What Year Did Nazi Military Rearmament Plan Call For Starting The War? Would It Have Made

The original Nazi military rearmament plan called for more extensive preparations and not kicking off the war until later (in the mid 1940s I think). Does anyone have more detailed information on that rearmament plan? Timelines, planned buildups (e.g. "X cruisers, Y tanks, Z aircraft"), and the plausibility of those plans (e.g. "the Nazis planned to build Y additional tanks, but realistically only had the capacity for half that")?

Also, would additional preparation as planned given the Nazis an edge (e.g. making the Wehrmacht 10% more capable than it was under the early war that actually occured), or is there evidence that their neighbors were rapidly building up to outpace them under a late war timeline? I.e. a late war plan would give the Wehrmacht an extra 10%, but France/UK/etc would have an extra 20% by that point?

I'm trying to get a sense for whether the early war was a "better" choice than a late war from a planning perspective, or if it kicking off early was one of those times plans go awry due to hubris or underestimation of the Allies willingness to fight.

Rearmament System: Controversy Explained and Clarified

So, as some of you may be aware, the KR server is currently burning due to controversy caused by the latest patch notes and there's been a lot of confusion and drama going on in the community, as of now.

I normally don't care to speak up on the actual game-related stuff to Counter: Side, as I'm mainly just here for the story, and best boy, Shiyoon; however, I've noticed there's been quite a bit of misinformation regarding the details of Rearmament, and I wished to make this point to clear up some of the drama as well as vent my own thoughts about the situation.

Rearmament

Rearmament is the latest character upgrade system introduced to C:S with the intention of giving powercrept and underperforming characters a boost in performance. When a character is rearmed, they receive an upgrade to their kit, some minor visual adjustments to their sprite, as well as a leader effect that activates whenever said unit is assigned as a lead unit, then deployed into battle.

The Rearmament Controversy

When the Patch Notes, detailing the process of the Rearmament System came out, the KR community exploded over the requirements to Rearm an SSR unit, and for justifiable reasons.

Rearmed units are required to be lvl 110 in order to receive Rearmament, and getting an SSR unit to level 110 can be a bit of an expensive and grindy affair due to the Fusion Core bottleneck, so a lot of people who aren't whales prefer to use dupes of said unit to limit break them to lvl 110.

When a unit is Rearmed, their level is set back to lvl 1 and they do not retain their limit broken status. However, that wasn't the real crux of the issue since a lvl 100 Rearmed SSR unit was still a big upgrade over a base lvl 110 unit.

The real issue that the only announced method of obtaining Advanced Rearmament Data (The material needed to Rearm an SSR unit) was to disassemble SSRs of a matching class type. In other words, disassembling a Sniper unit gave you the Advanced Rearmament Data for either Snipers or Rangers, and so on. Adding insult to injury, the value table you got for disassembling SSR dupes was completely skewed. Disassembling an SSR unit obtained through the gacha would reward you with 20 Advanced Rearmament Data, while disassembling an SSR that was farmed or given as a free gift would only give you...

2 Advanced Rearmament Data.

You need 280 Advanced Rearmament Data for Rearm.

You also didn't get Fusion Cores for disassembling through Rearmament Lab.

How much did the future Allied Powers know about German rearmament in the inter-war period?

One thing that always kind of blows my mind is how much Germany was able to rearm prior to the outbreak of World War 2. Quite a lot of that rearmament was still done when Germany was still pretending to adhere to arms control treaties, such as the Washington and London Naval Treaties, the Treaty of Versailles, etc. My question is: how much did the allies know about German rearmament? And if the Allies did know that Germany was rebuilding its navy and air force, then why didn't they impose diplomatic pressure or economic sanctions? From what I know, it seems like, once Hitler seized power, Germany ignored the treaties limiting its military forces and either totally bamboozled Britain and France, or Britain and France let Germany get away with rebuilding its military.

General Adrien Victus stood alongside Primarch Fedorian looking out at the reborn Palaven home fleet.

"It's larger than it was." Adrien stated, looking over the sleek dagger like ships. Gone were the brittle wings of old, instead the Turian navy had shifted over to survivable dagger shaped vessels that maximized armor while minimizing the cross section exposed to the enemy.

"Our fleet is still smaller over all but it has been easy to justify funding due to the UNE threat." Fedorian mused, looking over the rebuilt fleet while a wing of fighters designed during a technological exchange with the asari flew past.

"Still it is no small feat to rebuild what we lost." Adrien replied looking at the pride of the fleet with a critical eye.

The Palaven Class super-dreadnought was a combination of the human carrier coupled with the time tested philosophy of the dreadnought. It was built around several Eezo cores and out performed the old queen of the heavyweights, the Destiny Ascension, to the point that it rendered all previous vessels obsolete through merely existing. It was, much like the fighters it carried, a result of collaboration with the Asari. Its two kilometer length and redundant drive cores allowed it to fire one ton shells at an eye watering 5% the speed of light, more than doubling the previous speed and significantly closing the range gap between UNE and Citadel warships.

"I just hope it's enough to keep the humans at bay. We've only got a total of five Palavens in service and their crews are green." Primarch Fedorian still wasn't sure what to make of the newcomers.

[ECONOMIC] Rearmament and Research - Federal Budget for 2022

Part 1

Chancellor Weidel has announced the German Budget of 2022, completely forgoing the Bundestag in order to quickly deal with the ongoing crisis. The budget shows Berlin’s immediate goals and hints at its future national policy.

##Defense Spending

>Spurred on by Strategic Perspective 2030, the German Federal Government has increased its defense spending from 1.2% of its GDP to 2.5%. Vice Chancellor and Defense Minister Frank Franz has argued it to be absolutely necessary to preserve the stability of Germany. Defense hawks in the DNVP have called for it to be higher, pointing at the collapse of NATO, the disintegration of the United States of America, and the rapid expansion of the Commonwealth of Sovereign States.

##Education Spending

>The Federal Government has also significantly increased its education spending in an attempt to preserve its skilled workforce. Spending will primarily be directed to improving the quality of education, with education facilities receiving upgrades and salary increases.

##Research and Development

>Chancellor Weidel has stressed the importance of Germany retaining its spot as a technological powerhouse. Funding will be distributed across all sectors, with energy and military projects receiving the most attention.

##Social Spending

>Despite concerns that the DNVP might massively back on Social Spending, Chancellor Weidel has maintained the policies of the CDU/CSU welfare state. She’s cited its importance in maintaining domestic stability, calling it a stabilizing factor in harsh times. Cuts have been made to accommodate the large influx of defense spending.

##Foreign Aid

Foreign Aid has been cut completely.

Soviet / NATO rearmament at sea

I seem to recall a recent article about a current effort to be able to reload VLS cells at sea / underway.

Is there any known writing, or planning about resupplying the Soviet navy at sea? I'm curious what ideas might have been thrown around for lifting a telephone pole sized P-700 and placing it on Kirov / an Oscar while out of port.

[Poem] Rearmament by Robinson Jeffers (1935)

These grand and fatal movements toward death: the grandeur of the mass
Makes pity a fool, the tearing pity
For the atoms of the mass, the persons, the victims, makes it seem monstrous
To admire the tragic beauty they build.
It is beautiful as a river flowing or a slowly gathering
Glacier on a high mountain rock-face,
Bound to plow down a forest, or as frost in November,
The gold and flaming death-dance for leaves,
Or a girl in the night of her spent maidenhood, bleeding and kissing.
I would burn my right hand in a slow fire
To change the future … I should do foolishly. The beauty of modern
Man is not in the persons but in the
Disastrous rhythm, the heavy and mobile masses, the dance of the
Dream-led masses down the dark mountain.
