A list of puns related to "Passbook"
I just want to share here my "win" since we're almost at the end of the year.
I'm really a spender and I know this for myself, kaka-"deserve ko 'to" ayun wala akong naiipon, dagdag ko pa na breadwinner ako na only child at spoiled sakin parents ko lalo na mom ko kasi I give in with her manipulation.
Pero this year, finally got the courage to set boundaries, kahit nagka-anak ako, nakaipon pa din. Thankful to my husband din dahil he shouldered most expenses kaya na-achieve ko ito.
So I was able to save 150k sa BPI passbook, dapat sa baby namin ito, may laman na tong 100k before giving birth.
With that personal space, makakafocus ako at naniniwala ako it will increase my productivity and I can think of other ways to generate more income.
I can say I saved 200k in total this year. Btw, I started saving pala nung June lang. (Yes, money can buy you "happiness" = able to buy your needs and wants, may peace of mind ka pa)
Next year, target ko na makaipon ng total of 500k. Assuming maka-save ako ng 30k per month plus 13th month pay at performance bonus. Basta di tataas living expenses.
30k EF 10k savings with husband 10k household expenses 5k baby expenses 3k insurance 2k phone expenses - reimbursable
Wish me luck for next year.
I'm torned in sharing my plans kasi move in silence daw. Pero I believe this community is lifting each other up. So this is me, manifesting.
This is my excuse to my relatives na parating nanghihiram.
... keep reading on reddit β‘They will put in the effort of travelling to a bank and waiting in queue to interact with possibly hostile rude people. They prefer it over opening a website sitting at home.
These are people who seem to use FB and Whatsapp a lot, so I don't think they're otherwise intimidated by the internet.
What's the reasoning here?
Ok so I always found going to the branch and manually printing the passbook for transactions very cumbersome, especially due to corona.
Till date I have been using the monthly emails by SBI to keep track of my account. And I may have atleast 2 years worth of transactions to be printed.
Am I in trouble?
I made a free tool for converting PDF boarding passes into mobile passbooks.
Just upload a PDF or scan your paper boarding passes, and the app generates a digital mobile pass file you can add to Wallet and GPay: www.getpassbook.com
It really takes only two steps:
Upload or scan your airline boarding pass
Add your new passbook to your Apple Wallet/Gpay
Enjoy your hassle-free flying!
Has anybody tried converting their BDO passbook account to an ATM-only account (if at all possible?)
I want to just keep a smaller maintaining balance in BDO as I think digital banks offer a better deal for my emergency funds.
After seeing that airlines were making it harder to download a passbook file directly from web checkin, I spent a weekend creating a simple converter that can make any PDF or image flight boarding pass into a passbook file for wallet. The app is free.

With this bdo hacking incident I'm now thinking of strategies to protect and secure my money. I don't have much (<50k) but still.
Here's my questions for discussion. Feel free to answer one or all of them. Sharing other ideas are welcome.
Aside from the obvious (not sharing otp etc) what are your strategies to protect and secure your money?
Is opening a passbook accounts(without atm) and excluding it from online banking is a strategy to protect your money? (or at least part of it). A bit extreme and inconvenient but I'm curious.
Has anybody here opened an account and do not use online banking?
Thank you
Not sure if this is allowed. I'm in no way affiliated with DiningOut, but I've subscribed to their Passbook for the past few years and it's great. BOGO entrees or drinks at dozens of popular places across Denver, and right now if you purchase access to their app, you get the printed book for free (so a 2-for-1 purchase). App looks super smooth.
Be sure to tip on the pre-BOGO amount. Check out Birdcall.

Summary
And here's a very hopeful bit
Is there a way I can print like a passbook in Access. Example - If I have printed the first 3 records from a table and it occupies half of a page. Is there a way I can print the 4th record on the same page and below the first 3 records? I work for a law firm and I need to print a report of what happened on each hearing date. If I enter a new record and take a print out, I need ti use a whole new paper. So I am looking for a way to save paper. Any other method is welcomed. It just doesn't have to be a report. Or you can suggest any other application other than Access. Thanks!
Not a CC post but i figured many might have an idea on my query
For those na may BPI Passbook(without ATM) account, na meron ding separate Regular ATM sa kanila. I just wonder if ako lang ba ung hindi makatransfer from my own ATM Savings Account to my own Passbook Account using online/mobile banking???
Both accounts are enrolled online naman. Kaso wala sa drop-down list ung passbook account ko, tapos pag ittry ko ung via qr code, same lang ng error.
Used to be able to add a booked ticket to your βwalletβ once booked through the app but it doesnβt seem to be an option any more? Booked a ticket for the first time in a few weeks and the option has always been there.
Anyone else noticed this error? I know itβs nothing major but it was a great convenience.
In mutual fund apps and my brokerage, My name is "Gobinathan L" (same in my government documents) while in my bank passbook, its "L Gobinathan". While opening the account, the SBI staff said that it is the only way to add name in my account. Will this cause any issues during redemption or anywhere? Thanks.
Good day! I'm 25 and currently working in BPO. Also have CIMB/Gsave para sa extra savings.
And lastly, Planning to invest rin kahit maliit na halaga lang muna. No idea kung ano at saan ako mag iinvest. Thank You in advance
So I have a passbook account but my mom works at a bank and does 95% of my banking, but she's off today and I need to pull money out, can I pull money out of a passbook account at the bank? If so do I need anything other than my debit card and/or ID?
Hi community,
We are looking to create a digital loyalty card that people can get on a website and add to their passbook (iOS / Android).
Do you know any plugin/solution that can automatise such process in WooCommerce or WordPress?
We have found this:
Ticketsource - https://wordpress.org/plugins/ticketsource-events/ > Very few installs and no frequent updates. Are there any alternatives?
Thanks in advance,
Soo I've started my savings as Debit Savings account. Now I've saved up enough para maging Passbook Savings sila. I've been urged by older family members to get the debit account converted. I've thought about it but I don't really know how it's different from Passbook Savings Accounts. What do you guys think? Any opinions you can share?
