The doors in the laundry room and kitchen have both randomly opened (a couple times in front of me) despite no one being anywhere near them, electronics have gotten turned off, and my stove got turned off randomly halfway through cooking when I went to grab a book.
There's no one else on the server but me and my spouse, and I know where they were at the time, and it couldn't have been them. No zombies around, either, we even triple checked.
Did we accidentally move into the Amityville house? Are there any events that can lead to some of this stuff?

Every time you load your save the game reminds you to make local backup saves, and it's a good idea to do so. You never know when your save is going to disappear for no reason. I back up my saves every night before I set up my sleep grind, and I keep a history of the past 3 saves just in case. Overkill, perhaps, but I like to be safe, and it literally only takes a minute. What else am I gonna do while brushing my teeth?
First off, you can only make a backup from the local save menu. You can't back up a cloud save from the cloud save menu. I don't know why. If you want to back up a cloud save you have to load it and overwrite your local save. (you can back up your local save first, load the cloud save, back that up, then import that first save you backed up (i don't know why you would do this, but it is an option))
You can back up your saves on the main menu by selecting Settings next to your save.

Download Save will download a text file containing your save string, which is a huge wall of gibberish text. This is the easiest options for anyone playing on a laptop or desktop. It doesn't work on my iphone. It might work on android, I don't know.

Export Save will open a text field with your save string, which you can then copy and paste into a text file or a notes app on your phone. Make sure you select all and copy every character in the window or your save will not work. Confirm that you've copied it all by comparing the first and last few characters after pasting it into your notes.

Create Save Link will display a link like this https://melvoridle.com/save/aGSh9uojnkd that contains your save string, like the two above options, and can also be directly pasted to import your save. This is convenient, and I'm sure the devs worked hard to make this option great, but I would not personally rely on this link still being valid when I need it the most. The whole point of this post is to encourage everyone to not rely solely on a distant server to safeguard your data.
However, this looks like a great option for short term usage, quickly moving a save from one device to another, or sharing your save with someone else.
Now, for importing your backed up save in case your game is deleted.

To make it something challenging, make these cryptids have a mutation or different fight mechanics and give them Explosive Resistance to make sure the boss won't be melted by legacies like the Imposter sheepsquatch. This means the fight needs great rewards though, legendary modules and new plans that include weapon skins would be nice.
The event should also have a special icon that makes it stand out from other events and low levels should be able to join whether or not they have explored the area the event spawns in.
One of my favorite games Victoria II, was not expecting this, but the Execution of the Bab is apparently coded into the game as a random event. You will note the date is note historically accurate because "the event" is given the parameters to occur of within the years of 1848 - 1852.
Aapparentlty in the sequel this of this game (which should come out late 2022) Victoria III will allow you to "Convert Persia to Babism". For those interested in playing Victoria II you take charge of any country beginning in the year 1836 - 1936 and develop its industry, citizenry, and take part in warfare and diplomacy. It's highly addictive and nice for those who like slower, logical, strategy, type games. :)

When balancing for Aya acquisition, we neglected to consider the Ghoul Bounties (this was our mistake). As a result of Ayaβs placement within these, this recurring event was being run in such a way that vastly detracted from the intended flow of Bounties, which also caused endless migrations and session problems. As this is a randomly repeating event, weβve set it up so any recurrences of this event have been put on hold until The New War update launches, at which time their next appearance will have slightly refactored drop tables (similar to how we handled Aya in some Void missions). We are sorry for any confusion here, but we wanted to be transparent about our plans for the Ghoul Bounties.
We will have launch information for "The New War" soon, as of this post the latest information is 'December', but we will update here once we have the date live!

#What are we doing?
This event will operate the same way it did last year.
To participate, simply sign-up to the event. Sign-ups will be open for roughly 7 days from December 1st until December 7th!
We will require some info from yourselves: your preferred classes, items, and the like.
The mod team will then work as quickly as possible (about 3 - 5 days) to go through all the responses, pair everyone up with a giftee, and assign you a gifter!
You will then be sent the Reddit & Steam username of your giftee, along with their trade partner URL, so you will be able to deliver the gift(s) of your choice to them, and maybe add them for a chat!

I don't think its game breaking but kind of hits on the early game run issues and the "Dead" random events?
Imagine how great it would feel to not only see the smile on Prison Pete's face as you're running to freedom together, but knowing that you can actually finish this section of one small favour without having to walk.
I've been playin the whole Event with lots of randoms in mostly Trios and i had a really good time. Fun over Ingame Chat and good Teamwork.
But thats gone for the last couple of days. What i now get is People that stay at the spawn for several Minutes just to go to the Extract then. Mates that are pushin headless into fights and then leave when they die.
I think its cause many of the good Players that are willing to play randoms correct are takin a break now since they finished the Event.
Anyone else experienced the same or is it just bad luck on my side with the Mates?
Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed how much people get their news and understanding of current events from memes and tweets made by random blue checkmarks? How much nuance and detail can really fit in 140 characters or a picture with text typed over it? I'm having a hard time remembering a time before memes and social media, but were people always this uninformed yet at the same time so sure of their point of view? I can't help but think that social media companies just use the blue checkmark influencers to exploit the average person's sensibilities to get them wound up over controversial political and social issues so that they get more engagement and thus more money.
