A list of puns related to "Power Kite"
Look at his recent videos. You can see the pepperoni in his eyes.
He was a different man before his recent trip abroad and it's the only explanation I can imagine that would explain this behavior. He has the smile of a man that can only, *ONLY*, be the stringed puppeteering of vinyl. How could this have happened? The explanation is simple:
Blackface Jetpacks.
Not real and never will be, but what ARE real are sapient malicious kites piloting human meatflesh suits that occasionally have to wipe kite grease on their faces. It's clear that Woolie saw these 'people' with grease on their faces being tugged into the air easily and was easily deceived into thinking these were his allies.
"Hey uhh.. how uhh... how are you doing that" he must have asked
The kiteman, not knowing if he's talking about the boneless yanking in the sky his compatriots partaking him behind him or the blackface he simply cryptically said 'by making a trade...'
"Yo I want to do that too" and still the kiteman could not tell which offered him power. True power that is held only by a string in the wind. And that's when the pizza kite yanked him away to the kite heavens. Surely he is dead now and the kites removed his organs and replaced his bones with light aerodynamic plastic.
He's trying to take others too. The way he traveled to supereyepatchwolf... they way the looked into eachothers eyes in recent gon in 60 seconds video and the wind picks up is a key telling of kitepathic aerocommunications. He may already be gone too.
Now pizza kites are one of the weakest of the kite beings (thank god) but their lust for grease and blood is unquenchable. Soon Woolie kitemadden will master kiting games because of his host's natural aptitude for fighting, rumors have it he has already attained duel wielding style. A string in this man's hands is a weapon (to anyone outside and the day is also windy)
To anyone living in the area keep an eye out for triangles in the sky and pray you don't smell melted cheese.
I just got my first packrafts, 2x MRS Nomad S1D, and went to the apostle islands in WI for a 5 day trip. Great time, we weren't quite as fast as the sea kayakers, but the boats handled well, I really appreciated the skeg. We bought a coupe wilderness systems apex carbon paddles, which were great because they can extend from 200-220cm. We used the 220 for the flatwater, and the 200 feels good for whitewater.

It gets pretty windy up on lake superior, big open fetches. I brought a couple parafoil kites I have (a prism 220&250) that aren't designed for kite surfing, but they sure do pull. It wasn't easy to get started, but I had my camping partner hand me an already flying kite when I was sitting in my boat, and boy did I move! I have to think it was ~3-5x faster than I could ever paddle.
The problem was that the packraft would pull sideways, and felt quite unstable. I also didn't have any directional control with both hands controlling the kite. Since then, I've been thinking about how it might be possible to incorporate kite towing with a flatwater packraft trip, and I'm curious if anyone has tried this?
I'm not a kite surfer (yet!) but I've seen some expedition videos with kite skiiers pulling loaded hard shell kayaks. Could this be possible with a packraft??
I'm investigating the feasibility of charging an electric vehicle via kite power in remote areas. The usage model is a lightweight and automated system that can be deployed at the end of a workday, recharge the vehicle overnight and then be packed up and transported with the vehicle.
I can see various implementations out there for kite power, but nothing seems to be the right fit. Small units are available but they are used for yacht propulsion and not power generation...the power generating units are for utility scale...
Any pointers to available products or completed DIY projects?
I am brand new to the amazing world of kites. I got my first sport kite a few weeks ago and love it. But I think Iβll much prefer a power kite. Whatβs the best starter kite/full kit. (I know thereβs a lot more parts that go into power kites so a full starter kit would be RAD!)
At first blush I thought...this thing looks ridiculous. But the more I think about it, the more I think this could really be revolutionary.

They were acquired by Google X but Google continued a pattern of killing good projects, so Makani was sold to Shell. Energy is harvested by the propellers being used as turbines once in flight. This differs from other kite systems like SkySails or Kite Power which harvest energy via work done on the the tow cable, and use soft kites. Makani uses a rigid wing, more aerodynamic, design. Thoughts?
