Mexicoβs boxing veteran Marco Antonio Barrera (67-7, 44 KOs) will face former two-time world champion Daniel Ponce de Leon (45-7, 35 KOs) in a six-round super welterweight exhibition match on November 20.
Since being inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2017, Barrera has only featured in one exhibition fight where he squared off against fellow retired boxer Jesus Soto Karass. ESPN has ranked the Baby Faced Assassin 43 among the greatest boxers of all time.
In his peak, Barrera has taken on fellow Hall of Famers Erik Morales (thrice), Johnny Tapia, and Juan Manuel Marquez. He also shared the ring with Philippineβs Manny Pacquiao, Paulie Ayala, Naseem Hamed, and Amir Kahn.
As for De Leon, he hasnβt been inside the ring in seven years. In his active years, the former two-division crown-holder claimed the WBO super bantamweight title in 2005 and defended it six times.
I had Paranormal experience at the Ponce de Leon Hotel (Flager college) St.Augustine, FL. Me and my friend were standing out in front taking pictures of the surroundings,when all of a sudden I heard a squeak sound to my right which was toward the entrance of the gates. My friend then pointed out the old iron gate was open about a quarter of the way. It was 3 am on Friday night and the building was closed by 10 pm. We got alittle freaked and walked away for about 15 mins. We then found our car and drove back to see if it was open still. The Gate was closed! The building has security but they were no where around during this, and it was completely dark around the building and the entrance to the courtyard where the gate was.there is a Giant statue of Henry Flager in front of the gate, whom is buried nearby. We started to film and ask questions to Henry or any other spirits around, unfortunately getting no evidence or the gate to move. We did however get a light flicker and the bushes moving nearby whenever I mentioned Henry's name. We wrapped it up and were walking back to the car I looked back once last time and couldn't believe it, there was a shadow figure standing inside the huge wood door inside the hotel on the other side of the courtyard from the gate. I have been inside this building before and know that there is a Giant well-lit Chandelier Where I saw the figure. Which was completely blacked out with no detailed features. Safe to say I was in shock.
