probably seen all over Bellingham.
And finally, here is the link to vote!.
I had a very nice Sundance for years. Sold it with my house. I did have a number of issues with parts over the 8 years needing replacing and a small leak. Overall it served me well. Now I see they are like 18k retail and assume we will get some discount. I am considering a lower-cost model as I really just like sitting outside in hot soaking water and the jets are ok, but not sure I need the horsepower of these beasts. Has anyone used these rotomodels and do they really function ok on 110 power? Also, what kind of out-the-door discount can I expect on the Sundance, Bullfrog, or Hot Springs if I decide to get the big boys? Thanks in advance for any tips.
So I find out my dad and his wife bought brand new kayaks 2 years ago and have never used them. I figured I could borrow one for a few weeks (months? years?) because theyβre gathering dust in a garage so I go and take a look at them.
Both are sitting on sawhorses with a bunch of garbage loaded on top. Hers doesnβt look too bad. His Pungo WITH THE TAGS STILL ON IT has completely deformed around the sawhorse. Iβm pissed because I canβt even afford a decent kayak and here is a $1000 boat getting destroyed.
Has anyone here fixed severe denting before? Iβm thinking hot sun, a few boards to spread out the force, and a car jack? Any other ideas/advice?
Thank you in advance!
Hello everyone.
I am working at a startup and we have a hollow rotomolded product that we want to fil with foam to reinforce it. The hollow cavity is very narrow at certain points and i think that we need to use a liquid poly urethane foam to fill the cavity. A filling foam if you will. I am having trouble locating a supplies so does anyone know a supplier or experienced party for this sort of thing in Europe? preferably around the Netherlands.
Cheers,
So I came into a lot 14 45qt rotomolded coolers. They are unbranded and straight from the manufacturer, plus they are all blue. I have sold a few of them over the last few months but have not been able to move them as I expected. I currently have them listed on FBM and eBay. To this point all of my sales have mostly been word of mouth though. Just curious if anyone had any ideas about better ways to move them.

Hi, new to this forum. I am looking at buying the following kayak for all-around use but am not able to find any information or reviews. The Evoke Muskoka Sit-In Rotomolded Kayak, 10-ft. When I google it I do not find any results for reviews, only other Evoke kayaks. Here is the link to the ad for it. Evoke Muskoka Sit-In Rotomolded Kayak, 10-ft. Here is the link to the ad.

Does anybody have experience with this brand/model, and would you recommend it, opinions, reviews? Thanks in advance.
My Ozark rotomolded cooler is stuck closed - I tried to pry it open with a screwdriver but no go. Well, I could use more force but I wanted to see if there is another way.
Just returned to Phoenix from a trip to Moab, Utah. Could the change in elevation cause a vacuum inside? Itβs currently sitting in 95deg f sun to warm up and expand the air inside.
Hello all! You have, for better or worse, become my go-to source for into and help making purchase decisions.....thanks!!!

Looking for something around 19L x 15W x 19H to fill the gap in front of my folded rear seats in my '21 Outback so my exped mattress is supported.
Know of any high quality coolers or any storage bins that would snugly fit?
