I basically see the walls and floor breathing, my bed changing or shape like getting bigger from a place , morphing a bit, if I go feel the walls even from very close I see how it breathes and I can even feel with my fingers how itโs breathing, sometimes I see the cars like moving at me and no one is in the car, I see the wheels moving and it ends up that theyโre actually not, most of times I canโt tell when itโs real or not , for example the bed one and walls itโs obvious they donโt breathe but I see it clearly , but the car ones Ive seen them moving at me and itโs so scary and it ends up being real Iโm wondering if those are hallucinations or pseudohallucinations, and eh well sometimes I get like visions , theyโre so strong at the point at sometimes I donโt even know in what reality I am of in the one of the vision or me expectations it, theyโre like vivid thoughts that u see and u donโt know if itโs real or a vision, sometimes I get voices inside of my head talking, arguing and telling me what to do , like Monologues that I CANT control , they last for like 2 hours talking and screaming non stop and telling me what to do
I keep reacting to grab my water bottle that out of the corner of my eye looks like itโs falling over or about to slide off the couch etc? When they are not but I react so physically to catch it. Is this a hallucination?
To start, pseudohallucinations are real hallucinations, but they are understood by the person who has the hallucination to not be real - to be, in fact, a hallucination. They are also called non-psychotic hallucinations.
I've had pseudohallucinations since I was very young. They left me with a permanent fear of the dark, amongst other effects. I've heard some anecdotal and documented accounts of people with Borderline Personality Disorder having pseudohallucinations (aside from myself), and I am wondering how prevalent it actually is.
It actually led to my psychiatrist going quite deep into the diagnosis as I presented with both pseudohallucinations and real delusions, which, among other symptoms seemed to mirror a psychotic disorder - like schizophrenia. I'm still not totally sold on the idea that I don't have a psychotic disorder, but I am happy with my diagnosis nonetheless.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
