I'd enjoy discussing the crowns and my project.
We all know, by now, that Ballas goes on a power trip and subjugates the entire system. That's easily understood, but I think something that slipped past most people, especially people who aren't huge history dorks like myself, is the name he chose to rule under:
Narmer is, generally, believed to be the first Pharaoh of a united Egypt, and thus the first pharaoh of the first dynasty of Egypt. His reign, though not well documented or understood due to a dearth of evidence, is generally accepted as the transition from the pre-dynastic (or proto-dynastic) period of Egypt, into the Early Dynastic period. He is believed to have founded the First Dynasty of Egypt by uniting both Upper and Lower Egypt under a single ruler for the first time. Most Egyptologists equate Narmer with "Menes", who is listed on several ancient Kings Lists as the first pharaoh (but it should be noted that none of the ancient lists are comprehensive, sometimes deliberately so).
In short, Narmer's rule represents a time of significant change in Egypt. He is the first pharaoh to be depicted wearing both the Hedjet (the White Crown of Upper -- i.e., southern -- Egypt) and the Deshret (the Red Crown of Lower -- i.e., northern -- Egypt), but, notably, never the Pschent (the dual crown, which combines both the white and red crowns and represents the final form of pharaonic power: the Ruler of the Two Lands, He of Sedge and Bee, He of the Two Ladies). Even in this very early period, Egyptian iconography is already well established, so this isn't a mistake: it's a message. The ancient Egyptians are saying to the future: Narmer is the ruler of both Upper and Lower Egypt; he has changed things.
This is where I stop rambling about history and get on with the point vis a vis Warframe: Ballas chooses Narmer as his regnal name. Narmer represents, both for Egypt and, now, for Warframe, transition. If I'm not completely out of my mind, whomever it is at DE that has a love of ancient history (and I know you're out there, and I love you for it) is deliberately choosing names so as to emphasize and hint at what's going on, both in terms of the story and, presumably, the game as a whole.
(As an aside, it's also worth noting here that Ballas' fancy hat at the end of the climactic battle looks very broadly similar to the [Atef](https://en

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.

Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.
