A list of puns related to "Rogue State"
Howβs rogue company state Rn I havenβt played rogue company since july
They slowed down player movement, and keep tweaking at the weight system and the inertia system.
But nothing has been down to the scavs, guards and rogues. It'd like their AI system assumes we can still ad as strafe like before and move around like a COD player.
Some of these guards are killing on sight while their guns are still aimed at their feet and it's ridiculous and discouraging.
Let me start by saying I absolutely loved rogue legacy the first, for all its flaws it was a great game and I was pretty stoked to find thereβs a sequel. I did however see itβs early access and wanted to ask a few questions before making the dive:
First and foremost, howβs the grind this time around? The last 30% or so of rogue legacy felt like such a chore because of the grind, I had so many runs that pretty much amounted to nothing because I didnβt get enough gold to afford any of the (now) ridiculously expensive upgrade tree bits. Have they made it a little more flexible late game so you donβt feel like you hit a wall at a certain point?
Howβs the current content amount? Is there enough here to play around with and discover new things for hours and hours or is it still in a state where youβll get as far as you can fairly fast.
Save states, are those being wiped every time the game gets a new update or do they carry over?
How is the class variety/ balancing? Most of the classes in RL1 felt fairly same-y to me. They all had distinct talents but otherwise they all had a sword and some were just better than others because of defense & max HP. Do the classes feel more distinct here?
Iβm going to buy the game eventually I know that for sure, Iβm just trying to figure out if itβs worth getting now or just waiting for version 1.0
If you can't decide, you 'go rogue' by default. Each army has been instructed to kill on sight anyone who has not actively joined their army.
A militia of rebels, also, exists - mainly comprised of other rogue individuals.. However, if you choose to go rogue, you do not necessarily have to join this militia.
Iβve been here since beginning of beta and this has been a wild ride of ups and downs for this game. Right now I would say this is either the worst or one of the worst states this game has been in. Bugs everywhere, and some people canβt even log in to the game. And the player base has dropped tremendously since beta. You go from 400k viewers partnering up on twitch to barely 1k viewers a day. I donβt want to shit on this game because I really love it but some things just need to be said. I feel like one reason this game is in this state is because of hi-rez. And at the same time Iβm really not surprised about this especially after seeing their last few flops with games. I have them a second chance with this game after they ruined my favorite BR realm Royale. Now Iβm not saying this game is dead but after seeing steam charts and other statistics, this game will most likely go downhill in the coming months. Now it still wonβt be dead but it will not be in the state it is in now if hi-rez wants to keep pushing cosmetics up our ass when we have bigger issues atm. I still love and play this game a lot but something about the state it is in right now makes me not feel like itβs rogue company anymore. Back then I always felt like a badass every match being a top specialist rogue fighting for money. Then now it feels like I can barely get into a match without it saying someone left the match. There is still more I would like to talk about but I think Iβm just gonna leave this here. While I still love this game I do have concerns for the future of it.
This could get interesting.
Rogue truck drivers are reportedly plotting to shut down major highways across Australia to protest against Covid lockdowns.
One driver has issued a warning in a videoΒ circulating online that truck drivers are 'planning to shut down the country' to 'remove the s*** government'.
He said supply chains would soon be interrupted and urged Aussies to stock up on groceries to get them through the next couple of weeks.
These opinions are my own and of other players that I have spoken to recently, which feel really need to be addressed. I am not saying they are right, but I would at least love to start a conversation about them.
I have been playing this game from early beta. I have been Rogue rank every season, competed in CMG, played in multiple in-house leagues, scrims and tournaments. I would consider myself one of the top players in the game.
This is not to boost my ego but to try and justify where I am coming from when trying to explain why the player base β especially the top players/the players that have played from day one β are leaving the game at an alarming rate. You can see this by yourself with a lot of popular content creators such as 9NTY6 leaving the scene due to frustrations with the game.
The TTK Revert
The TTK revert is controversial, I know a lot of the casual player base hated it when it was brought in but I myself and a lot of others enjoyed the fact that it promoted a faster paced game. Third person games are by nature defender sided which makes for slower games based around positioning and movement. By allowing the defenders to take more bullets it cancels out the attackers being able to safely punish these mistakes in turn creating a negative playstyle where attackers do not want to push or play at a faster pace. In my eyes this goes against the soul of the game, the tagline is βLook good, save the day, get paidβ. You donβt look good making multiple positional mistakes, taking 99 damage and cowering behind a trip mine.
The Various Glitches
Rogue Company is good when it works. Since season 1 I have crashed at least twice a game on Vice (which is a shame because it is one of my favourite maps). The things like the Fixer instant win glitch, rounds being skipped, bombs not being able to be defused etc. are so common now that there is literally a new one being found every week. Iβm not asking for a perfect game but things like alt+f4ing and not getting punished for it is ridiculous. I assume not losing any points in ranked is another one of these glitches which has taken the little enthusiasm I had for climbing the ladder away.
Rogues
Most of the Rogues in the game are good and fit a specific niche. Most, if not all of them are very enjoyable to play but some are just anti fun. There either needs to be a pick and ban system put in place to counter things like Trench on Favelas (if you are not the captain and donβt ban him)
